  I am developing an app for non touch devices with version 4.5 of departure and now will make the same application for devices supporting contact, so planned to use the Touchscreen.isSupported () - but it is available only from 4.7.   Hi DCwell1977, while they inspected the drivers of this model, it seems that this unit doesn't have drivers available for Windows 8.1. You can also visit this link and check the compatibility of this model to Windows 8.1. It's not necessarily you cannot upgrade to Windows 8.1, but we cannot guarantee that all the features of this unit will work.

  my touch screen doesn't work anymore.  don't know if due to the 8.1 update.  When I went through 10 hours online and HP diagnostics download driver included, computer does still no pen and touch detected on this computer.

  Hello, I just bought a new 107 KIRA, I think it has a touchscreen, but so far no touch screen feature works.

  Kira model supports different display screens.

  Some models like Kira 10-D support common-slab IPS with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 px and some models like Kira 107 support IPS 2.560 slab x 1,440 px with a touchscreen feature 10 fingers.

  In your case I recommend that you set the notebook back to factory settings. After this check if the touch screen is activated.

  I have a z20t-B-107. Beautiful machine, upgraded to win 10, all working very well - I had to download a new driver from Wacom to get the "left click" to work with the pen.

  I use it in tablet mode to scan a few data points on a map and sketching with pen. However, when I rest my hand on the screen it 'active' the touch screen and makes things go crazy. I really need to temporarily turn off the touch digitizer and have only the Wacom digitizer running, and if I can switch it switch somehow, that would be useful. Otherwise, I need to use the stylus in a very natural position to avoid touching the screen with my hand.

  I have a Samsung Galaxy Note, which uses the Wacom type digitizer - it does not seem to suffer from this, as soon as it detects the pen close to the screen it seems to cut off the touch part.

  I would be grateful for any help - I tried to search engines, but only, they seem to give results on the touch keys, and it's completely different...

  I use a Z20t too (but with Win8.1) and have the same problem. I decided to cut the full contact. It is not a good solution, but a good job with OneNote is only with the deactivation of the tactile feature possible.

  3. Select Device Manager
  4. Select Human Interface devices
  5. in the list, find the driver for the touch screen. This can be difficult, since on my tablet that they are all listed as "USB Input Device" and there are 3 of them. I found it in deactivating and then reactivating one at a time until the touchscreen unresponsive. You can also identify the touch screen by checking the properties | Details and get the "hardware ID", then do a search online to see what the device is. In my case, the touch screen has the ID USB/VID_0EEF & PID_7302.
  6. Once you know which is the touch screen, disable the driver and the touch screen should no longer work
  Enable this device to make the touch screen work again.

  I am facing a weird problem with the action of touchscreen (tap) Z5P in the top left of the Panel (the location of the (left arrow<-) or="" the="" (app="" menu="">

  1. after restarting, everything works fine

  2. after an hour or two, slippery (for example the head of facebook chat) is detected above this area, but leaving so the opening tap is not detected, same thing happens with any application (left arrow) or (the menu icon), even the (dos) parameters for example.
