deskjet3630: what instant ink begin to charge

Hello

I recently bought an HP printer and it fits in the scheme of the ink instant and I was just wondering when will I begin to pay for it? This is when I install sent containers of ink? or as soon as I signed the printer?

Hi @JackBishop

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand you're wondering when the billing starts at the moment
Ink service. I would like to help.

The charges do not start until you install one of the subscription cartridges that have been sent.

  • 5660 want: Instant ink subscribe

I enroll in the instant ink and print 50 pages was charge $ 5 each month, so I decide to unsubscribe and try to just buy cartridge usually. Is this possible or what is the solution for this? I can just buy regular cartridge which c go for $ 35 and I must not be fit into instant ink program.

Yes, you can un-register instant ink at any time if it does not meet your needs.  Once you cancel the instant subscription of ink, you will need to install the standard cartridges.  The printer won't take ink cartrdiges snapshot if there is not an active subscription. See the post here for contact information and hours of instant of ink support.

  • DeskJet 3755: Instant ink

I bought my new printer about 2 weeks ago and installed cartridges setup. At that time, I did a not sign up for snapshot of ink.

Ten days later, I ran out of ink and bought a few cartridges in the store and installed. In view of the price paid for them, I decided to register for the moment ink.

Now, I get a message that they are not instant ink cartridges and the instant the ink plan will begin when I install Instant ink cartridges...

I receive mail under the plan? If so, how long will it take?

If not, should I install my cartridges to install again? Is it "moment of ink? If this is not the case, what should I do?

    Thank you.

    @Teyssier

My apologies for the confusion; I do not fully answer your question regarding the type of cartridge.

Install cartridges are not instantaneous cartridges - configuration Cartrides are used to initiate the printer on first use.

    • You can choose to use cartridges of setting until they are exhausted
    • You can choose to remove the cartridges of configuration whenever you want to do (for example, to install other ink cartridges / instant)

Although I do not use the Service to instant ink, I can't imagine there is a way to receive instant cartridges other than the agreed method, that of the Postal Service.  However, I'm not on the staff of support at the moment of ink - maybe (with supplement), you can arrange to have cartridges sent by overnight service.  To make it just a little more frustrating for you: today is a holiday in the United States - Support Instant ink may - or may not - be available by phone during the holidays.

If your printer is ink and you plan to keep the printer for a while, you might consider buying the necessary "at cost" cartridges while you wait for your instant ink cartridges.

You might also consider asking a friend print your documents (assuming that you trust your friend with the content).

    Good luck!

  • OfficeJet Pro 8170: Pending instant ink?

    Hello!

CEN I hope help with this question. I bought my OfficeJet Pro 8170 steeplechase, finished the installation program and is enrolled in the InstantInk no problem. Connected HP says that my printer is online and ready to use, and it is registered to instant ink HP. However, on the printer itself, the display shows he still expects the Onlune Setup progress remaining to be done. It's me invites to go to hpinstantink.com, but I did it, and this site shows me that the recruitment is done so. I can't make the view on the change of printer and I can't turn it off - the printer comes repeatedly prompts to complete the installation even if I already did.

I unplugged the printer and plugged in; Once the printer reconnected to my wireless network, he returned to offer me the options of 'Instant Ink HP no.' or 'Wait '.

Any help that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Is your printer the 8710 Officejet Pro I think the printer is working as my Officejet Pro 8620 - you can sign up for the moment of ink, but the subscription (and charges) will not start until you install one or more instant ink cartridges in the printer.  You should be able to say "No. HP Instant Ink" in the Setup and use installation cartridges until they are exhausted.  When the cartridges of configuration are exhausted, you can replace them with instant ink cartridges and your subscription will start.

  • Instant ink - can't register - HP staff please help!

I'm in England and have a prepaid instant ink. I'm unable to register and use the code on my card, because as soon as I open a session, the default settings of the site to return to the United States and allow me to change the location. The code I have not is invalid on the site. US I peeked at the forum and posted on someone of another similar thread, but the proposed solution, who used a different email address with a UK domain name, did not.

I am now at my wits end - I lost two evenings trying different solutions to get me registered, I sent a support request by email (response: telephone helpdesk) after 3calls with the helpdesk at great expense. Telephone assistance service was unable to connect to instant and promised ink team a reminder - guess what? He never came!

I see on this forum, there was a gentleman who was also frustrated by this registration I - he had exactly the same questions. He was lucky and had a few interventions of mods on this site and it is now registered. So... pleeeeeaaassee can someone in HP help make me on instant ink program?

    Hello

Unfortunately, it seems that your email you used to register with the instant the ink program got connected as a U.S. account and not UK, so the experience that you have received as described.

The solution is to re - register with a new email address or Alternatively if you want to keep your existing e-mail address, I can send you a message private to gather a few details and working on re-configuration of your e-mail for account registered you for the service of the ink snapshot.

By the way just to confirm the support, phone number is 0844 369 0369.

  • : Instant Instant ink shipping address

If I put more than one printer on my instant ink account, each printer has its own delivery address?

    Hi @gsander.

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I would like to add a little more in detail in the answer to your questions.

The instant the ink account can't bear a delivery address. You need to create multiple accounts, if you have multiple delivery addresses. I hope that this will change in the future.

  • Want 7640: Instant ink

Just started with instant ink. message receipt that I'm almost at the limit of my pages. 2 things:

    1. is it a page when printing when nothing prints - what has happened a few times when you try to print a Web page
    2. I can perhaps more ink to 50 pages. Can I continue to use the same cartridges but will start a new month, and the number of print again?

Please notify. Just get the hang of the present.

    Hi cleo214,

I'm glad to hear that you use instant ink!  I think that you will really enjoy the comfort and savings!

    1. instant ink does not count a page when nothing prints.  This is true of paper jams or the white pages.

    2. you can continue to print with the same cartridges.  The plan is just to let you know that you are approaching the monthly number of 50 pages. You're not ink after 50 pages.  If you exceed the 50-page plan will recommend that you go to page 100 per month plan for next month.  It is all adjustable.  There are also pages of report if you do not reach 50 in a month.

  • printer Envy 5530: Instant ink page

I got when I went to my Flash page of ink that he was telling me how many pages I print to this day and still, he says nothing, is there somewhere on the printer I get this info? Its been a few weeks, I have to wait longer? its not up to date?

    Hello @sassejan ,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you fear that your instant ink account does not display the used pages.

    I would like to help.

If you have not installed one of the welcome package ink cartridges, then the pages are not been saved.

I mean, it's, you subscribed to instant ink but the program is not active.

Ink does not get monitored and pages have not counted until the program is activated.

If you have installed instant ink cartridges, you may have a communication problem.

Simple network troubleshooting usually gets this problem.

I can help you with this, but depending on how long the connection problem that has passed, this could lead to surpluses on the number of pages.

So lets take a moment to see what you need to do.

1 do you have instant cartridges installed in the printer?

not - so don't worry about the number of pages until you do.

Yes - tap web services (2) icon to see if there is a server connection error.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8620: Instant ink

    With regard to instant ink:

    1. I guess the envelope provided with my first series of instant ink cartridges is the return of these ink cartridges instant after vacuum vs cartridges "setup" that came with the computer, correct?

    2. as I am advised by the printer, one at a time as each cartridge is now empty, I guess I can change out vs. having to wait until all color cartridges are empty; and even then, I can change on all color cartridges, leaving in the old black forward to be advised that he must now change, true?  In other words, as for example, anytime that I could have, say, the first black, the second yellow and blue, but the third cyan in at the same time?

I don't know how that affects the sending of new cartridges.

The envelopes could return the cartridges to install or you can wait for the next round.

As for changing cartridges, you can expect to change a cartridge until it is needed.  Very probably the color cartridges will become exhausted to the same time, unless you have a logo that uses only cyan for example.  Usually the color inks would be in about 10% of its use even through the colors for a random set of printing.

Instant ink billing will begin when the first instant ink cartridge is installed - even if it's just one of the four cartridges.

The printer communicates with servers to instant ink to trigger automatic ink expeditions before that you will need.

  • HP Envy 4520: Coupons printed with instant ink not scan

I use my printer primarily to print discount coupons and before starting the program of inistant ink, stores had no problem scanning of the coupons that I printed. However, that all changed when I installed new ink cartridges now and began to print. All the stores I went to redeem the coupons rejected or had to manually key in the coupons. It's extremely frustrating because it defeats the purpose of buying this new printer in the first place. Please advise! I really hope it's a simple solution.

It has been a long time when it happened. I couldn't find the exact culprit.

I ended up having to reload Windows due to another problem, and in doing so, he fixed the drop shadow.
