This is a recent development, but I can not print anything in Firefox. Printing open normally, it's going to the right printer that works... I can print other browsers and applications. It acts like it is in queue and then a printing error occurs and it will not be printed. I closed and reopened Firefox, open in safe mode, cleaned cache/history/cookies and restarted twice. Nothing makes no difference. Also tried printing from the preview before print that had the same result. I can print all other browsers and applications without problem, so it must be within Firefox.

Recently, I replaced my lights on my P 5740 printer ink cartridge while trying once photograpgh print [6 x 4] & have had nothing more than headaches since.
The cyan color does not print ink levels indicate that it is used. I cleaned the heads of ink at level 3. I have replaced the ink cartridge & still have the same problem and now the alignment is unsuccessful.
I'm challenged to begin with technology & this challenge is both frustrating and disappointing that I do not understand what I did right.
Any suggestions before I have packing the printer & return to Staples?

Because the printer is only a couple of months I suggest to HP customer care and ask about a replacement printer. Most likely, it is a matter of ink system, since you've already tried another cartridge with the same results. Check the model number and the form to receive a file number for faster assistance.

"Laserjet 1022n Windows Update", causing problems printing: print jobs do not print

A few days ago I installed upgrading Windows Laserjet 1022n on my Windows 7 64 bit and since then I can not print a page normally: the page does not print. I use a TCP/IP network port.
I made several attempts to resolve this problem:
-uninstall the printer driver and install it again (I tried the latest version on the HP site and an older one that worked perfectly before)
-update the firmware of the printer to the latest version on the HP site.
When I put the printer in pause and start the print job, you can see in the list. Resumption of the printer, printing starts on the printer but you see that the job remains in the list, flashes again and again. The printer keeps printing the same page.
I don't know what I can do to solve this problem. There is no way to uninstall the update of the HP Laserjet 1022n software because it does not appear in the list of installed programs (course list is also op updates from windows updates).
I have same problem printing to the same printer from another PC Windows 7 (with the same windows update done)
But I have no problem printing with my laptop on an other network printers.
Is there someone who has the same problem and how to solve?

Just uncheck the chekbox "enable two-way communication" on the "Ports" tab of the properties of the printer and it works normally again!

I had to move my printers due to a collapse of the motherboard. I moved my HP DeskJet 710C from a computer (under XP SP3, through LPT1:, where he was part of a network home and works very well) to another computer, also under XP SP3 on the same network, but who doesn't have a printer port. How can I remove 'Invalid printer' names in my list of installed printers. It seems in any simple way.

I have found no useful HP support. They seem to only want to buy a new printer, but if I can't install my old I'll be able to install a new one? If you have performed all the steps in the document above and the problem persists, not one of HPs, my personal recommendation is to use the solution put forward in the next video. What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

Since you just bought the printer you need to know, HP printers usually have a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase, you can check the warranty using the following if you wish; Guarantee cheque.
