DISM restorehealth failed, error: 0x800f081f

A year ago, I installed 8.0 and upgrated to 8.1 Win Win. The system worked well until now where I realized that the Win Update identifies the necessary updates, but is not able to download the updates, and install them. After a few Minutes, I get an error of update.
So I tried following the entry in the forum the DISM 'Scanhealth' and the 'restorehealth' and the ther, I get an error 0x800f081f after 40%. My operating system is on the device 0 which is a Sandisk SSD 256Go.

The DISM log will resemble the following:

  • Need help to install Vista Ultimate x 64 SP1 - error 0x800F081F - standard corrections do not work

I have trouble getting Service Pack 1 installed on Windows Vista x 64 final.

Current issue: SP1 does not appear as an update, and I have not yet installed.  Windows Update tells me that I'm completely up to date.

History (memory, may be some errors):

    • Performed the new installation, including Vista Ultimate x 64 disk erasure (MSDN)
    • Updated to current with windows update
    • Installed Office 2007 Ultimate (MSDN) (don't know where update what happened)
    • Active Windows (could be a problem doing this after you install updates?)
    • Installed CPU usage, network, gadgets sidebar discs counter meter
    • Installed Live Family Safety
    • Installed Chrome
    • Installed Google Apps
    • Google Pack antivirus installed
    • Installed Google Earth
    • Attempted a manual installation of SP1 - fails with the error 0x800F081F
At the present time, I can't get a manual of installation of SP1 to work, and Windows Update tells me that I am up to date.  -> System control panel tells me I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate, but does not list all service packs.  He also confirmed that the x 64 edition is installed.
    Steps for debugging:
    • Installed the drivers for the sound card motherboard
    • A ran complete chkdsk on drive to repair bad sectors
    • Ran the system file checker - find corrupted files, but can't fix
    • Journal CBS does contain no [SF] cannot repair the entries
    • Installed continues to update the system tool - tool does eventually make a update facility - who settle whenever I run

A1. If Vista was preinstalled on the computer when you bought it and you use the OEM disks (or hidden restore partition) to reinstall Windows, any antivirus free trial which initially is preinstalled on the computer will be reinstalled, but not valid.

  • iPhone more outgoing 6s "Call Failed" error - network Airtel

Recently, I brought the iPhone 6 s more than the United States and use it in India Airtel network. Since the last 1 week or two, I guess that since the time he had an update iOS 9.2.1 I started to have this "Call Failed" error whenever I tried to make outgoing calls. This happens all the time, but sometimes only. When it happens that he does not make outgoing calls for at least an hour or more. Ultimately some how outgoing calls start working again on its own sometimes and sometimes it starts to work 10 minutes after the function "reset all settings". I checked with Airtel carrier several times and they have confirmed that no problem with the network. I put Airtel myself another SIM card in the iPhone, and even this sim did not work during down time. At the same time, I put my sim card into another Android phone, and it works perfectly without a sim card. This leads me to believe that there is a problem with the hardware/software phone itself and not any problem with the carrier. Anyone had any permanent resolution of these intermittent failures?

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

Restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

If these steps do not work, contact Apple and ask for help. Maybe it's a hardware problem.

You can also prove that it is a SATA interface error by testing two hard drives in a box USB or Firewire. If you can live without portability, then perhaps this is also an option to use the T500 in the future.

  • Vista SP2 Installation fails (error 800706BE Code) via Windows Update

I am running Windows Vista Business (32-bit) SP1 and I noticed that Vista SP2 is available for download by manually checking in Windows Update last night.  After having seen that it is a large download (more), I started the download, left my PC and left the House.  When I got home, my screensaver was away and when I attamped my password to disable the screen saver and see where I was in the process of updating, my password did not work.  Then I did a hard reboot but then could not connect under my admin user account.  I've then logged in as my wife (standard user - no password) and went to Windows Update where I noticed that the SP2 for Vista Installation fails (error 800706BE Code).  I spent most of last night and all today so far tried to solve this problem.  There are several problems here... When I click on "Install" in Windows Update, I get a message of "is not necessary: 1 update" (even when I look in the installed updates it says that the update failed).  If it is not necessary, then why is it listed as an important update that must be installed?  Endless loop... In addition, I'm not a password reset for my connection because I have a password saved on a flash drive.  Then I tried using all the older passwords that I remembered and none worked.  Shift caps lock was not on either.  I've logged in as my wife, went to the Microsoft Download page and eventually find the link to download the standalone version of SP2 Vsita, but after downloading the massive file, I didn't have the right to install it because I can not connect as an adminstator!

(sigh) Can someone please help with this?  Thank you

    Naveen,

Thank you very much for your suggestions!  Your suggestion of restarting, press F8 and choose "repair your computer" worked.  I was able to do a system restore and I chose a date where my old password was still in use (I had just been invited to change a few days before I tried to download Vista SP2).  In addition to losing my cookies and automatically complete IE8 - everything is back to normal.  I have not yet tried a 2nd try to SP2, and I'm very hesitant to do it now!

    Thank you once again!

  • Restore failed - error code = 0 x 241

I'm trying to fix Acer Aspire 5552-7803 friend and ended up having to order a set of recovery disc for $20. The problem is that when I try to launch the restore of the default factory, he charges through the first two recovery disks, then on the third, I get an error message that says "restore failed - error code = 0 x 241 (WIMApplyImage impossible to apply the image: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file.). A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that could be... "The rest is obscured by the box and you can't scroll to read.

I've read several posts that say they had the same problem, but have yet to find a real solution. I completely cleaned the disk and did a 'Clean' on diskpart with a Win7 repair disc. It is possible that the disc is damaged, but with the accounts that I have seen, I would not buy a new drive and then find out that the drive wasn't really the problem.

I could really use some suggestions. Help, please.

    Thank you

I think I finally found the problem. I tried to install an evaluation version of Windows 8 and got a slightly different, but the similar error message and google it. The first instance of the problem that I found was a solution, saying that the guy has discovered that he had a bad memory stick. I removed one and retried the recovery disks and it always failed. I swapped the memory stick and tried again, and now I'm almost finished with the full reload. I think that was the problem and I'm hopeful that we're back in business... Now to make shopping for memory.

    Kala

    Hello Mohan,

    ·         You did changes to the computer before the show?

These errors often occur if there are incorrect BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) settings.

Method 1: Check if the computer startup options are changed in the BIOS. You can set the hard drive as the first boot device. In addition, make sure that this option "Wake on LAN" or one similar to it is off.

Method 2: Load default BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) settings, and then restart the computer.

Important : Change/update BIOS can be a complicated process, and if an error occurs, your computer could be rendered inoperative. Be sure to observe the instructions of the manufacturer.

    Hello Patricia,

Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of responses of Micrsoft.

I don't know exactly the question that your question was separated from the previous thread.

What you ping? Another computer on your network? You are in a domain environment?
Are all the computers on your network, Windows Vista or Windows XP?

One thing, you can check to go in the registry.

    1. open the Start Menu > run and type regedit and press the Enter key

    2. navigate to the following location
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Lsa
    3. Locate the restrictanonymous key

    4. double-click on the key, set the value to 0 and press OK
    5. exit the registry and restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

If please reply back and let us know if this helps with your error.

    Thank you
