  What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

  If you want to reinstall Windows, the XP Pro TYPE must match! So, if your license (as indicated by the COA sticker) is for the OEM version of XP Pro, then the key on your COA sticker will not work unless the CD is a generic OEM XP Pro installation CD. SO, if it is a commercial or a Volume License version, it won't work.

  Also, you say that this PC has been "renovated". Therefore, guess what is currently on this subject!

  The person who sold this PC is obliged to provide you with the means to restore the PC to its original state; you paid for it!

  OK im a little new to how computers work so sorry if it's really dumbed down in the way that I ask the question. for a while I get the blue screen on my computer every time that I stop/restart my computer. It happens then, or when I disconnect my controller ps3 usb port.   I understand that it shows my video card in need of update, but I had this problem before even update video card. I understand that I need to update my computer but the problem is when I go to update and it restarts, it hangs and when restarts until... He forgets the update so it's a tiny cycle...   It's all driver problems called "locked pages.  This means a driver (gut feeling it's your Symantec) has not properly freed from his memory.

  I would like to remove and replace Symantec with MSE at LEAST TO TEST

  Symantec is a common cause of BSOD.  I remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials at LEAST FOR TESTER

• 2 Lenovo's Yoga, stuck on the login screen. Need help!

  My Lenovo Yoga 2 has some very weird problems that prevents me from using it. Here is a list of issues I noticed:

  -When I hover over the power icon, there is no option to restart, shutdown or standby. This only happens randomly.

  -I don't have internet connection. A red 'x' is on the connection icon. I'm not able to put it in airplane mode either.

  -Unable to connect. When I entered my password/PIN, it will load, then restarts. But when I receive, there is a black screen and I get an error and it restarts.

  -When left on the login screen, it will reboot itself

  -L' initial loading screen is longer than usual.

  The last thing I remember before this happened was rip the CD using an external optical drive. I'm not tech savvy so I'll probably not much terminology on computers, but I'll do some research if necessary.

  I see. Try the following steps to perform a reset. Let me know how it goes.

  1. Turn off your computer
  2. Next to the power button (on the right side), there are little, a small button. Press this button. This button is called the OKR (a key recovery) button.
  3. At the start, you will be asked about 4 option. Select the option that says recovery (or a key recovery).
  4. Follow the prompts on the screen.

If you are already on the latest graphics card drivers, uninstall and install a version or a few versions behind the last to make sure this isn't a last number one driver. If you have already experienced with the driver of the card later and earlier versions, please try the driver beta for your card.

  Hi, I'm pretty new to dreamweaver so excuse me if this question is stupid or the obvious answer.

  I created my first project in dreamweaver - a "Coming Soon" page for my site Cyber Zombie Coming Soon! and I'm pretty happy with the results considering it was my first time using dreamweaver for a real project of myself without a tutorial.  However, I have a problem with my navigation menu. When my site is displayed in desktop mode, the navigation is fine (screenshot)

  

  But when I reduce the size of my window to represent a mobile , the button interface that is supposed to say "Turn the Navigation" is extremely difficult to see (screenshot)

  

  When I hover over the button with my mouse, it's a little better but still difficult to see (screenshot) and also you do not have a mouse on a smartphone to get high with.
