driver [ideapad y530] win xp bluetooth problem

Welcome to all,

Recently I bought lenovo y530. I managed to get rid of vista and install xp. Everything went smoothly until the installation of bluetooth, downloaded driver from lenovo support Web page seems to have a bug or smt. I can't install it. (corrupted file error) Tried downloading twice and still the same error. Can anyone provide a suitable driver, please

eeKyy

BTW. Sorry for my English

I found a solution 4 me, probably not the best, but it seems 2 work...

as there have not been any CD or dvd provided by lenovo, there was a partition container:

* Repair Sytem software

* OneKey Recovery Software

* Vista drivers

In the folder of vista drivers, there is a folder named "13.Bluetooth" containing the bluetooth drivers and software for windows vista. Installation only works for versions of vista, but there is a "Win32" subfolder (installation it does not work for me there again, it seems that for the 32 vista versions) containing another folder named 'bouzham '. There should be a file "DPInst.exe" and by the execution of it, you should be able to install the bluetooth drivers. If this isn't the case, follow these steps:

-selected bluetooth device in Device Manager (of course there was no driver not installed, but nevertheless you should see, marked in yellow, if you pass on your wireless devices, time, manually and with the Fn + F5 keys)

-Right-click on it in the context menu, select 'update driver... '. "(or install driver, I don't remember, but it should be two th)

-in the first window, select "install from a list or specific location".

-in the second window and then select "Search for the best driver in these locations" and check "include this location in the search" and navigate to the folder "bouzham" mentioned previously (... \13.Bluetooth\Win32\brcm), and then click ok, and then to have the drivers installed...

hope this works for you too...

  • HP pavilion g6 bluetooth problem

    Hello.

    I have hp pavilion 2211et g6

    I installed win 8.1. and installed all the drivers.

    But I can not activate bluetooth device. Wi - fi device does not work correctly.

    In the list of devices, a device is "unknown device". Perhaps this bluetooth device? When I using win 7, bluetooth was working.

    Help me please.

    Thank you.

    @okeks

    This unknown device is actually for the HP ProtectSmart hard drive Protection and not your Bluetooth. Try to do a Hard Reset, then check your device manager to see if anything for the Bluetooth comes. How long have you had the laptop for? It does seem like a hardware problem. If you had it for less then a year, then you are still in warranty, and I recommend that you call HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 North America or visit this link outside of North America.

    @laideyinka

    Thank you for joining the HP Forums! Regarding your question, yes your model has Bluetooth. Here is a document from HP on the use of Bluetooth in Windows 8 devices. It will show you how to turn on and connect to a Bluetooth device.

  • Qosmio X 770-119 - N2230 driver installed but does not, Bluetooth uninstalled.

    It is a very strange problem.

    After a reinstall of the Toshiba N2230 WiFi driver while the investigation into a problem connecting WiFi (in uninstalling and reinstalling in Device Manager), I find now that the WiFi card is totally disabled, although in the Device Manager the device is ' installed and working properly "and lists the driver. Toggle the WiFi turned off/turned on key has no effect.

    Then I reinstalled the Intel driver of the Web from Toshiba for the 870 X site (which blocks, but you can run it from the temporary folder that it creates) the result was Bluetooth uninstalled and now is an "unknown device" and refuses to install at all. If I try to manually move the driver it says that the driver is not for this device?

    I also tried the own Intel drivers specifically for Windows 10 without success. Unfortunately, I did not know what system restore was disabled so I can't roll back, which I think would have fixed this problem.

    The portable computer is upgraded to Windows 10, this is the first time that I had problems with the WiFi since it has been upgraded.

    Does anyone have an idea why this has happened... and maybe a fix? I don't think that there is no fault with the map, this seems to be a driver problem.

    Update. Borrowed a USB (TP - Link Archer T2U) adapter, disabled the internal adapter in Device Manager and installed the TP-Link. Result is the same, the device is listed on the device as a manager working digitally signed drivers properly, but the adapter is not enabled.

    There is no software VPN on the laptop, I tried to disable the antivirus, run sfc scannow and off just in case where the driver signing. But in vain.

    Errmmm... Help?

  • HP P6110F desktop PC: win 10 update problem caused by the integrated audio system

    I have a problem of Windows 10 with a HP Pavilion - PC Office HP P6110F, 64-bit, 6 GB.  The motherboard is an IPIBL-LB/BENICIA-GL8E/G33/HP. The upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 went ok but after the last reboot, the system would crash immediately with the message "system_thread_exception_not_handled. Windows should restart and it repeats. I replaced the NVIDIA driver to the latest version of the driver for the video card GeForce 8400GS, which is supposed to work with Win 10 (v341.74). The problem continues. Eventually, I discovered that if I disabled the integrated audio system then the problem disappears. The integrated audio card is an ALC888S Audio integrated Realtek HD Audio Manager, so I downloaded the latest driver from Realtek and installed. The same problem. I then decided to try the generic audio driver for Windows. The same problem. The only way I can run 10 win on this PC is to completely disable the audio adapter. Then, everything works fine (except for the audio of course). Has anyone go through this? Is there a solution before buying a sound card for a 6 year old PC?

    BlueScreenView to watch mini dump.  Problem caused by stdriver64.sys... This traced to SoundTap NCH software.  Uninstalled SoundTap.  Problem solved.  The version of Win 7 of SoundTap is apparently not what you want in Windows 10.  There is a version more recent SoundTap which may (or not) has solved this problem.

  • IdeaPad Y530 wireless wifi is turned off then on battery

    I have a new Ideapad Y530 Intel 5100 wifi wireless network card. It works fine when I am connected to an electrical outlet, but when I am on battery it loses connection Wireless after about half an hour of use. When I check the network card, it shows that it is disabled. I'm trying to enable him, but she remains disabled, I can't operate unless I restart the computer. I've done so far that has not fixed it problem:

    1. I checked the power management settings in the device for the network card Manager and you have unchecked the box "allow the computer to turn off the device to save power".

    2. I already uninstalled Readycomm since I had problems with it before

    3. I also affect roaming aggressiveness 1.

    Can someone direct me on how to keep network to get wireless card disabled when I am on battery?

    In addition, once I lose the connection Wireless because the network card is disabled, Windows Vista network settings are really slow to come for me to check my network connection and settings, never had this problem with XP. System seems to hang for several minutes before I can get into the network and sharing Center.

    Thank you.

    I think I've figured this out. I disabled and then uninstalled the power management Lenovo that at first seem to solve the problem but didn't. I knew that it was something to do with power management, so I checked my settings and it was set to energy saving. When I changed to balanced remained turned on the wireless network adapter and I have not lost my network connection. I checked power options advanced for the adapter in symmetric mode and energy-saving wireless and found that Power Saver if it had set for the Maximum energy savings while only balanced if it had set for maximum Performance. The setting for maximum energy savings, it is this that kept disable the wireless card with after several minutes, I changed it to the following configuration, low energy and my without thread remains active and I don't lose my network connection. So for anyone else having problems with the loss of their wireless connection, try to check your power management settings.

  • replacing a drive d under win 7

    http://i.imgur.com/vFtuCXc.PNG

    It is the disk image management of the hard drives in their current form.

    I tried to replace the D drive with another, larger, by car.

    Obviously, the new disk 1 - D Volume - drive does not have some vital system information copied to that contains the old disk Disk 0 - Volume E - and the system does not start without the drive E (old drive D) connected.

    How can I get the system starts with the old drive D removed?

    Why the operating system progresses vital information of starting on a D drive at all?

    Can I make the system so that it can start regardless of the State of the D drive?

    Win 7 Home premium, Service Pack1, Intel (r) core i 7 CPU, 860-2.8 GHz

    Thank you, all.

    My problem was answered by another thread.  Thanks to Milo.

    I'm having a hard time imagine why he would never have a default configuration for the distributed operating system info on two separate drives.  I'm sure that this has happened when I bought the second disc and had the tecs to the shop install it for me 4 or 5 years ago.

    I followed the procedure exactly and am back in business with all the information of starting on the C drive.

  • 10 IOS leading to the Bluetooth problem

    Before download IOS 10, I've never known a Bluetooth problem when using my Ford truck.

    Now, when I get a call, the caller does not hear me and I can't hear the caller. If I have my phone in hand and I change the Bluetooth audio to the speaker of the iPhone or handheld and then change it back to my truck, it works very well.

    When I call my truck, using Bluetooth, all parties can hear one another, but incoming calls only on me.

    I tried to reset the network settings, non-couplage coupling phone/truck and restart the phone. Restarting seems to work for the next incoming call, and then it starts again.

    Any help would be great. I received an incoming call on my phone about 10 minutes before you download the update of IOS. The following call (update to the post), the problem is presented.

    Thank you.

  • [IdeaPad y530] RAM

    If I can exchange my ddr2 with ddr3 memory modules in ideapad y530?

    I'm really sorry to mislead you. I did research not DDR3 enough to give an educated response. It is not backward compatible with DDR2 DDR3 slot. DDR2 has actually 200 pins while DDR3 has 204 pins. I double checked on my Y530 just to be safe, and he concluded that you will not be able to upgrade to DDR3 modules.
