  I suggest to uninstall the sound card in Device Manager and then reinstall it.

  Follow these steps:
  1. click on start and then type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press on enter.
  2. from the list of devices, expand sound, video and game controllers.
  3. right click on the sound card, and then click on uninstall.
  4 restart the computer.

  To the OP:

  Just go to the properties of the service you are trying to start, then select "this account".  Browse your computer and find the "Local Service" account  Clear the password so that it is empty and apply.  You will get a dialog box indicating that the account has been given to the connection as a good service.  Then start your service.  This should solve your problem.  I have seen this question many times and there are many, many reasons why it could have happened, but there is nothing to worry.

  I configured a service policy on the interface of our main switch facing our MPLS network. At the other end of the network MPLS is a remote site with Cisco phones deployed.   I apologize to this subject, my understanding of strict control was incorrect. After some tests, I have come up with the same results as you and wasn't able to configure both.   This error is thrown on the desktop because your qnx - air.swc is probably in the process of fusion as code instead of being tied to your project as external. The reason who need to be external is that it contains classes that exist in the execution of AIR in the Simulator and not in the AIR runtime on your desktop. The device classes use the custom air extensions we wrote to get the properties of the device.

  If you want just the operating system, you can also use the Capabilities.os, which is a standard API Flash Player and does not require the use of custom extensions.

  My guess on why it does not work on the device thus is that the qnx - air.swc is not defined externally. Return to externally set and run it in the Simulator.
