  If so, the Vari-Bright feature must be on. To fix this, go to:

  1 AMD Vision Engine Control Center (or AMD Catalyst Control Center)

  2 power

  3 PowerPlay

  4. uncheck the ' enable Vari-Bright ".

  You are using a laptop computer monitor or a desktop monitor / external?  This is much like a monitor that has its own management food or, as with many TVs, the ability to change the brightness in response to changes in ambient light levels.

  Always list the make and model of computer, please.

  Start > right click on computer

  Select manage

  Click the UAC continuous window

  Click on Device Manager

  Click on the + sign next to display adapters

  Right-click and select uninstall

  Click on the + sign next to sound, video and game controllers

  Right-click on the game controller

  Select uninstall

  Close the Device Manager

  Reset

  Windows will reinstall drivers

  Go to the graphics card manufacturer's website and search for drivers updated

  Did you run HP Support Assistantto help update the drivers?

  Have you tried to use the troubleshooter in Windows?

  You can try to download the latest VGA drivers for your model and see if that solves the problem. To do this, you can follow the steps below:

  2 type Aspire E1-470 in the below "search by product model" box and click "search".
  3. click on your model number in the list that appears.
  4. Once your model details are displayed, select your operating system in the drop and more "Operating System".

  The anniversary of 10 Windows Update yesterday failed with the error:

  "We could not update system reserved partition."

  It seems that HP had broke the 100 MB EFI Partition (System Reserved Partition) with updates and it prevented additional updates to the partition.

  I followed the instructions for Windows 7 or 8/8.1 with GPT partition and was able to update my BIOS. I will try to update Windows 10 now.

  I think that the ECO profile has been selected in Win 7 power Managemnt.

  You can change it easily.
  Go to control panel (change the icon display, small or large)-> power management
  Here you will find plans of different powers.

  Choose the one you want to use: for example the balance.
  Now, click on change Plan settings

  Now, you can find the option called the brightness
  Here, you can assign the value of the battery and AC adapter mode.
  Finally, apply the changes.

  I upgraded from 8.1 for windows 10 days after I bought it.  Everything works fine.  However, only on the battery when I go back to the desktop the screen fades a little.  As soon as I open a window, the screen returns to its maximum intensity (with about 10 seconds).  I just did not notice if she did this with 8.1

  Hmmm... to me it looks really good mine a bit a hardware problem if the screen starts flashing, then erased.
  Maybe there's something wrong with the screen itself or with the other party as FL inverter.
  FL inverter is responsible for part of the screen backlight control.

  In my opinion, these two parts must be checked!
  But I doubt you can do that without additional aid by the ASP technician and so I recommend to ask a technician for assistance.
