  Hi, I'm sorry if I am double-posting. Because so many topics do not have descriptive subjects I gave up the search.

  I bought a pair of A3 - A10 for my children and they packed with games and videos. The videos are all works well in other facilities here at home while they are ok.

  It's a mixture of .mkv and .avi files. They all play on the machines, but the problem is that only some of them have sounds. It's the same on the two tablets. Anyone know anything on this subject? Is this a compatibility problem or is it a problem to update or not?

  Well, since some videos work I tell myself that it is a software compatibility problem, so I downloaded an alternative player and of course, it works very well.

  Download drivers

  Visit the manufacturer's Web site and select your computer model (this is usually done in the Support section). You should be able to download drivers for your model. Download the driver (s) and follow the instructions to install - every computer is different, so I can't give you exact directions. You can also try to use Windows Update to get drivers - it is located in the start menu.

  When you try to view videos FB, I can hear the sound but can't see a black or green screen.  I have usually no trouble watching youtube videos.  I called HP about this issue a couple of months, but the fix was temporary, and I don't really remember what they were doing.  I am not very computer, in order to obtain a detailed help is very appreciated.  I called HP again today, but has not had time to be waiting for an hour, so I hung up.  I know that I might have to call back them at some point, but thought I would try this before you do.  Thanks a lot for all the help in advance...

  Jeni4, welcome to the forum.

  The first thing I would try is updated Adobe Flash Player.  An outdated version can cause these symptoms.  If this does not work, I suggest to contact Facebook customer service for assistance.  I don't think it's a hardware problem.  They know best their program and should be able to help.

• Recorded video appearing differently - image format?

  I use Premiere Elements for about a year and move to the EP 14 in March.  I still feel like a novice and cannot explain it clearly.  I hope my video attached.  I had no problem with PE until this last week.  What I see on my screen when I'm editing in PE, isn't what makes its appearance in my final video output.  If I put all images on my second piece, the final video shows these images with black lines on the sides, even if it appears in PE.   I've never had this problem before.  What has changed?  Or what I am doing wrong?   Since it's really hard for me to explain it, I share a video of the final video: what means MK NEW2 - YouTube

  Its a little bit of everything.

  Your export settings are in high definition, while the project settings are in standard def. where the strange appearance.

  I would put up a widescreen DV project. Turn off the power of the scale to the size of the image in the preferences.

  All manually adjust and export to dv wide screen or widescreen dvd.

  You can try the usuals of media player which peuvent help, they take no time to try, such as:

  Try a new installation of the Flash plug-in as follows.

  First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Flash Player Uninstaller.

  Once the download is complete, close all the browser windows, open your downloads folder and run the program uninstaller.  Once done, restart the laptop.

  Then (unless you already have it), download and install Firefox , then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You can deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.

  Close all browser windows before you run the installer of Flash.

  Start Firefox and see if the videos etc. play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same link Adobe Flash above to get a command prompt to install the Flash component.  Once completed, restart Internet Explorer.

Updated my Nvidia video card and it installed firefox plugin for WMP.  I can't get a video image, but get the sound when you try to play a dvd or the downloaded video. Not sure what to try next? Should I just remove WMp 11 and redownload it? Suggetions?

  Generally, this problem should be solved by installing the video codec. In my view, re - install the video codec should solve the problem.

  Also, make sure the file format you are trying to play if it is supported by WMP11 or not.

  You can also try to reduce hardware acceleration:
  1. click on start in the lower left corner of Windows Vista.
  2. click on Control Panel, click appearance and personalization, click personalization, click display settings and then click Advanced settings.
  3. click on the Troubleshooting tab, and then click on change settings.

  Note: The settings will be disabled if the graphics card driver does not support disabling hardware acceleration.

  4. move the hardware acceleration slider until it is one notch to the right of None. It is the basis of acceleration.
  5. click OK twice, and then close the window.

  Change hardware acceleration
  You can try to change the hardware acceleration in the middle and check (you can try another level too.)
  a. right click on a space empty on the desktop.
  b. go to the resolution of the screen.
  c. click Advanced settings, and then click the "troubleshooting."
  d. set the hardware acceleration in the middle. (here you'll get the only option your video card sound support).

  a. you can also check that Windows is up-to-date to check updates for your hardware.
  You can also run the difficulty below that diagnoses and identify codecs that can cause windows to become unstable or stop responding.
