dock Onelink cable length

Hello world

I think to clean my office with a dock to onelink. Because I intend to hide the dock under the table, I would like to know, how long the onelink cable is. I couldn't find any info about this on the web.

Thank you

from memory, it was around 40 to 60 cm.

I have a ThinkPad T560 (20EV000YIX) with among Pro Dock (4X10E52944) and 2 external monitors connected via DVI - I and DisplayPort ports (with VGA adapter).

The problem is that both monitors randomly every few minutes became black and reappear after approx. 1 second.

I've already updated the T560 and OneLink drivers but no result.

    Thank you.

  • X 1 carbon 20 has 7 - unable to detect the monitor on the dock Onelink DisplayPort

Hi, I recently brought a pro Onelink dock for my carbon X 1 so I can connect to my Acer XB270HU monitor when I'm at my desk. But when I try to connect using the Displayport on the platform I'm unable to connect and windows seem to be unabe to see Webs. I tried 3 different cables and the thing came. I am able to connect to the other monitors using DVI from the dock of Onelink simply not Displayport.

Well, I noticed there was a new drivers and firmware for the dock relesed recently so I thought I'd give this proplem another shot.

I can now confirm that with the v2.30.00 of v11015 and the firmware of the driver everything works perfectly.

    Dear all

I intend to use 8xNI 9235 module SG cDAQ-9172 chassis.

    Can someone advice me

    1. What is the length of cable max gauge constraint that can be supported. I have a rough estimate that it can run up to 100 meters all about

    2. If you use Signal Express 2.5 or 3.0, 1000samples/sec/channel would be possible

    3. the question whether the voltage is software adjustable

    1. Longer cables lead to a degraded signal gain.  The cables themselves depend on the maximum length of your cables.  See page 13 of the manual 9245 for a discussion.  Note that longer cables are also more sensitive to noise.  Even if you can tolerate the loss of income, you may not be able to tolerate the noise.  This will depend on your cables, how they are connected and armoured and the amount of electrical noise in the region.
    2. 64 channels at 1 kHz each should be possible with SignalExpress 2.5 or 3.0.  Version 3.0 should work better, because there has been some improvements of County of grand canal plus 2.5 (and we have continued to improve for 3.5!).
    3. The excitement is a constant value (2.0V ± 1%).  It cannot be changed. See page 28 of the manual for the specifications of the excitement.

  • C40 Camera control maximum length of cable RJ45 to d - SUB

    Hello

What is the maximum cable length for the control of camera on a Cisco C40 port?

    Thank you

    Kyle

According to the PrecisionHDMC camera Guide, page 17, the camera cables that usually come with codecs can be 5, 6.5, or up to 20 meters.  Anything more than 5 meters requires the camera powered by the power of the camera and not the codec using the camera control cable itself.

I have a few installs custom where the camera control cable is well up to 75-100 feet.  Just follow the outputs pins on the same page as above to make your own cable and don't forget to use the POWER-CAM-V = power supply to power the device.

  • Cannot connect by Satellite Pro projector if more than 3-4 m cable

We have several laptops - and we have never had any problems that they might know an external projector.
The length of the cable is normally around 10 m.

Our Toshiba Satellite Pro laptops can only connect to an external projector if the cable length is less than 3 to 4 meters.

    What shall we do?

    Hello

    > Our Toshiba Satellite Pro laptops can only connect to an external projector if the cable length is less than 3 to 4 meters.
It seems that the video signal is too weak and he cannot reach the appliance connected to the end of the cable.

I found this info useful on this page that explains this behavior:

+ A normal PC, notebook or tablet PC VGA signal is not designed to operate on long cable runs. +
+ You can find only one kind of PC or laptop will work with a long cable to projector, and another type of PC or laptop may not work. +
+ However, this does not mean that the second computer is down. +

    _Solution: _
The VGA signal must be amplified before it can be sent to the bottom of a long cable. These symptoms are all indicative of weak signal problems (or bad wiring).
You should always use an amplifier VGA (active), Terminal VGA box (active) or a switching VGA (active) unit when you use along the VGA cables

I found the problem (s), even if I am always left with a few questions.

During this process, I have disabled the firewall, but that did not help. However, I noticed 'tweaks' accessed via the tab 'Advanced' in 'Microsoft Firewall' which looked like, they must be checked in order to access the internet. I checked these and reintroduced the firewall. After I got things working, I unchecked them and things still worked so I obviously don't understand what these parameters.

    The solution:

    (1) I have to go straight from the modem cable to the computer. I can't have a cable modem, router wireless, computer, even if using hard wire, and even if this same configuration works with another computer. Also, I can't use a cable length to go from modem to the computer. So, it seems to have had a problem of cable length. Power problem? Only connected to this computer devices are the mouse, the keyboard and the Ethernet. Would not this be fixed with an upgrade of the power supply? Or is it due to the quality of the Ethernet hardware on the motherboard? It's a Dell Vostro 200.

    (2) in back and forth between configurations while following the problem, you must think to unplug the modem to reset between each configuration. You may have stumbled upon the solution, otherwise he's not shot. Also, I unplugged the cable from the modem when you reset data cable - do not know if it was necessary. I wanted to limit the degrees of freedom that I had a lot, as it was.

  • N2000 and N3000 stacking cables

    Hello

    I have a small question.

0, 5 m, stacking of cables (N2000 and N3000 series) enough to connect the switches that are 2 RU independently of each other?

The plan is to have two panels of brewing between switches (24 p, 48p 2x24p, 48p, switch panel, switch panel,... and so on) and I'm not sure if 0, 5 m battery cables will be sufficient or do I go with cables of 1 m... on the pictures it looks like connectors are long enough and I'm not sure if 0.5 refers to the length of cable length of connectors witch included or not.

    Kind regards

    Jakub

    Jakub

If the switches you are trying to stack are only 2RU apart, then all the support cables should work, including 0.5 m.  With the help of a cable management system, stacking more cables such as 3 m can allow routing around the patch panel ports.

  • PowerConnect 6248 P do not stack with 12 m cable

I try to superimpose 2 PCT6248P via the cx - 4 12 m stacking cable and it does not work. the two starts as master 1/7 and do not see each other, even if it is started before the other when I use the stacking of 1 m cx-4 cables, they work perfectly, even on reboot if I replace the cable of 1 m with 12 m stacking cable they remain in the configuration of the battery until they have restarted. the two run the firmware version 3.3.10.3 I changed the cables to check that they are not the issue. Help?

Maximum cable length that can be used for stacking is 3 meters.

  • Mixture of Cat5 and Cat6 LAN cable

What happens when you mix the cat5 and cat6 cables? For example from the desktop for cat5 (100 Mbit/s) patch panel and from the switch to the cat6 patch panel that supports Gbps. It will create problems?

    Nope.

Your connection will be held at the common denominator - for example, if you have a part of the cable which is Cat5 and Cat6 - the rest is cable length behaves as if it had * everything * Cat5.

If your workstations will get a Cat5 grade connection to 100 Mbit/s bit matter what you hang on the switch.

    See you soon.

  • Simulation of cable

Hey all. I'm trying to get a line of cable - watching him work. I found the post of kglad last year, but it doesn't seem to be a general solution (using Flash 8; there incompatibilities?). In particular, when catenaryApprox is passed to mouse x and ymouse for the first pair and a constant for the second pair, the parabola becomes horizontal when the mouse is near a line abs (*(t-a) b k), where k seems to be an exponential function of the cable 'length' and a and b are the coordinates of the constant pair for the second point.

Above this line, all behaves as it should. Below this line, the parable reverses; close to this line, the parable goes horizontal. I suspect that it is a result of the approximations used, but I have no evidence of that. Someone at - it is possible to duplicate these results? I had problems in the past with the corrupted installations of Flash Player.

Curious monkey, kglad, where these equations come from it? I see that you find the point of intersection, but whence derivatives?

I'm trying to expand the equations for crtlX and crtlY, so I can understand why it explodes; I also try to find a quick way to correct the inversion of the coordinate y kglad code is attached. I found several good references to

Any help is appreciated. Thank you very much.

Okay, so I had to play around with this and I came up with the following solution. He made no claim that either a mathematical accuracy, but it seems all right and even looks like it 'is short of cord. Thanks a lot for your time, kglad. Simply attach the code attached to an empty clip; It generates a curve as the location of the item to the location of the mouse pointer.

EDIT: Looking at, I noticed that it does not have much to play nice with the stratification system. Maybe that's a problem; He could not. I have not tested.
