electric current

I'm pass 110Voltage to 220 voltage. Do I need anything special other than an adapter for the plug to fit the power outlet?

Thank you

You are welcome.  Thank you for the additional information.

The information you provided is very useful.  You can use the computer with 220V-50 Hz with only the adapter for the plug.  It is a very good feature.  It is ideal for travelling around the world.

    Hello everyone,

I'm developing a LabVIEW application with .NET modules to call functions in a DLL. I would like the function of the ADC data acquisition to keep collecting and setting of data in the background while I call these properties and methods .NET. I wish that the blocking of the program if the electric current is too high.

Currently, the acquisition of continuous at 1 kHz sampling data and display this value to an indicator. The indicator is only updated every 1.5 seconds after I called all these functions .NET. I'm the DAQ function of time reading loop with other commands. What is the appropriate continuous structure receive data DAQ continuously in the background while the rest of the program is running?

If you develop your LabVIEW application, simply create a parallel tasks, for example one for data acquisition (which will collect data continuously) and have another task to complete DLL functions

  • Adapter Qosmio F30 AC fried (burnt cables) is it the fault of notebooks?

    Laptop = Qosmio F30/695ls

I was wondering if other people have encountered this problem? Is this a fault in the design of the adapter? The adapter model number is; * PA3237U-3ACA. *.

The cord was fine until today (looked perfect) death of my laptop I thought it has not been plugged in properly checked if all parties, but each has been connected - then I noticed a melted part where wiring has been merged with plastic sheath. (just after the elbow on the wire protector which leads to the laptop leaves the ac adopter)

I would just replace it immediately if I know it's only fault the adaptors - however I am worried there is a problem with the laptop itself. In the last few weeks, I noticed a very high frequency noise coming from him. Sometimes near the back where the power cable is connected and other times near the waterfront where the battery and HARD drive are (the drive is new and only a few months old) the laptop itself is almost 3 years old bought in June 2006. I'm afraid that the AC adapter has damaged the internal power system or the internal power supply was to damage and killed the adapter? Does anyone know how to check if the laptop is damaged internally or if it's just the AC adopter? I don't want to just replace the adapter and end up frying the motherboard!

I have a second battery with a few minutes of charge, so if you need me to check anything on the laptop I can (operating system is vista)

Any ideas at all about the cause of the problem, welcome!

Oh PS. I live in Ireland, the electric current that he 220V and it is also connected to the Earth, I use an adopter plug multi protected against overvoltages.

    You can easily test.
Simply unplug the AC adapter and check if the laptop works correctly using only the power of the battery.
Generally, the laptop can not damage the AC adapter! As far as I know technically this is not possible then I guess that your adapter is defective and must be replaced

  • Spectrum x 360 13-4183nr: tactile sensitivity with pen of spectrum x 360 [CLOSED]

The question has been answered by trial and error. Only a battery-operated pen will give full functionality as the touch of the pen on the screen requires an electric current, but also pressures. There is no way to calibrate for the pressure sensitivity. The screen responds to many levels of pressure, but I would like to there was a way to put the ' basic' pressure minumum.

I returned the Targus and bought the Dell Active Stylus 750-AAGN because he got much more critical than the active stylus HP, and I love it. It is extremely precise and accurate without any calibration and works right out of the box.

I called Wacom (the builders of the line of bamboo pens) and they said they plan to launch a new stylus for Windows devices in the middle of this year.

  • Moving to the United Kingdom

I'm moving permanently to the United Kingdom... .should I wait to buy one until I'm there? Concerned about electric current and plug adapters etc.?

    Hello

There are no regional differences in the hardware Apple Watch. The included USB adapter will have pins which are located in the country of purchase.

When the charge socket, you can connect the magnetic charge cable Apple to your choice:

    -L' adapter USB Apple provided with the watch, or;

    -A true 5W Apple (iPhone) or 12W (iPad) USB power adapter, or;

-An equivalent of certified Apple of one third of the foregoing.

If loading via USB, you can connect to a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port (if connected to a computer, the compuet must remain on and wake up and the cable must be connected directly to the computer and not in, for example, an external keyboard).

Wait and buy one in the United Kingdom, as Apple warranty will be honored only in the country in which it was purchased, nor will you have to worry about adapters.

You can call Lenovo warranty support on 131426, press 1 and 3. You can talk with the support staff, and they will one determine if it is faulty (mention of the noise).

  • excitement of the thermistor and NI6224 DAQ board / whatever it is quick and (relatively) cheap?

    Hello world

I need to measure temperatures between 15 ° C to 40 ° C and to resolve precisely the changes in 0.1 ° C. My thermistor has a nominal resistance of 22 kOhm at 25 ° C and the resistance of 14 KOhm at 37 ° C. constant dissipation in air at 25 ° C is 0.3 MW / ° C - but the thermistor will be used in aqueous solution. I have a NI6224 DAQ card with a connector in SCB-68 and Labview 7.

How do my NI6224 work with my thermistor with minimal cost?

    In particular:

the NI6224 has no analog output. Can I use a digital output as a power source? I would say no because the current digital output is 24 mA, it would make my time 14 KOhm > 10 V, which is the input of the Board of Directors range 24. Is this correct?

I could buy a module NI 9265 + chassis + cables etc to provide the excitation of the thermistor current and connect his two sons to a Council NI6224 differential voltage input? Y at - it any cheaper option with others OR or equipment of third parties?

Thank you in advance for your time and help

(Note that this message was posted in response to another thread named "thermistor". I'm following the suggestion to move here in a new thread to increase visibility and try and get help...)

    Yes.

You are correct about both measures ended up alone. The other end of the probe will be connected to the Earth.

There is no advantage to a measure differential in this situation because there is no true differential signal.  The two voltages are referenced to ground.

Calibration is always a good idea. Here, he will compensate for differences of Thermistors and fixed any deviation from the nominal value of the resistance.

Even if your temperature is probably change very slowly, it can be useful to sample at a rate groups and average high of samples to produce a single reading. This can considerably reduce the noise. A common source of noise is the electric current. By sampling at a multiple of the line frequency of power, such as 1200 Hz and then with an average of 1200 samples, you get a reading per second with substantial reduction in 50 or 60 Hz noise.

  • Short Circuit on the inductor

Hello.. I have a simple request. How is Multisim includes a short circuit? I take a DC source connected to a coil. When I do short, it is to show me a msg like "the driver gets burned" or something like that. Instead, it shows a straignt line in an oscilloscope. I can't prove this thory in Multisim, "a short circuit is a connection of small accidental resistance between two nodes of an electrical circuit that are supposed to be at different voltages. This translates into excessive electric current (overcurrent) limited only by the equivalent resistance of Thevenin from the rest of the network and potentially causes circuit damage, overheating, fire or explosion. "I will be happy to receive the exact solution.

    Hi, Mr. Gil,.

Multisim is ideal and it will tell you if there is a short circuit.

  • Compensation of temperature for the strain gauges

I'm trying to compensate for the effects of temperature on an extensometer placed on a sample of carbon fiber.  The sample will be only responsible uniaxialement.  The temperature is a major concern here, for an electrical current will be executed by him for purposes of measurement, which should also heat the sample.  I read in the document 'Strain gauges measure' on the website of NOR (http://www.ni.com/white-paper/3642/en), but he speaks with a Measurer of mannequin, he speaks not just how this second pledge, placed perpendicularly to the axis of the applied force, we are not talking of how connect to the strain gauge module , in my case the NI 9235, to use for temperature compensation.  My first thought was just connect each pledge to the module as their own separate channels, using quarter-bridge in the LabVIEW software set up, calibrate the two gauges while not external physical load or temperature effects are applied, and then, after the test, by subtracting the measure pledge Sham in the values of assets pledged.  But then I started wondering, is there a better way to do this?  Can I use the half-bridge configuration, or some other configuration with the 9235 to automatically merge the readings two pledge during the test?

I'd appreciate it really any advice that anyone can give me on this.  I don't want to build my own external wheatstone bridge (other than the built-in NI 9235), and I would like to make these measurements as accurate as possible.  I have also considered the possibility of the compensators measurers, but I don't think this would be applicable in this case, the complexity of the matter - being a composite.

    Hello WyoEng,

You want to use the temperature compensation is referred to as a quarter bridge II configuration (image below). This configuration is very similar to a half of the bridge, while the second element (R3) is inactive because it is placed transversely to the direction of the load, without strain and in the same location the active gage (R4) to take account of thermal affect.

NI 9235 supports only a quarter bridge I configuration for measures of constraints.  You will get an error if you try to use this module for any other configuration of pledge of strain that is not quarter bridge I. Thus, active policy that you asked to use two channels to read the pledge and the dummy gage will be the best option to use NI 9235 to compensate for thermal effects on your extensometer.

Another option would be to look on the NI 9237 which supports a quarter bridge II configuration.

  • Availability of products; Europe vs United States

Why aren't cameras that are available in Europe (for example, 600 d, 700 d) available to the United States?

    Hello, FotoBob23!

We are pleased to announce that the cameras you mentioned are, in fact, available in the United States.  The EOS 600 d and the EOS 700 d are sold Stateside as the EOS Rebel T3i and EOS Rebel T5i, respectively.  While there may be very minor internal differences to comply with regional requirements (for example, regarding the electric currents and the default language), cameras are functionally identical and are sold under different model names in other parts of the world mainly for marketing reasons.  Don't forget that Canon USA may only cameras warranty and maintenance for sale in the United States, so we recommend you to get just the US-version EOS Rebel instead of its international counterpart.  We are sure that it will be easier to find in U.S. stores!

    We hope this helps!

  • Listen to music while loading

    Hello

I want to listen to music when the player of the rocket is in charge...

    How can I do?

    Is there a special procedure?

    A dock station exist?

Or maybe a simple connector / adapter?

Thank you very much for your help!

(I'm French, so please forgive my English)

I tested with en usb wall charger, I had at home.

And it did not work, he was in charge but unable to listen to the music.

But there is an easy solution, I explain to those who have the same problem.

I just changed my wall adapter. In reality, a usb link has 4 connectors:

And when electric current passes through the connector D - and D + (in the Middle, used for data).

The player thinks that he is connecting to a computer, then it changes its mode and listening to music is impossible.

So on my adapter wall, there is a USB female connector, and when I removed this connector 2 (D - D +), player

does not recognize the data. So he plays music because of the only two connector current electric

It is strange that there is electric current on this connector to two (D + D) - because when he has to connect on the wall.

We don't send/receive data... but I don't like cause now it works!

Thank you very much for your help!

  • My laptop turns off suddenly in use

My laptop turns off without any warning every 20-30 minutes

and he died 6-7 times a day.
    I use Windows Vista Home
My laptop was plugged into the electric current (I remove the top battery)
I tried to boot with safe mode and still, it turns off.

Can someone give me advice to understand the problem
I was very grateful to hear it.
    Thank you
    Kat

A common cause of this kind of behavior is overheating. One thing to try:

Unplug the unit and remove the battery. Use a vacuum and target different cooling openings. Replace the battery and reconnect it. Check the operation.

  • So slow connection wireless but ok with dongle...

I am running Vista Premium on a Compaq Pressario laptop and had no problem until last week. then I connected to my wireless laptop one day and it was so slow, I restarted and did it again. No joy, it is still slow. I can not connect my camera or phone on the laptop because it will not recognize either. In Device manager all my 6TO4 adapters are highlighted so are also all my ISATAP adapters. I tried to uninstall / reinstall but not good. If I plug my Dongle my connection is back to normal, but still not not recognizing my USB key. So I can't load my phone or transfer through photos. System restore would not have worked either. I've been on a lot of forums and these network adaptors cause a lot of problems for people. Any help would be accepted with gratitude!

    Hello

I'm sorry that I have to keep asking questions rather than give answers.

You do not have a public network topology and I can well understand how it works.

Where your main computer becomes the Internet from?

If it is connected directly to the Internet via cable, and you have a secondary wireless card in the host computer. So I guess that the device wireless using the wireless adapter and configured Ad - Hoc with ICS.

If you unplug the main Internet streams and connect a Dongle (wireless Internet), then ICS must be reconfigured to work with the Dongle and wireless adapter...

If indeed all the above devices using ICS with high AD - Hoc wireless connection, it will work very slow as the Ad - Hoc wireless connection is incapale to adequately provide some customers 'Speed' (it is the nature of the 802.11 g Wireless ad-hoc).

The general public solution to this problem is to use the cable/DSL router wireless to the Internet source.

Regarding the USB ports. The electric current which can be taken from the USB ports is limited and particularly weak in laptop computers.

Connect devices like a phone or USB to USB light charger a computer judge the electric current is too weak to support at the moment where another device.

As a guess, are this system installed in a recreational vehicle, or trailer using public access point?
