Differences and versions of firmware Tandberg 880 MXP

Hello

I'm a bit confused about the differences of the Tandberg 880 MXP device firmware.

My camera shows itself on the webGUI what follows:

Software version: E5.3 PAL

When I check the Cisco site, https://tools.cisco.com/SWIFT/LicensingUI/Quickstart#, I see for my device:

Dispatched current SW SW
B4.3 B4.3

Also when I check the key to Version shipped on the page of Cisco, it does not match the Option key pressed in the webGUI on the device.

Is any other firmware available for this device? I've heard of some issues of security vulnerability / like this:

If you're upgrading to F8 or below, you can contact TAC and steer them to the Security Council, with it, you can get the MXP F9.3.1 software for free without needing a service contract.

Thank you

Maarten

If it is running E5.3PAL, then it is likely, that this is one of the old 880 s classic and not the MXP.

The latest version of the software E-series is E5.3 that you're already running.

    Hello

Did someone familiar with reset password admin for this endpoint? I think the process is to take note of the option and the keys to the bandwidth and then hold on speakers in the front as the powers of the unit?

    Thank you!!

You can try the default password which is TANDBERG.  Note: it is case-sensitive, must be entered in uppercase letters.

  • The differences beetwen Oracle 10 g Release 2 AND version 3

    Hello
Could you give me links or just write about the differences between version 3 and have Oracle 10 g Release 2. I have some books to Oracle 10 g AS Release 2, and I don't know what information is incorrect with regard to version 3. I found this link http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32110_01/core.1013/b32196/whatsnew.htm#sthref7, but for example, Oracle 10 g AS version 3 does not require a metadata repository. So where can I find all the differences?

    Thanks awfully for help.

Application server 10R2 (10.1.2.0.2) includes products such as forms & States, discoverer, OID, Oracle Portal etc. These aren't in the Application Server 10R3, which was a single installation JEE JEE solutions-oriented.

Both versions will be desupported in December 2011, while I spent too much time on these versions. Go with Fusion Middleware 11g: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/index.htm

the tandberg first, or they can work without doing anything.

You really need to upgrade this MXP as latest version is F9.3.x

See this post for how to get a free upgrade from Cisco:

However, please note you can not move from 2.5 to 9 at once, see this post for the recommended upgrade path:

  • Sansa Clip freezes at startup and on the firmware update

After unplugging my video to my computer, it is hung on the screen "Connected".

I forced a reset by pressing the power switch it 10 seconds

He then restarted and hung on the Sansa screen

I followed the instructions given in these forums in order to download the update of the firmware, mount the Clip in MSC mode and install the firmware.  Unplug the Clip, it hangs at "Update Firmware in progress" screen.

I then re-mounted the Clip in MSC mode and deleted all the files of music and the update of the firmware.  After disconnection, he hooked again on the Sansa screen.  I then mounted in MSC mode and re-installed the update of the firmware.  He is now suspended again at the screen to update the firmware.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The following procedure restored the Clip, but requires access to a Windows operating system:

    1. Tower Mounting Clip in MSC mode off camera (now switch is in position 10 sec If necessary 'on'). Set the switch to position 'Hold '. While pressing the "Select" Center, plug it into the USB port on a Windows computer. Wait for Windows to recognize the device before you release the "Select" button

    2. format of the Clip Double click on 'My Computer' to open a window of the Explorer. You should now see the video listed as a reader. Right click on the video player icon and select "Format". Select "FAT32". Do not check the box "quick format". Format the drive.

    3. Finish you can now disconnect the Clip of the computer and it should behave as a Clip of the new out-of-the-box. If you wish, you can download Sansa Updater software from the web site of Sansa (Sansa > support > Clip > downloadsansa Firmware Updater) and run it to install the latest version of the firmware on your device.

  • Differences between versions of the WRT54G

    Hi all

What are the differences between the different versions of the WRT54G? for example, v1.0, v2.0, V3.0... V8.0, etc.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the explanation.

Earlier, I thought that it is for different version of firmware.

  • WRT54G (version 2) Firmware Version Question

    Hello

Beautiful room here. I'm glad that this facility exists.

I have the router WRT54G version 2. Finally, I upgraded the version of firmware years before Cisco Linksys bought.

A recent announcement by the people of Black Hat (treaties in this article of TechSpot) about their intention to publish a validation tool to exploit a vulnerability of DNS rebinding on a great many routers SOHO forced me to check for the latest update of firmware for my router.

The interesting thing is that my router's Web interface lists the current version of the firmware as 4.30.12, but the latest version of the downloadable firmware that I see listed on the support site is 4.21.1. I'm not very surprised by this apparent anomaly. If I remember correctly, that firmware version 4.30.12 download is a beta that was supposed to fix a problem connecting WiFi to a certain type. If this version of the firmware was still considered a beta at the time of the acquisition of Linksys by Cisco - or a 'stable' later firmware version incorporating the same or better fixes for the issues addressed by 4.30.12 that had been produced at that time-so maybe 4.30.12 was ruled out.

If you read the article of TechSpot and the associated table of preliminary vulnerability, test reports, you'll see that router WRT54G version 2 is not specifically listed. Version 3 of the router is listed as vulnerable, and version 5 of the router is not.

    So, my questions are:

Everyone here is aware of information indicating whether or not the problem of DNS Rebinding vulnerability affects the WRT54G version 2 with the last registered (4.21.1) router firmware version?

If so, does anyone know if yes or no Cisco plans to release an update for this old router?

If the router is vulnerable and will not be solved with a firmware update I'll probably have myself a new LInksys router which is not listed as vulnerable. (Believe me, I'm not leaving this thread to bash Linksys. This router ran like a train of 24 hours a day for years without a single hiccup that was not directly attributable to the problems of the ISP. For the price, it's one of the best purchases of equipment I've ever done calculation. And I have done this since the beginning of the 80s when I was using a CP/M system and an Apple / / e.)

If the 4.21.1 version firmware for WRT54G version 2 is not affected, I wonder if anyone knows if yes or no 'downgrading' of 4.30.12 to 4.21.1 is likely to lead to a failure of the router. (I'll probably try it anyway. If it brick the router I'll just go ahead and get a new one.)

BTW, I use this router with the ease of remote administration and UPnP off and strong admin password that is changed each week. (When I always used wireless I used WPA2 AES with strong password, but I am all wired now with the systems running Debian testing).

Forgive me for talking to myself. I decided to just go ahead and "downgrade" of the 4.30.12 firmware 4.21.1 version - just because I prefer to use a version of firmware known and supported for this material. The downgrade has gone well, so no worries about this.

I'll look for news on whether or not this version of the firmware on this particular router is vulnerable to the flaw in DNS rebinding and acts accordingly.

    Sorry for the noise.

  • Can you download OLDER versions of firmware site Web of Cisco?

    Hello

You just bought a Linksys E2000 to replace a golden oldie Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless-B.  Yep, Wireless-B, a little outdated.

Happy to say that the E2000 works very well and is a significant improvement.

Question: my E2000 has firmware version 1.0.03 (Sep 2010) installed.  I downloaded the latest version 1.0.04)is (Dec 2010), but not him have not yet installed.  Is it possible to download my CURRENT firmware version 1.0.03 on the Cisco site.   I'm sure that the latest version of the firmware is "new and improved", but just in case, I would like to know if it would be possible to download my current version as a "_code.bin" just in case I want to restore the file upgrade.

In other words, is there a 'Archives' section where you can download older versions of firmware?

A big thank you for any help you can provide.

    Marty

    Amarillo, Texas

I don't think they have an archive available to customers. I asked this before, and technicians had no knowledge of an archive. I think you'd have to get in touch with the developers of the firmware, but that would take a while.

  • Need help - camera not connected in Tandberg 6000 MXP

    Hello

After connection to the tandberg 6000 mxp codec HD camera, I get message camera not connected.

There is no speicial cable to this code? and what is the axis of the s-video on the codec that mark as "'primary' cam?

    Thanks in advance

    Shy

Camera cable aboard MXP is similar, but it does not work with 6000 MXP codecs. I assume that your cable is marked with C3000 (works only with Edsge and 3000 MXP codecs). You need the cable marked with C6000. I don't know the SKU of CISCO for this cable. It may help you reference TANDBERG:

    115420 camera HD t6000s cable, 2 m

    115421 camera HD t6000s cable, 5 m

    I hope this help you!

  • Tandberg 770 MXP power adapter

    Hi all

I have a few question for you guys.

I am aware that Tandberg 770 MXP is EOL and Tandberg was bought by Cisco.

Anyone know where I can get the power adapter?

    Please notify

    Best regards

    Titebiket

Because it is a product of end of LIFE, it is highly unlikely that you will find the exact replacement part.

Based on this discussion, you should be able to use only compatible power supplies of the same voltage and amperage similar.

  • Tandberg 3000 MXP question

    Hi Experts,

I have a client who has a Tandberg 3000 MXP, sometimes the TV screen does not start automatically when received a call. Video conference begins and unit works but the TV does not start and they can't see the other side. You need to restart the TV to make it work again. You have an idea to solve this problem?

More information here to answer your question.

The codec has the ability to say to display digital goto sleep or wake up through signalling between the display and the codec - if both negotiate properly.  Depends on the type of display used and configuration in the endpoint.

But you are not limited to the use of these compatible screens... and they could use ANY type of analog or digital display.

When the codec is not negotiating with the screen... when the display is on, off or in standby is depends on the configuration of the screen.

Without knowing anything about the display in use... There is little we can do to help because we don't know even what is the intended outcome.
