  Thanks for the advice, but it is not really relevant, there is no wifi comm errors.  My wireless access point is not part of the router and the network wifi, as well as my home ethernet network is inside the firewall.  The printer receives an IP address very well, I have a reserved for her on my dhcp server address (same as I do for my sky box, tv etc.).
