Does my motherboard support usb 3.0?

I have an Acer Aspire M3920 desktop computer.

Motherboard of this computer supports usb 3.0?

I was thinking of buying a new cabinet with a USB 3.0 in the front of the cabinet, because I lack for this option. My Acer original box have today 10 port usb 2.0, but without usb 3.0.

Edit:

found this in the Manual:

"MOTHERBOARD KIT ASERENA FOR M3.
ACER INTEL H67 INTEL 82579V LOGO
ΜATX W/O LF 1394 W/O W/E/S USB3.0
SHIELD. "

That means it is not supported usb 3.0?

only USB 2.0

  • NI-VISA 5.3 driver Wizard does not support USB 3.0 devices

    Hi all

It seems that NI-VISA 5.3 does not support USB 3.0 devices. When I try to use the driver Wizard to create a driver for a USB 3.0 device, I get the error "ERROR-1073807178: device descriptor error - value not valid bMaxPacketSize0 (must be set to 8, 16, 32, or 64 bytes). I noticed that the unit has been giving wMaxPacketSize0 of 512 (2 ^ 9). But the driver Wizard treats the value 9. So I think that Assistant driver does not support USB 3.0 devices. If someone could confirm this?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Jackie

    Hello Jackie,.

Unfortunately, USB 3.0 is not officially supported in VISA 5.3 when you use VISA Driver Wizard.

A non-official solution is to work around the "information in the descriptor' by selecting 'Other' in the list of devices. You will need to manually enter the 'USB manufacturer ID (vendor ID)' and 'type USB (Product ID) Code. You will then need to find your driver in Windows Device Manager, right click and select "update driver software". This, however, is not a workaround solution guaranteed as NI-VISA 5.3 is not officially compatible USB 3.0.

  • HP 8300: My motherboard supports 95w TDP?

    Hi people.

Does anyone know the specs of my motherboard? (The HP Elite 8300).

I would like to know if it supports a 95w TDP.

The HP Elite 8300 has a card mother "Hewlett-Packard 3396' and is currently mounted with an i7-3770 (which has a 77 w TDP). I want to set up an i7-2600 (which has a TDP of 95w) - yes I know, I'm crazy.

In any case, I was wondering if the motherboard supports 95w TDP. Is the same.

If she does not support, is it possible to change the voltage down or disable a few hearts with this motherboard?

    Thank you.

(PS - there is no work around or alternative, I can only do what is required above, there is no other CPU I can put in, and no other motherboard, I can get...)

(EDIT - update question I hope to be a little clearer).

In the unlikely case where someone else wants to do the same thing as me, I can confirm that the MB supports the TDP 95w - Support HP has managed to let me know that this is the case.

In all cases, the configuration of the CPU LGA1155 was the same and would have taken (toed), but may have caused a problem with the Mo under load (if drawn enough CPU power protruding the MB supported TDP). This can always be tempered through voltage, but this particular BIOS does not natively allow it - Windows allows to drop the maximum load if it is a problem for you, and other tools of Windows may be able to manipulate your BIOS.

Insists on CPU, works well, very well.

  • Made my thread of fire of 800 motherboard support? can I put?

Your laptop does not natively support FireWire 800. You can buy a FireWire 800 ExpressCard54 card that can be installed to the location theExpressCard54, and this solution should allow you to use FireWire 800 devices to up to this speed.

  • Support USB and APC software

I have a few questions I'm having a hard time finding answers to.

Am all initially, am I right to say ESXi does not support USB?  If so, it benefits in the paid ESX?

Secondly, does anyone know if there is a version of APC Powerchute Nework Shutdown for ESXi?  Or does anyone have any experience with it?  Is it really necessary to stop the ESXi host graciously, or can I use PCNS to stop guests, then the host left to die?  Are there other options to stop the ESXi host without using the NCP?

    Thank you.

And it is a position of APC to a thread in the newgroup VIMA

    Good afternoon
PowerChute Network Shutdown for VMware ESXi will be available in 2009.
It is a fully compatible with VIMA and ESXi version.

My understanding is that the APC software runs inside VIMA and stop guests and the ESXi host graciously.  For some reason, I thought the software was due to this quarter, but the quote above is not specific.

    Hope this helps

'your transmitter does not offer support for this card' has anyone else had this problem? Or went to their bank? I went to my Bank and talked to my banker, and she told me that they were on a waiting list to get on Apple pay! Could this be why it does not work? It then I hate my Bank so badly! Yes - which explains why you currently cannot add the map.

Apple pencil comes with its own map of woman to woman, so you can use a standard lightning cable USb and charger to charge

Not sure there is no 3rd party yet.

  • Satellite Z830 - I wonder if the motherboard supports more than 6 GB of memory

    Hey, I bought a Toshiba Satellite Z830-10w. It's a fine ultrabook.
I wonder if the motherboard supports more than 6 GB of ddr ram.

Have some of you tried it with a block of 8 GB of RAM Regand flemming

    > I wonder if the motherboard supports more than 6 GB of ddr ram.

The chipset is responsible for the RAM
Therefore, know if the chipset would support the 6 GB of RAM.

Z830-10w supports the Intel HM65 Express Mobile Chipset and it should support the 8 GB of RAM

To my knowledge the unit is equipped with a 2 GB internal RAM that is NOT removable.
You can update ONLY one slot
So one slot can handle 4 GB of RAM, and in this case the 6 GB of RAM are supported.

  • Canvio Plus 2.5 "1 TB external HARD drive does not work with USB 3.0

I've had this drive for about a month.

    I am on Windows 7

I can only operate by connecting to USB 2.0 ports. It is then visible in 'My Computer'.

If I connect to USB 3.0, it turns on the case but does not appear in 'My Computer'.

I tried it on all my USB ports 3.0 - up on one and two in the back of my case.

I checked my BIOS and USB 3.0 is enabled.

I tried to follow the suggestions in the user manual, but the drive does not appear in the management of so connected devices on USB 3.0, but it does when connected in USB 2.0.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

As much as I know the Windows 7 system requires installation of additional USB 3.0 driver.

Many laptops and computers use USB 3.0 driver that was released by Intel... it is because of Intel chipset...

I guess that USB 3.0 is already installed, but probably you need to update the driver at least to the newest version...

  • DreamColor LP2480zx does not recognize the USB for calibration

    Hello

I have a DreamColor LP2480zx, which does not recognize the USB connection to the computer during calibration.  I have my eye HP connected through this monitor, so I know the connection and the cable is good and mouse, keyboard.  My setup is like this:

Reference Dell 690 running 64 bit + Windows XP

    DreamColor LP2480zx

    Apple Cinema Display 23 "

I bought the DreamColor used, and in all other respects, it seems to work very well.  The original owner didn't have it calibrated within a certain time, but said that having had no problem with the previous calibration.  I installed the last APS (version 2.0) and updated to the latest firmware.  These updates produces no change in recognition USB problem.

The interesting thing is, I was able to calibrate the Apple Cinema Display, using the same configuration of connection (mouse, keyboard, and HP eye connected to the computer via the LP2480zx) APS was able to see the USB connection and this very well calibrated monitor.

I had trouble with this problem for a few days.  I've looked around quite a bit online and found a few others who have this same problem, but I did not yet find someone who can point out a solution.  If anyone has had this same problem, or has heard of results that correct it, please let me know, because it's very frustrating.

    Thanks for any help

    Clay

An update to my previous post, I realized a work around for this problem.

Apparently, this problem has to do with the Dreamcolor screen and/or software APS do not like working with 64 bit systems.  I'm not saying that it is always the case, but I saw the other posts on this problem on 64-bit systems, and I spoke with two other people personally who told me that they also had the same problem, try to calibrate its Dreamcolor monitor when it was attached to a 64-bit system.  HP does not seem to be concerned about this problem, because they do not even recognize its existence, but since I'm far from being the first to report this problem, he's obviously not a one-time problem.

My solution was this: I had connect the monitor to a regular running XP 32 bit system.  After I did, I could re - calibrate the monitor without the problem of USB connection.  This isn't a very good solution because not everyone has access to several machines, running different operating systems.  But it's a work around, and it worked for me.

Hope this helps other people who have this same problem with their Dreamcolor monitors hooked to their 64-bit systems.

    Clay

PS- I posted this as resolved, only because I was able to calibrate my monitor.  It's not really solved the problem, but it gets the monitor working again.  Maybe HP will address this problem in the future, but I'm not holding my breath.
