  Please excuse my bad English,

  I just bought the Z10t A 13V PT 141, with W8.1. This computer works fine on W8, but I want to install W10. I already tried 3 times but each time, the cursor (with the touch pad or mouse) is lagging behind, each movement is jerky and works very well. I tried to see if it was a driver problem and downloaded new drivers from Toshiba for the W10.

  When I'm with W8, drivers are correctly updated...

  So I think that the cursor problem is due to this driver problem (I hope so, but I'm not sure). What is the solution? I'M alone with this problem?

  EXACTLY the same problem here with my uograded Portege Z10t-A-140 to WIN 10.
  I also took the same steps and encountered the same problems and no solution.
  I find Toshiba after sale customer VERY INEFFECTIVE and disappointing, because it seems no way to get a support PROFESSIONAL from Toshiba on this issue (or any other for that matter).
  Note that I absolutely do not consider helping other users on a forum or self-help a form of professional support at all!
  -> Not happy with Toshiba!

• Peripheral Audio USB-Mulit-channel has a driver problem and PnP device problem.

  I do computer scientist parallel with my Qosmio F750, but I am unable to run CUDA database test, called "bandwidthTest.exe". It returns the following error:

  I did some research on this problem, and everyone agreed that the driver of my screen should be updated. I already 290 driver version, but the latest version is 301,24. Why can't just install the NVidia site Web of NVidia drivers as I do with all my other computers?

  What can I do to fix this? I don't want the certified driver for Toshiba... I want just a standard NVidia driver.

  With computers, you mean laptops or desktops? I put t know where to work but I guess in your company or school where you work is THIS Department. Contact the people who work there and I hope they can help you with the explanation why you can't use the NVIDIA drivers.

  There is big difference between desktops and laptops. Desktop graphics cards are supported by the manufacturers of graphics directly, but on mobile units are mobile manufacturers.
  There are several reasons for this.

• Vista Home Prem - problems since installation on 26 August updated - USB problems and everything deleted before the update restore points

  I have a Dell XPS 430 quad-processor. Receipt of the August 26 as update automatic updates. Since the computer was restarted after autoupdates, I have problems. He seems to find all my data restore point on the recovery D: drive, but Windows is not seeing them.  I should also mention, usb-wise, given that these updates have been applied, my Canon digital camera is not recognized when I hang it in one of the USB ports.

  Don't know what to do at this point. If I stay on the port on my computer using the KVM switch, my PC at home works well. Unfortunately, it is not realistic that I need to do my job in two laptops that are also connected to the switch.

  I'm tempted to just delete all the updates that have been installed on 8/26 to see if that helps - esp KB973879 I read on this patch causing a lot of problems with other computers.  Another thing that I have not tried is to use the restore from a command prompt application.

  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  my friend bought a Toshiba Satellite c670d-11r in Germany on a catalogue (Otto to be precise) with Windows 7 Home Premium installed on it.

  After a few months he brought to a computer store and a service in the city, he lives to do a fresh install of Windows. A day ago he came to visit me and complained about how slow it was and asked me to install Windows again and that's what I was doing.

  After installing that I asked him about the CD of drivers he has no idea where he is or if he even had one so I downloaded all the drivers on the site and installed on her laptop except the display driver.

  In regards to the HARD drive clicking noise:
  It is nothing unusual can happen with some kind of discs hard I have a few hard drives (internal and external) of two hard drives produce a rattling sometimes noise, but the drive HARD running and working properly so I guess that its ok but nevertheless if possible, back up the data always

  Regarding the ATI driver:
  The laptop belongs to the PSC4AE series.
  Choose the series C670D PSC4AE in driver download Toshiba form European page pilot would show you the driver compatible v8.812.2.2.

  You must download and unzip the package first.
  Now you should see the file TCA0056800E.exe.
  This file must be decompressed too

  Now, go to Device Manager and select the graphics card.
  Here to choose install driver then the manual installation procedure. Now point to the folder where you have unzipped the display driver.
  AFAIK driver for Win 64 bit files are placed in the driver-> display folder
  Usually the Windows operating system must pick up the right files to install the driver

  Hello, I have been using Avira anti-virus on my computer for the past two years with no problems.  I run a scan on my computer every day and noticed problems with it a few days ago.  The analysis would be about 21% when he would stop scanning and freeze my computer.  The RAM would be also be maxed out at 100%, and I need to restart the computer manually.  When I ran the scan in safe mode, it worked fine, but then continued to not work when the computer is not in safe mode.  I would also get a security alert Windows telling me that Windows did not antivirus software on this computer.  I tried to do a system restore which goes back to the day before the problem started to happen with the scan, but I still have the same problem.  I tried to uninstall the program again, but I get the message: Setup could not determine feature control file, or was not able to read it properly the.
