Double configuration band EA6500 with network gateway

I recently bought the EA6500 to replace an old router. I went through the Setup process and were able to connect all the currencies I wanted to-PC, printers, televisions, games, phones and tablets. They have all see and connect to the INternet through the router. My problem - they do not see each other. When I pull the network on my PC it sees only the router and the Internet. When I look at the list of devices on the Smart Wi - Fi, all devices are there. My ISP is Cox Cable, my laptops are a Lenovo on Windows 7 and an ASUS on Windows 10.

Should what settings I change my PC sees the printer?

Thanks for your help.

By chance the guest network is enabled? If yes maybe printers connected to it. Disable the network of comments and see if printers turn off linr. Or look at the printers and see if they are on the same subnet. All on the same network should be with an ip of 192.168.1.x address only the last set of numbers must be different.

However my router uses one or the other. Is it possible to configure the router to provide two bands at the same time? Thank you

Lol the WRT320N is a single radio. It is not simultaneous dual-band/dual radio. You can use the 2.4 GHz band or 5 GHz range, but not both at the same time.

  • BEFW11S4 configured as network gateway

I have a local network my ISP between several PCs connected to it and a printer's existing compatible network using CAT 5 connection to the router. I would like to printer connection to the wireless LAN and want to use my BEFW11S4 as the 'bridge' to the LAN, can I configure this device as a "network bridge" and if yes how can I do that?

No it's not possible to do this work of router as a network bridge by using the Linksys firmware on it. Maybe you can try the firmware of 3rd party like DD - WRT, who have the opportunity to make the router as a network gateway.  But make sure that during the download of the DD - WRT one firmware on your router, you follow the proper procedure, otherwise it will damage your router.

  • If you use network storage, configure ASM disks with external redundancy groups

    Hi Experts,

If you use network storage, configure ASM disks with external redundancy groups. Don't use groups of Oracle ASM failure. Oracle failure groups consume cycles additional CPU and can run in unpredictable ways after suffering from a disk failure. When you use external redundancy, disk failure are transparent to the database and do consume no additional database CPU cycle, because it is discharged on storage processors.

    This does not mean

    • RAID 1 + 0 for diskgroup + REDO1
    • RAID 1 + 0 for diskgroup + REDO2
    • RAID 5 for diskgroup + DATA
    • RAID 5 for diskgroup + FRA

Is this one suggested, the recommended best practices for oracle on VMWARE?

How to configure a VM with multiple network cards to see Agent?

We can archive this requirement by configuring the subnet used view Agent.

The subnet determines which view address of Network Agent provides the server instance to connect to view for the client protocol connections. The view on VM officer has more than one NIC

    Follow the procedure below:

on a display Agent installed VM,

    * Recording of VM session.

    * RUN--> type regedit or type regedit.exe at the command prompt

    * Create a registry entry to configure the subnet.

    For example: is HKLM\Software\VMware, Inc. \VMware VDM\Node Manager\subnet = n.n.n.n/m type - REG_SZ.

In this example, n.n.n.n is the TCP/IP subnet, and m is the number of bits in the subnet mask.

  • MAC filter list giving problems on EA6500 with bridge

    Hello

    installed a router EA6500 and WUMC710 bridge.

I tried using the MAC filter option and included all my wireless devices, including the WUMC710 bridges.  The MAC filter works great for wireless computers and smart phones.

It also works for bridges, the bridge is accessible from the network and can be opened for installation.  However, all devices connected to the bridge are considered to be wireless devices.  No, problem, can live with that.  For example, included the MAC addresses of these devices (Media Player, desktop,...).

Even when I've included these devices, attached to bridges, they cannot access the network or accessed via the network.  For some reason, the router seems to make a difference between wireless devices, directly attached to the router and devices are connected to the WUMC710 bridge.

When I do not use the MAC filter, the devices work properly.

With my old router / bridge configuration, I never knew that the devices connected to the bridge where the as wireless devices.

Someone at - it experience with this problem?  Is this a problem with the gateway or router?

MAC addresses that you enter for the devices connected on the WUMC710 should be the LAN mac addresses. You must also include the mac address of the WUMC710 instead of just the mac address of LAN wireless. It is the way in which the bridge is designed to work if you have the mac address filtering is enabled in the router. • Problems with networking small office... !!!

    Greetings... !!!

I need assistance with configuring internbet for my small office.

I was using a Wifi Dlink router connected to my connection broadband (PPPOE). Everything worked well unless I plan to add a system to my network.
I was running out of ports and therefore decided to add a new switch.
now, I have about 6 PC connected to the switch with a straight cable and a crossover switch cable connects to a router.
I have configured the router to connect to the internet with the gateway like 192.168.0.1
I used the following configuration with my desktop clients
    IP address: 192.168.0.100
    Subnet: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway: 192.168.0.1
    Preferred DNS: 192.168.0.1

However, I am not able to share the internet connection on the other PC.

    Please help its critics.

I solved the problem by myself. All connections are correct, just the router should be reset to zero again.

When I turn on the computer of gateway, the machine starts and the initial window logo starts and runs for about five seconds.  Then the screen goes black instead of blue and stays black for about 10 seconds.  A 'Power SAVE MODE' appears.  The machine is dead to all orders.  I have to stop by pressing the off button.  I can turn back and the F10 key to get in Mode safe mode with networking.

I tried to reinstall Windows XP original but it would erase my files.  I tried to restore the last good configuration also knowledge.  That did not work.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then

It will be possible to configure my VCSC with the VCSe after the configuration of the areas?

For the record, it is only for the objective test.

    > Then, practically there is no as such risk, and my client can use the public IP address on VCSe

Cisco highly recommend VCS-E deploy under the DMZ but it's true, too, many customers deploy VCS - E on public network directly.

Please visit https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2154738?tstart=150 for more information security VCS.

Next version of the plan to be supported VCS X7.2 software build - in the characteristic basic firewall, which allows configuration to allow/deny list based on the IP / port / protocol which should contribute to better security level or even VCS-E deployment on the public network directly.

    > So, I'll ask my client just buy a public IP address, that's all, and we are ready to go?

A public IP will demand on VCS Expressway, VCS control can be use the NAT address glow (IE share internet access of the network of offices).

You must also SRV DNS management (if small deployment probably better to use the external DNS service, there are a lot of company provide a service the two service also responsible DNS hosting and as free service).

HI - hope someone can help me with this.

I'm currently learning a MCITP module, and to do this, I use VMWare as well as some installations of Server 2008.

The book advises to use the following network settings.

    SERVER01

    IP: 10.0.0.11

    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

    Default gateway: 10.0.0.1

    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

    Default gateway: 10.0.0.1

Now, the problem I have is when I put the settings for this network, the servers are unable to access the internet.  I understand why this happens, because they are on a different subnet completely to my host network.  Whose details are (including virtual networks)

If I use the network bridged in Virtual Machines, then they can access files on my network and the internet is fine, however, I would like to use network settings if possible recommended book.

Is it possible to do by customizing virtual network cards?  What is the correct way to do it?  Is it possible to map my default gateway for hosts (192.168.1.254) will also be solved through 10.0.0.1?

Feel free to talk to me as I am a beginner, happy for pointers.

    See you soon

We will give you an example for a virtual configuration MS AD:

Configuration of default MS of laboratory:

    SERVER01 (DC, DHCP, DNS)

    -IP: 10.0.0.11

    -Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

-Default gateway: 10.0.0.1 (should be changed to 10.0.0.2)

    -Preferred DNS Server: 10.0.0.11

    BRANCHSERVER (Member Server)

    -IP: 10.0.0.12

    -Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

-Default gateway: 10.0.0.1 (should be changed to 10.0.0.2)

    -Server DNS preferred 10.0.0.11

In this case, I would setup the virtual network like this:

-Configure the range of IP NAT to be 10.0.0.0 subnet 255.255.255.0

-Disable the DHCP (as SERVER01 is the DHCP server)

-Once you apply the settings, the IP of the gateway of the NAT settings will change to 10.0.0.2 and the IP address on the host VMnet8 will change to 10.0.0.1

To communicate with the internet, you must:

-Configure the IP of the gateway above as the default gateway for your virtual machines

-Configure DNS forwarding to the above gateway IP address in the SERVER01 DNS configuration

  • How can I configure the order of networks wifi on my iPhone 6?

I was browsing the Internet and looking for throughout my general settings but I'm not able to find a way to configure the order of networks wifi on my phone, as I can with my MacBook Air (via Network Preferences > advanced > tab Wi - fi). I had to do a reset to the factory on my router settings and now my iPhone automatically connects to another wifi network in the building which is distant; and, as a result, poor reception. He will also choose my device Chromecast before my own router, so I have to go and manually choose my router every time.

Is my only option to "forget this network" for the device Chromecast and the other network wifi. Therefore, to move my router plus high in the list (and then add those two later, put further down in the hierarchy list), or y at - it a simple way to just change the order? Thanks for the help.

  • double configuration map

Hi guys, I have a Mac Pro 2008 8 core 2.8ghz 32 gb of ram running a 1 to RAID 0 El Captian a 2600XT (APPLE) and a HD5870 (not APPLE).  My question is how do these cards function? I want a double configuration monitor, but I also want the start screen, so I can trouble shoot. If I put a tft one card and the other tft to another, how will it happen? Photoshop will run better on the screen with the best card? Sorry, but used to SLi in windows. Any help or advice on this would be very useful.

    Thank you

Only one card flashed Mac will display a splash screen. Looks like the HD5870 is not a card flashed to Mac.

Some functions/effects in Photoshop can use a graphics card for the treatment and thus accelerate this function.

The 2600XT is not supported I think and by the following

the HD5670 won't help much if any in CS4 and later versions

2600 XT can support two monitors by itself

  • Internet access only in safe mode with network! Help!

I can access the internet and open a Web page in SafeMode with network. When I try to open a Web page in normal mode, I can't. I looked at the diagonisic and it says that my firewall or something is not allowed my HTTP port 80 and HTTPS 443 port and port 21 FTP to open or access. I went into my settings of firewall and turned all these, but I have not yet been able to get access to the internet.  HELP PLEASE?

    Hello

    (1) remember you to make changes to the computer before this problem?

    (2) that you get error messages when you access internet in normal mode?

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable the antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: If the method above does not work, you can put the computer in the boot and check.
