Do error scan from my all-in-one HP Laserjet Professional M1213nf 22.

I get 22 scanner error when I try to copy a page using the copier function. After that, I have to restart my printer to disappear this error. I also checked the version of firmware by print config report and it says the datecode frimware is 20130211 and the version of the software is 20121108. I also used the HP Print and Scan doctor to correct the error. But nothing seems to work for me. So please help me...

I understand that you found a 22 scanner error.

Perform a power reset.

Press the power button to turn on the printer.

With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.

Wait at least 30 seconds. Reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer.

Press the power button to turn on the printer.

1 open the HP utility and select your device.
    2. based on Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
    3. click on the tab scan tasks.
    4. Select the affected shortcut and click on change... (or double-click on the shortcut).
    5. in the section of scanning from an HP device, click the blue triangle or button view details to expand the menu.
    6. in the expanded menu now, open the drop-down next to the Mode
    7. now select the color option, and then click OK to save the changes. The next scanned using this workflow is displayed in color.

  • Scanning with HP all-in-one printer with fax and scan Windows in Windows 8

When you install a printer driver in Windows 8, you can scan from your computer without having to install any additional software to HP. This is particularly useful if you want to or not does not require the full functionality software or if your printer does not have a driver to scan for Windows 8.

Windows Fax and Scan uses a Microsoft Service called WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) to capture an image from the scanner and allow you to save without the need for additional drivers.

In addition, Windows Fax and Scan cannot scan to PDF.

Learn how to analyze with your all-in-one printer from HP using Windows Fax and Scan.

If you have problems using Windows Fax and scan with Windows 8 make a post below. I hope this helps anyone looking for an alternative method of scanning in Windows 8.

  • Scanning in an all in one

My AIO has an ADF that will contain only 35 pages. So, if I want to keep in a single file documents more than 35 pages (IE... 57 pages) how they can all be scanned and stored in the file of the asme. I heard of merging of files but have no idea of what is or defeinately do not know how to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi tazawoo,

I understand that you have some questions analysis about your all in one HP printer. I'd love to help you with your questions!

According to what specific printer you have will determine exactly what your software looks like, but I'll assume you have a newer printer that uses our latest software at the moment. If I'm incorrect, please reply back with your HP printer model number .

For this, I would recommend open on your PC HP printer Assistant (should be an icon of a printer with the name of below) and run the scan from there. With your printer ADF being able to hold 35 pages, what you want to do is put about 35 pages into your ADF since your document pages 57 and let them finish the scan. Once they have finished, place the other 22 sheets in the ADF and then on your computer screen where it shows you the scanned pages, you should see two buttons near the lower left corner. You want to rely on one that looks like a piece of paper with the symbol on it. It will then continue to feed pages and save it all in a single document in the end.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

  • Problems scanning with c6150 all in one and Windows 8

I have a new touchsmart from HP running Windows 8. I have an old printer c6150 all in one. I downloaded and installed the latest software and drivers for 64-bit Windows 8.

I feel, copy and fax without problems. But when I try to scan, it freezes. It starts to scan and then just stops responding. I have to use Task Manager to quit the program. I tried the scan doctor and he says that there is a driver problem and it cannot communicate with the printer.

    Help, please.

I solved the problem. The USB cable from the printer was not quite long enough to reach the back of my all in one computer, so I bought a USB extension cable. That works fine for normal printing, but apparently only works well for scanning.

Once I connected the printer directly to the USB port on the computer, the scan function worked normally.

    Unfortunately, what is happening:

-From my iPad, the app AiO says that my printer is not compatible with the application!

-From my 2 Android devices, the application of all-in-one remote works perfectly, except the scan function as nothing happens (well, when pressing the button 'Preview' or 'Analysis' in the Scan section, I see a button 'Cancel' for 0.1 second and I'm back to this section of the analysis)

  • Errors in recovery of all-in-one 23-b320 0xe0ef001e and 0 x 80070057 to install new

I'm really stuck.  I just got a refurbished all-in-one 23-b320 with Windows 8 pre loaded.  Everything worked fine for the first 4 hours.  I applied all the patches from MS and then started the Windows 8.1 update.  23% completed, the hung process.  After 16 hours of no progress, I turned off the desktop computer.  Enter into recovery mode via the Bios, I expected to be able to recover.  The recovery process has failed.

My next attempt was to have the recovery discs, I've created since a new b320-23 who was also preloaded with Windows 8, but I had updated to Windows 8. 1. the recovery discs are the Windows 8 of his recovery partition.  I used the Recovery Manager to create the floppy disks and Windows has reported that they have been created successfully and verified.  Yes, I have 2 identical models of the all-in-one - 2 parents and it's easier when they both the same pc.  I thought I could use one for the other difficulty.

The problem is the recovery discs to throw an error halfway recovery - 0xe0ef001e.

After looking through the forums, I started with a 8.1 Windows installation disc, entered mode to 'Fix the computer', troubleshooting, command-line and use own diskpart and convert a GPT.  Then I went back on the discs of recovery and got the same error.

Then I thought that maybe I could install Windows 8.1 charges against this record since I've only wiped out all partitions with the clean command and had put in place a new set of partitions.  Once installed, then perhaps the recovery disks would work.  Well, I can get the Windows 8.1 installation to work either.  When I select the partition to install on, he pointed out that "were leaving the disk selected for installation are not in the recommended order.  I proceed and error - 0 x 80070057.

I deleted the partitions with diskpart own and then tried to allow installation to.  Same result.  When the windows setup program creates the partitions, it throws the same error on the order of the partition and the same error when I say "still".

I've seen mention of other partitioning tools but have not been able to use all (like kill disk) because they seem to start in DOS and for some reason I can't seem the all-in-one to start in as simple as back soming.  The only things I was able to boot from (with Secure Boot off) are:

    (1) the recovery disks

    (2) disk Windows Installer of 8.1

    (3) Ubuntu 14.04

All of these are TPG bootable images.  BIOS do not find anything that is not gpt, so anything with the old MBR does not appear in the list of bootable devices.  I tried several different disks from older systems, and none are recognized.

Note: I discover that I had not enabled support legacy of boot in the bios to have activated it year am now able to boot DOS.  I'll try some of the other tools suggested as a drive to kill.

I ran through all the diagnostics BIOS and no error found in one of these tests.

Any suggestions or is this time now to ship to HP for repair or replace?

Resolved by reinstalling the HDD to the SATA cable and replace the SATA cable to the motherboard.  The cable for the connection to the motherboard was a little loose in the socket.  Once this has been done and the computer back together, the recovery disks works beautifully and restored the image.

  • How can I convert a text scanned a C5180 all in one for use in Word?

I recently bought a new IMAC and spin the Mountain Lion.  When I tried to scan a document using the software that came with my C5180 all in one that I received a message that I have to use the Apple software to the place.  I followed the instructions on the HP site and succeeded to the digitization of the document.  My C5180 comes with OCR software that allowed me to convert the image into a text file.  When I scan text by using the Apple software I can create a number of different output - PDF, TIFF, PNG formats - but I can't edit in Word (or something else I think).  Does anyone know a solution to this problem before you spend $199 for Adobe Pro X?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Capacity Unfortuinately OCR is more provided by the software solution provided for Mountain Lion.

In addition, be aware that Adobe Pro will give you not directly from the scanning program - Adobe applications require compatible devices Twain, Mac OS drivers provided only with the support of the ICA-interface.

You will need to use any 3rd party for this purpose OCR program, using Read Iris as an example will be more convinience because it support the ICA compatible devices.

There might be additional OCR solutions, I don't personally know this.

    Kind regards

If you are using Snow Leopard or Lion and you have the HP software before Snow Leopard (either from a CD not marked as compatible with 10.6 or you recently upgraded to Snow Leopard or Lion and had the software HP on your Mac before you upgrade - even if you made a standard from the old software uninstaller or installed new software on top of it) , you must uninstall the software by using the "scrubber":

Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
    Click on continue
Highlight your device in the left pane
    Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Cmd keys on the keyboard at the same time as you click on uninstall< this="" is="" the="" scrubber="" option,="" there="" is="" no="" button="" labeled="">
There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
Click on continue and let it finish

    Restart your Mac

    Now reset the printing system:

    -Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

  • Major problems in scanning with c410a all-in-one...

In courses run a Windows 8.1 high-end desktop system with a huge amount of memory and have experienced a tremendous amount of problems printing & scanning with my c410a. I have run the maintenance on this pc daily cleaning Cache, Virus scan, all and then some, the PC is a horse race except for printing and scanning...

This Scanner/printer works very slowly, more slowly, and then it did on my old XP system for 10 years.

Sometimes in the middle of the analysis, it stops and freezes by me to close the centre of solutions through the Manager of task or at best its not scan more then 2 or 3 elements software b4 of the scanner hangs. I tried everything in the forums I've seen, unplug the power cord of the c410a, restart, etc... Everything that...

I ran the "HP Print and Scan Doctor" and sometimes it seems to work, allowing me to sweep slowly a point or two b4 it crashes again. Howeverwhen running the Scan Doctor it especially crashes when it gets to the part "scan Windows wia" of its efforts. These poor printing and scanning capabilities on the PC or faster (a factor) that I've ever used is unacceptable.

Surely you experts can troubleshoot a very frustrated guy from HP?

Thank you all for your help, especially the HP Tech Support staff... Although I just bought a laptop $1100.00 at HP with a support package for Smartfriend Tech that I don't try to use it for this problem because this c410 is on my desk which is not an HP.  Just for the record I never got my HP HP mini work said they could fix it by phone, but wanted at least $60.00 $ to do. I never had luck with my HP stuff, but I hope that this will not be the case with my new HP laptop... I had heard that HP had better...

The problem with my c410a seems to be resolved and I can make the dpi / send changes in 10 seconds approximately. Slow but manageable compared to the 3-30 minutes, he took earlier today.  How I solved it on my own without ANY HP

Support Tech or HP Forum was to completely delete all HP software from my desktop system and installation of the HP Wizard and to install All THE OF BLOATWARE ITS on my system. I had previously been excluding the HP Photo creations, Bing toolbar and software HP Customer Participation however magically or predictable when I allowed all of HP's Bloatware to be installed it worked the works. With the exception of the Bing toolbar that I got an error for which says it's not compatible with IE 11, it's funny I think.

Only, I posted this comment on the risk that it may help other people having the same problem as it may seem, with HP, you have a better chance to get help from people who are not HP or only if you pay HP to help. While I would expect HP to delete this message who knows maybe they figure this is the best message in the month.

I've finally updated for Leopard (10.5) to Snow Leopard (10.6), and now whenever I try to scan, I get the error, "Sorry, scanner could not be initialized. (Scanner not found.) »

I was able to scan until I upgraded to, but now I can't. I can still print and copy very well and he seems not to have been updated since Snow Leopard came out. Will there be one for me to scan, or is it a different problem?

    Hello

May you always have the HP Scan Pro application in the Hewlett-Packard folder or have you updated the software and that the analysis of HP?

If you still see the HP Scan Pro persists it means your software is not compatible with Snow Leopard.

Uninstall the software by following the HP uninstaller program.

Restart your Mac, download and install the software below:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=MP-77264-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=219&product=1141647&sw_lang=

Finally, run the software update and try scanning using HP Scan.

For any question try scanning without using software HP as shown below and then check for the difference:
