  Download the operating system for the carrier and use the Application Loader within the Desktop Manager software (that came with the box) and select Arabic with the language options (if it is an option).

  Alternatively you could install the operating system of an Arab company (is to delete the vendor.xml file), but this is not recommended.

  The operating system of software downloaded from the Blackberry site contains all of the files required to recharge the o/s.
  The Desktop Manager software is NOT necessary!

  Once downloaded and installed, follow these instructions:

  • Download the file from the OS from the website of your carrier to the PC then install it to the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
  • Go to c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  • Plug in BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the amount of data you need to back up and restore during the process. Once he did load the new OS, it will reboot (it may do it twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with a hourglass up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says "waiting for initialization." If, for any reason, you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply reconnect to the PC and run Loader.exe again and it should load the operating system on the device.

• Data merge encoding error with the Arabic text.

  Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any advice for the use of data with the Arabic text merge.

  I saved the text to Unicode.  It displays corectly in the TXT file.

  But when trying to use datamerge I get an error that says that some of them could not be encoded.  All my Arabic resembles numbers/letters/puctionation.

  (this is with the world ready paragraph composer on).

  In the comments on this page someone sugested using notepad ++ to convert the internal encoding UTF-8 WITHOUT BOM.

  I have not understant what this is, but I don't have the error message after doing this.

  My text is still incomprehensible, but now its symbols like this: o¨o§u «Ù...» UŠoª f rather than nubers/punctuation.

  Nobody knows what's goining on? or how I can fix this?

  It seems that ive got I had to combine this solution

  with what I was doing previously.

  Missed me this little milestone:

  Import Options box when you select the CSV file to tell InDesign what encoding it is saved in.

  EDIT: That's what I'm doing, incase anyone else has this problem:

  Save as unicode txt.  Make sure that under options adtional > web options > encoding is set to utf 8

  then, under import box Options when you select the CSV file to tell InDesign what encoding it saved in.

  Problem is, it is difficult to write in the Flash IDE because the numbers of "jump" on the wrong side of the word... And when compiled into a SWF file and displayed, it looks like this:

  I suspect you have the intention of the text to read as an Arabic reader normally would, from the right, so you must set the orientation of the paragraphs to be RTL. I'm not entirely sure of the exact way to do it, but I think that the addition of:

  format. Direction = Direction.RTL;

  factory.paragraphFormat = format;

  will do.

• addons page displays white text on white background

  I'm legally blind. It became a never-ending struggle to get Firefox to display the colors correctly. I use the black contrast theme. and Firefox is configured to display white text on black background. Recently, I needed to adjust the color for unvisited links. I could not because the colors of the palette are all black. I found a solution here to switch the State of (I think) browwser.treference.inconfig. This gave me the screen options of old back and it worked. Now, I can't go back because the screen addons and about: config white text on white background.

  Last post on this topic-, it is a known bug, #1207084, which is marked as resolved.

  In Final Cut Pro 7, you can use editing > find command to search on used clips in the sequence. See if there is an equivalent command in FCE. Unfortunately, I can't determine that at first hand on my system. (In addition, if you are still interested whereas FCP X, there the so-called Timeline index which provides quick access to a list of markers, clips, effects, etc..)

• Firefox does not display a text on some pages.

  I noticed that on some pages, Firefox does not display some texts. I have the latest version of Firefox installed and my flash and java are updated. The text appears correctly on Chrome and IE. Please see my example in the screenshots of the stevenson.edu Web page. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem or if there is some kind of plugin need me to see some content? Thank you.

  The site appears to be using an old 1.2.0 version of MooTools which is not compatible with curent releases Firefox.

  I am designing a new interface for a pulse on LabView duplicator and I wanted to display text on the front before running the program. I managed to create text boxes that appear after the code begins to run, but I was wondering if there was a way to display these text boxes before the code runs.

  Maybe I'm misunderstanding / simplistic, but if you have a string indicator (text box - as you call it) you can simply type in what you want the initial value of the being, and then right click and select 'data operations.  Then choose "Use current default".

  I followed the steps you mentioned, & also, I added a line UseUnicode = TRUE at the end of the configuration LabVIEW LabVIEW.ini file located in C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\LabVIEW.

  Then I read the hindi text from a file & I posted it in a string indicator. Also, right-click on the indicator chain & enable Force Unicode text. So that the texts do not display correctly as it is in the file.

• Computer will display the text but not the graphics

  I have a computer that is running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit that will display the text, but will not be graphic print (what I get is several pages of garbled text and what looks like Morse code).

  The problem is the same with a HP Officejet Pro 6230 or an Officejet Pro 8100.

  The problem occurs if I am connected with a domain users account or the local administrator account.

  The problem occurs using the re-discovery of HP network port monitor or the standard TCP/IP port.

  Two other computers connected to the printer and also running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, you do not have the problem.

  Further investigation of this issue today, I learned that probably, printing problems don't were not due to the computer or printer, but a bad pass that the computer is plugged into.   I don't know if anyone can us sat down with this, but Arabic fonts on 10.3 are so bad. It was perfect with the old version 10.2 and 10.2.1. The fronts text looks old Android fronts. Is there a way to change this on look and feel like the old 10.2 10.3?

  I took these concerns to our development team and hope that there will be a change in the Arabic text in future versions of our software. I do not speak or write in Arabic, but can appreciate your concerns.

  1. you have Hindi fonts installed on the computer?

  2. what security software is installed on the computer?

  3. What is the brand and model of the computer?

  4. have you installed the suite Microsoft Office?

  Try these steps and check the status.

  1 click the Windows 'Start' button and select 'Control Panel '.

  2 - Select "Uninstall a program" under the heading programs.

  3 - Click the program the list entry to the version of Microsoft Office is installed and select the button 'change '.

  4 - Select "Add or remove components," and then click "Next" or "continue".

  5 - Click the like next to 'Office shared components' to expand the category, choose expand the category of the "International support".

  6 - click on "Police Hindi" or "Universal Police" according to the version of Office, and then click "run from my computer.

  7 - click on "continue" to complete the installation of the police. Insert the office disc if you are prompted. Restart the computer.

  Once this is done, open a new word document and copy the HTML page which is in Hindi language and then try to print.
