  I currently have 1 HP Microserver with IP 192.168.0.10 that is on my home network which takes place in ESXi5 as the operating system.

  Then I have a separate network of the VM on the host with the IP addresses of 192.168.10.x. I have 2 x 2 Machines virtual ESXi Win Svr 2008 (DC & vCenter) and 1 WIn7.

  How, or even not at all, can set up a link to my VM network on ranges 192.168.10.x to my host's network?

  I currently have all advanced VM to my virtual domain as the default gateway on 192.168.10.1 controller.

  Am I missing something really obvious? I am new to VM and network (that you can probably find).

  Your default gateway 192.168.10.1 there 192.168.0.x network access? You can get it... or, you can add a second nic all virtual machines, to a portgroup on the same vSwitch as the management what IP vmkernel resides.

  Hoping someone can help with this question, here's my virtual machine configuration basis up to now:

  -Windows 2012 ADDS, DHCP, DNS server

  -Windows XP client

  The two guests use the network to host only VMNet1 and DHCP is disabled through work stations.

  The problem I have is that my Windows XP computer cannot get a 2012 server DHCP address and she comes back with the link-local address of 169.x.  If I configure my Windows XP machine with a static address on the same subnet as the two computers are able to communicate without problem, so I'm not sure where I'm wrong.  Wireshark shows the broadcast DHCPDiscover packet, but nothing is returned.

  These adapters have certain limits they can treat broadcast packets?  Or am I really missing something here?

  Did you check the configuration of your Windows Server 2012 DHCP server? The scope is active? The server is OK?

  It appears during the workstation installation 9, he placed vmnetdhcp and vmnetnat in c:\windows\syswow64 folder. The ESXi host is connected to my switch, which has the Windows 2008 R2 DC to my test network and my laptop management with VSphere branch above as well. I can ping host, mobile and ad server of each of the individual virtual servers and can ping and RDP for all 3 from other devices not on that host, but I cannot communicate between the three. I have Windows Firewall disabled on all three. I have no firewall, and all machines have an IP address in the 10.0.0.X range I deleted then recreated the only virtual switch on the host on which appear all 3. I've been VERY frustrated for the last 3 days on it. Why my virtual machine cannot talk to each other?

  When you have registered virtual machines in ESX you selected moved VM or Coiped VM? Go to editing parameters and watch the MAC addresses. My guess is that if you copied power (including the vmx files) then the MAC address is the same for all virtual machines. You can stop the machine and change for a MAC address mac address. You can also remove the network adapters, one of each, and then add the new network cards. Remember to reconfigure the IP addresses on the box and remove the ghost network maps after doing this.

  In my tests I couldn't use a host physical diskwith a Windows 7 without setting the disc 'offline '.
  But then you can set the diskette from Windows Startup 'offline '.

  Using Linux or 2003, you don't have this problem.
