Desktop sharing

Hi people, share the desktop or another application with cocomo?

Hello

You can create a cocomo app for sharing graphics in real time. You must build a shared model and to transmit the data that you want to share. For example. in the case of graphics, you can send the data over the network so that each user receives the data and build the UI locally from the data graph.
There are examples in the file of examples that show how to build a model for sharing and pass complex objects on the network.
Thank you

  • Desktop sharing, allow two users to connect on the same desktop

Does anyone know if view Horizon be configured in such a way that:

-Two (or more) users can connect on the same desktop

    -vSGA can still be used

The reason why I ask, is that in my area there is a request for collaboration in which two people on different locations want to go through a 3D medical treatment plan and discuss on the phone. Documentation of the Horizon does not say that it can, but it does not say that he can't.

There is nothing on the Horizon that would in native mode.  You must use a product type to have two people viewing the same third party screen sharing office.

  • Desktop sharing Sierra

I have a headless 2010 Mac Mini that I use my media server and have found that, now that I've set up, I can't share the desktop.

I disconnected the Mac Mini and it hooked to my TV with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse and everything worked as expected, but when I restart without the TV & bluetooth keyboard/mouse, what is happening is a problem.

I connect using my MacBook Pro, and the load screen to the top, but a vertical strip on the right ¼ then the MacMini Office will appear on the left side of the screen. The remote screen will not accept the mouse clicks, keyboard keys, whatever it is.

Can I re - install el capitan on this machine? That has worked well.

Now I see that if I plug a monitor on my Mini, so I can share the screen very well from a remote machine. Guessing that there is a problem in that you have to drive a monitor before you can properly send a facsimile of the monitor to an observer.

I hope that this problem is corrected.

  • Remote Desktop win7 sharing - > XPPro only with firewall turned off?

I'm trying to set up a simple office remotely. All the computers are on a local network. I want to run the desktop sharing of my new Win7 box for my old XP Pro box. I just completely wiped and reinstalled XP Pro. Here's what happens:

With the firewall WE on the XP box, I can't use the computer name to connect. I get an error message. However, I can use the IP address to establish a remote desktop connection.

When I then disable the firewall in the XP box and close the session, I can also use the computer name to establish a connection. This connection is live, even if I then re-enable the firewall. But once I log in, I'm back using the IP address.

It seems to me that if something needs to be changed in the XP firewall, but what is?

Thanks for posting if you have an idea.

    Hi vistauser111,

We recommend that you change/reduce the security settings in Avira Security software and check the result.

Step 1: If the problem persists, we recommend that you visit the Windows updates to see if there are updates available for the remote desktop connection client and install it.
see How to keep your Windows up-to-date .

Step 2: If the problem persists, try the following steps and check the result:
    a. open the article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353
    b. method 2, follow steps 1 and 2, and then restart the computer to see if the problem persists.
    c. If the problem does not persist in the boot, then follow step 3 and step 4 to find out which is the origin of the problem, and once you have found the culprit, uninstall the program and check the result.

Note: Don't forget to follow the steps in the steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state"" section.

  • Windows 7 hangs after successful Remote Desktop Session

I have a dual boot Media-PC with XP Pro and Windows 7 Ultimate edition. This PC is part of my stereo and not convenient to do lot of keyboard work, as optimizing the WMP music library.

Thus, historically I use XP Pro using remote desktop sharing. This brings well the contact Office of the Media-PC to my laptop. When I finished with my combination of media-computer, I connect to the PC Media. The laptop Remote Desktop connection breaks and the PC Media connects...
I just installed Win 7 Ultimate and got the remote desktop connection works if I can bring my Win 7 Media PC interface to the laptop. Works very well. However, when I connect to the PC Media, to complete connection RD, basically the system hangs during the process of the Media PC connection... I waited 15 minutes and not able to connect. I have voltage in order to regain control of the PC...
... Anyone know what is happening?

  • Shortcut to shared folder used for years, suddenly will not work.

So far, I was able to send files to the shared folder on the desktop or laptop computer and access them from computers. (Both running Windows 7). The only "change" to the system recently is the August security updates. Now I can send to the shared folder on the desktop but cannot access it from the laptop. I hope some good Samaritan can help me fix this frustrating problem. Here is what I get when I try to open the link on your mobile:

This is the path in the shortcut of the laptop:

    Hello

    ·        Are you able to communicate between computers in the homegroup?

You can try to temporarily disable the antivirus and check if the same phenomenon occurs with shared folders.

    Disable the anti-virus software

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

If disabling antivirus works you will need to give exceptions.

    See the link below.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/file-sharing-essentials

Create a new folder on the computer and check. You can use advanced sharing option to check if it helps to solve this problem:

    1. go to the folder you want to share

2 right click on the folder, and then select Properties.

    3. go to the tab shares and click on the button "Advanced sharing...". ».

    4. check the option "Share this folder", and then select permissions.

    5. by default, there will be the "everyone" group

    6. If you would like everyone to change your files then click full control for everyone.

    7. click on OK.

    8. Finally, click OK, and then try opening and editing of files from another computer.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • distinguished saved all data by sharing the deskop

    Hallo!

any computer desktop or between two clients sharing application session is open.

Do someone knows where this session data saved?

Wharton is the end of a session?

    Someone automatically deletes the data?

    Thanks for help

    Susanne

    Hi Susanne,.

You use any third-party application to share two computer or Microsoft remote desktop sharing?

Ideally, when you connect two computers by using desktop sharing programs, the connection is trying to establish a secure connection and there will be no data transfer unless you try to discuss or to save all files.

If you use a third-party application sharing, you can communicate with the support of the application for more information.

Provide more information so that we can help you.

  • On Mac and Win7 desktop icons

I am new to Fusion, so still find things. I noticed that my Win7 install shows on his desk all my Mac desktop icons. This seems odd to me because most of the icons that I keep on the Mac desktop is not usable on Win7. Is it possible to control this? I think that Mac and Win7 desktop computers should be separated.

Disable mirroring in the settings of your virtual machine, desktop sharing.

One of the reasons to have icons on the desktop is if this isn't just icons but documents such as Word or PDF documents and that you have a viewer on each operating system.

  • AppSync with shared network Thinapps

A few questions about Appsync with shared network applications.

I have 5 Windows XP systems that install everything to run the thinapp (Office 2007 Std) from the network share. In the package.ini I put the thinapp to check an update every time it launches, do not know if it is better, only to set it there so I could control the start of the update. I created a new version of my thinapp with some modifications, including activation of Powerpoint, which was not initially enabled. I then pushed the new version in the directory specified in AppSyncURL in the package.ini and then ran the thinapp one of 5 systems. I looked at the updated thinapp (via the new file in the directory creation) but it seems to be stopped once the new files have been copied, I assumed it was because the other guests were linking the same thinapp, so I closed the thinapp on all 5 systems and reopened on one, after a few minutes that the update has been completed, including the activation of PowerPoint. When I ran the thinapp on other systems of all the new changes came with the exception of PowerPoint being activated. I guess that's because the thinreg update portion was only executed on the original system which began the update. My reasoning is correct? Would be the best way to solve this problem, configure something in a login script or a GPO to re-run thinreg necessary?

Next part of surpass push to use thinapp was to save space, we intend to use it with VDI images gold hopfully have a SAN reduced foot print as migrate us our users in general for physical machines to VMS. Currently, we don't have a policy that requires users to disconnect during the night, normally when you deploy updates from traditional applications a message is sent by the app said the world team to make sure and disconnect. While we still might do in the future with thinapp hoping updates be more transparent for the user. But based on the above test it looks that updates will not fully applied to a set until all users are out of this.

While this logic sence I want to just make sure I'm not missing something, is there a better way to update the shared applications? Or I'll better just install them locally on the machine, possilbly as part of a gold statue.

    Hi Roybfr,

I want to share my knowledge on App Sync with the same example with which you asked the query. I will answer your questions in 2 sections. One for the process of AppSync and other for VDI computers desktop and thinapps residing on them.

    Section of AppSync: -.

    1. If you have desktop Thiinapped 2 k 7 kept one a network share and the version update of office 2 k 7 (which has been configured to enable the PowerPoint) stored on the Web server.

    2. you have 5 office machines.

3 suppose that you launch the thinapp 2 k 7 on the desktop sharing network 1.

    4. once launch you the thinapp 2 k 7 Desktop 1, appsync process is launched and the .ase files are named and has started, updated on the network share.

    5. in the middle of the appsync process which began by launching the 2 k 7 packet on the network share, stop the appsync process by closing the exe launched from Office 1.

    6. now launch the 2 k 7 on the network share from office 2. Once you launch the office 2 k 7 2 office package, AppSync process is started from when he was arrested and not from the beginning.

    7. let all to update completely .ase files until they become the size of thinapped version updated, maintained on the web server.

    8. now do not revive the thinapped 2 k 7 2 office package.

    9. If you launch the thinapped 2 k 7 exe on the network share from office 3 you will get the message to update Appsync (that you defined in the file package.ini) and now the version update of office 2 k 7 will be launched. This means that now the network share has the version update of office 2 k 7.

    10. now, if you launch the office 2 k 7 on the network share Desktop 4 and 5, you will get the updated office version.

11 but to get the same version of update to office 1 to disconnect, and then start the 2 k 7 packet on the network share

12 office 2 stimulus package on the network share and you'll get the version update of office 2 k 7

    Conclusion: -.

    1. AppSync can be initiated by the launch of the thianpp on the network sharing of any of desktop computers

    2. once the AppSync is completed, the new version will be available (.ase will be converted into the updated version .exe) by raising the exe thinapp on the network share from the Office where the Appsync initiated or simply launch the exe thinapp by the remaining workstations where the thinapp on the network share was never launched.

    3. the configuration you made on the updated version is maintained on the web server will not pulled / available on the network share if the appsync is successfully completed.

    4. If you want a specific configuration to be part of your update to Thinapp (which is stored on the web server, and pulled on the network share), you must use the "SbMerge" utility to make the configurations as version stored on the web server to update the part of you.

    5. Thus, create the updated version of the Thinapp, check the necessary configurations, apply overwhelm and rebuild the updated version of the thinapp. Then copy it to the web server. And then start the process of AppSync.

My girlfriend has a HP Pavilion G7-1311nr computer laptop Laptop. Now his laptop is almost the same as mine. Except the serial number and the product are different. But I can use my recovery dvd on his laptop? cause when she ordered the recovery kit. It came with the first recovery disk. It came with the second and the third disc. Not the first disc. I have all of them. I'm not sure why HP did not include the first recovery disc in the package she ordered. This back in 2013.She still has a copy of the invoice.

I have known of some models of desktop sharing a common defined recovery if manufactured in the same neighborhood, but it's a longshot with your two laptops. There is a part number disks and check to see if it matches his record.

Some models are delivered with only two drives. Whole says disk 2 of 3 and 3/3?
