2 Lenovo's Yoga, stuck on the login screen. Need help!

My Lenovo Yoga 2 has some very weird problems that prevents me from using it. Here is a list of issues I noticed:

-When I hover over the power icon, there is no option to restart, shutdown or standby. This only happens randomly.

-I don't have internet connection. A red 'x' is on the connection icon. I'm not able to put it in airplane mode either.

-Unable to connect. When I entered my password/PIN, it will load, then restarts. But when I receive, there is a black screen and I get an error and it restarts.

-When left on the login screen, it will reboot itself

-L' initial loading screen is longer than usual.

The last thing I remember before this happened was rip the CD using an external optical drive. I'm not tech savvy so I'll probably not much terminology on computers, but I'll do some research if necessary.

I see. Try the following steps to perform a reset. Let me know how it goes.

  1. Turn off your computer
  2. Next to the power button (on the right side), there are little, a small button. Press this button. This button is called the OKR (a key recovery) button.
  3. At the start, you will be asked about 4 option. Select the option that says recovery (or a key recovery).
  4. Follow the prompts on the screen.

You should take a look at your startup programs and decide what is really necessary and what is nothing more than useless clutter. There is nothing wrong with the startup programs, some may be really useful or even necessary for your personal needs. But keep in mind that many programs build to start when you start the computer and that most of them must not start when the computer starts, all they do is slow down your boot time and clutter of things when you're trying to solve problems, and some are downright harmful!

I mean, have you really need things like real Planner and Gadwin Print Screen running all the time? These programs will run very well, even if they are not started automatically every time that you start the computer. Go to these programs and change/disable their boot option. Some may be difficult to kill for public assistance services can be useful when you try to control startup programs. Try CodeStuff Starter, it's safe and easy to use, I think you'll like it, download it here:

I can't tell you what to keep, startup items it is a personal preference, but pretty well all the startup items indicated by CodeStuff Starter are safe to disable, and changes are easy to reverse if you change your mind. Searches for items it shows you and decide whether or not these things are really useful or necessary. Some programs will be started at startup without your knowledge and over time, that list can expand to include useless parasites, part of good computer maintenance includes regular control of these startup items and the removal of the unnecessary.

Suggest that you first spread malware as the cause of the problem by following these steps:

    I. - delete your temporary files

Clean the system (compensation to all temp/tmp folders and included all the content offline, the tif browser, delete the cookies of compensation.)

Do a disk cleanup. Click the Start button. in the search box, type disk cleanupand then in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup. Better and easier to use - ccleaner.

  • Keyboard not working on Lenovo Windows laptop and stuck on the login screen

I have a Lenovo WIndows 8 20157 laptop, the keyboard no longer works someday so I restored it.  At that time, I could use an external keyboard.  When the system rebooted, it got to the login screen and will not work.  The screen keyboard and the external keyboard does not work.  The only thing that happens when I use a keyboard (external to the screen, laptop), is that if I hit the button S power options developed.  I can not connect and I can't run it in safe mode.  Already, I have removed the battery and held down the power button, which has not changed anything.

I took it for someone who told me to restore to factory settings and there are drop down menu in the corner of the login screen, but sometimes the mouse works and sometimes it isn't.  For example at the moment I can't open easy access menu to open the keyboard screen, but sometimes I can't.  Any ideas?

  • Brand-new Satellite L300 stuck on the login screen

    Hi all
I'm new and a little bit of a technophobe - hope you can help.

We have bought a new laptop a few weeks ago and set it all. Seemed easy enough - is installed after turning on, logged in with the password network and we were away.

We have 2 connections A and B put in place in this regard. My partner turned on and it came with the connection form A and B with 2 icons - he went to a click sound and he did not. No mouse is attached, we use the keyboard mouse. Tried rebooting with the button, but it's the same thing. I tried again and it has gone through a process and offered safe mode and normal mode, I tried separately on both and she returned to the login screen and click has failed.

It is now stuck on the battery mode, because we can't get past this screen and it to run properly. Any suggestions?

    Thank you very much.

Would it be possible that you have disabled the touchpad accidentally and therefore you couldn't t access the Win Vista ;)?
Please note that you can enable and disable the touchpad by using the FN + F9 key combination

  • Full computer stuck on the login screen

Original title: complete computer freeze on connect on the screen... nothing I tried works critical need help

I am running windows xp and for some reason any (probably a major virus or main registry errors) when I try to log on to my computer nothing does market no mouse movement any key stroke in any combination... nothing will make this computer work... as soon as does boot in safe mode will not move at all... I was wondering if there is some way I can do as a system restore or anything to help save my laptop

    Dear michaelhelmers

Can you let us know the brand of your laptop? If you have the Windows XP disc, you can fix the errors of system files from there. To start your computer in safe mode, press F8 after that brand of laptop logo disappears and before when appears the "XP" logo. But if somehow the safe mode is inaccessible then I suggest that you use the Windows XP disk to repair your system.

  • T60 stuck after the login screen

I have a Lenovo T60 and it has been working great for the last two years.
Earlier today, I use it and it became suddenly very slow which I answered by stopping by holding the power button. I then proceeded to turn it back on and everything loaded correctly, typed in my information, then waited so he can log on and load Windows. My problem is that Windows never charged upwards and after more than 30 minutes of waiting, I handed on by the power button and tried again and again and again. I googled around the answers and found none, and there is no option to start in safe MODE.
This is my last resort - please help me!

    Thank you in advance.

Is it possible to copy EXACTLY all of my current HARD drive to a new one? I live in the Surrey Hills area.

  • Yoga 2 Pro stuck on the BIOS screen

Yesterday using my pro, I let the battery run completely. When I went to use the computer today, the computer is stuck on the white screen of lenovo.

Computer will not configuration options or boot bios enter unless the hard drive is removed. I can run the computer without the pcei HDD when you use a disk external hard usb. Not really sure where to go fron here. I tried to remove the hard disk, booting from a flash drive, then reinstall the pcei reader, but it does appear quite Similarly when searching for it through the command prompt. Thinking I have a bad drive hard, but I am at a loss at the moment

Yes, I'm guessing that the drive might be bad.

Try the Secure Boot turn off/on or affecting in the UEFI/Legacy BIOS as well. It might allow you to start an external drive.

Make sure that the boot order is set to an external start too.

  • L540: password accepted anywhere but the login screen

    Hello!

I was happily using the sensor of fingerprint on my L540 for awhile, until what a few months ago, I reinstalled Windows 7 (Professional, x 64). After setting up everything, and by installing drivers Lenovo, I noticed this problem:

When I start the laptop and you type the password, it will accept it.* but if I open the dialog to change, Windows will claim that the password that I type is wrong. I tried several times, also copy - paste where she had changed the layout of the keyboard, but just, he does not accept the password that works on the logon screen.
The same thing happens when I close the laptop and it goes into sleep mode, and then I try to connect again. In this case the only thing that helps is to extinguish completely the laptop and restart.

For a while it would not also accept the password on the login screen * front * password indication was shown. Of course maybe I just typed it, but it happened very regularly for 1-2 weeks or more. At one point that specific question came not, without changing me anything.

In short, I can't set up the fingerprint sensor because I have to type the password, and I can't change it to something easier. This particular password wasn't supposed to be typed much. I trusted that the fingerprint sensor would work.

I thought that it might be caused by one of the drivers, given that the problem started happening immediately, but only a few days after that I want to install Windows. (My memory is a bit blurry, sorry).
Then I threw most of the drivers I downloaded manually (especially the keyboard driver and fingerprints) and installed a package that installs drivers automatically, but that has not changed anything.

I have no idea if this would be a problem of Lenovo or a Windows problem. Can you give me an idea where to go with this problem?

    Thank you very much!

Easiest thing would be just to use the new account. But what about the why, that's happened, I don't really know why. =/

  • Stuck on the profile screen after Windows update

After that a windows update last night, my computer is stuck on the profile screen and I can not connect.  By clicking on the icons for different accounts does not bring to the top of the login screen where I can enter a password. The screen just flashes and the wheel spins for a while and then comes back to the profile screen. I tried to boot into the different security modes but same thing happens and I can not connect. I also tried to fix the computer and restart at the last known good configuration under boot options with the same results. Short to reset the default settings that will erase all my data, (which may or may not work) is there another fix?  It seems that windows is starting up, but just the login screen appear so I can enter my password.  I have windows 7 Home premium version.

    Hello

Please provide detailed information about your question. I appreciate the step by step troubleshooting, and pain that you have taken to resolve your problem.

If the Panel username and password is not displayed during logon and the problem persists even in safe mode, then the question could be if there is a corrupted file system or some third party conflicts.

I suggest that you want to run auto repair with installation media and see if it helps you repair system files. For the execution of the task, I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps.

    Method 1

When you use the recovery environment (Windows RE) to troubleshoot startup issues, first try the Startup Repair option in the System Recovery Options dialog box. If this does not resolve the problem, or if you have additional problems manually, use the Bootrec.exe tool.

Because you cannot start the computer, you may need to create a bootable Windows installation media, and then do an auto repair, and if this does not help then you try to restore your computer to the previous date.

Note: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.

If you are using Windows 7 and you have the product key and then the link provided below might help you to download and create installation media if you do not.

Download Windows 7 Disk Images (ISO files)

    Method 2

If the problem persists, try to rebuild the BCD by using the Bootrec.exe tool. To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows recovery environment (Windows RE) . To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Place the Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
    2. Press a key when you are prompted. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.
    3. Click repair your computer.
    4. Click the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
    5. In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.
    6. Type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.

See the following link for more information:

How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows recovery environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/927392

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

With your computer is able to start properly in Mode safe, this indicates that there may be a third-party service that is causing problems. I have some articles for you to check.

OS X El Capitan: If you have problems with startup items

OS X El Capitan: login users & groups preferences pane items

You can remove all items start and the login items, and then test to see if you can boot normally, if you can, you can add one item at a time and continue his tests to see how the origin of the problem.
