ENVY 100 - jam paper with glossy (250gms)

Hi I have a HP Envy 100 (D410) printer all-in-one and that you were never able to print on glossy photo paper or any document on 200gsm.  Even though the manual says you can go up to 271gsm.

The document tries to feed and then I get a paper jam error message.  I tried the HP and Epsom glossy A4 inkjet photo paper (220 and 250 g/m²) and 250 g/m², 4 x 6 photo paper glossy.  Until they reach the print head and cause a jam.

any help would be appreciated.

Thank you np1664

You can try cleaning the rollers as described in the following link.  Click here.   Sometimes, a thorough cleaning of the rollers can help in this type of situation.

If this does not help, we could do a complete reset of semi.  Let me know if you want to try it and I can send you the steps in a private post.  I need you agree to not post the stages.  I agree that the problem is probably material, but a reset complete semi can help when there is a problem of coordination between the different parts of the printer.

    Welcome to the @noxasforums.

I saw your post about your Envy 100 not pulling by glossy paper 250 gsm and wanted to answer you! I checked the specs for the Envy 100 and as you can see below, the printer should take in if you use a format supported below. Maybe you can try the steps from the link I posted for you. I think the cleaning rollers should help. You can also try to select different types of paper to see if one works better than the other.

    Let me know what happens!

Tip: Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall jack, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.

  • Envy 100 D410 printer paper mismatch error

My Envy 100 gives "Paper mismatch" error when I try to print using ePrint, when I try to print a status report and any other time, I try to print unless in the Windows driver I put quality in the 'project '.

I tried to clean everything, but no luck, it seemed to just start doing this a few months ago.

    Any ideas?

From previous posts, I see that this printer is having a problem with the hardware with the paper sensors.  Setting the printer in project mode overrides the paper sensors and works around this problem.  However, it seems that web services are unable to pass even with the project defined mode.  So, I guess that this printer is out of warranty is an Envy 100.  I would say that at this stage, the best idea with this printer is to print in draft mode of the computer and try copies in fast mode.

If you want to use web services, then this product of replacement would be needed to take advantage of this feature.  Good luck.

  • HP Envy 100 eAll-in-one printer D410b

I recently bought this printer and I meet a love hate relationship with it. Most of the problems have to do with ePrint. After reviewing the ePrint Forum, it seems that most of the problems originate from an unstable ePrint server.

My question is: has anyone installed and used this printer? It looks elegant in the family room (not your printer typical aspect). I like the way he reacts to print applications:

-The door opens and the display will change to indicate an impression begins

    -Out the output tray extension

    -The document is printed

-When I pick up the paper from the printer, the output extension tray retracts to the printer

-At this point (or after a short timeout) I expect the door closes, but is not

-The display goes off and the printer between what I'll call hypernation mode waiting to be awakened for the next print job

My second question is: anyone knows the door that closes by itself? That seems to be the logical operation when the printer is in mode "hybernation. Then, it was not designed this way (design control), it was not implemented like that (faulty manufacture), or my printer is defective. Responds to everyone?

Finally the FW update is here. I tried and tried to get this update, but the printer keeps you answer that there are no updates, until I did a reset full semi of the printer. 5 packages where downloaded and installed and the result...

THIS WORKED, THE DOOR CLOSED AFTER PRINTING!

I tried the different steps of the printer, Eve---> print---> door closes

Now I can really enjoy my Envy 100 D410A.

    Hello
The default analysis workflows configured to scan photo 6 x 4 in. make sure you change the scanning settings to not crop the area swept as follows:

1 open the HP utility and select your device.
    2. based on Scan Settings open the "Scan to Computer".
    3. click on the tab "scan tasks.
    4. Select the shortcut Scan allows to analyze, and then click on edit.
    5. in the section of scanning from an HP device, click the blue triangle or button view details to expand the menu.
    6. in the expanded menu now, open the drop down next to cultures in and asA4 or None value.
    7. click OK and try to scan.

If you get an error when trying to change shortcut scan patch installation, and then follow the steps above to the following:

  • Unable to get web services reactivated on Envy 100 D410

My envy 100 D410a was once working with ePrint, but has not been used for a while.  I've recently switched to connected HP and had to re - register the printer.  The news to save the printer would not print.

After trying a few times, I removed the web services and then tried to turn it back on, but every time I get the message "problem connecting to the web services server.

I have the Group of experts through the troubleshooting to restart the printer, restart the router, nothing helps.  I have currently set an IP address manually and can print wireless via a laptop, but not ePrint and no web service.

I tried to configure the servers manual DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (via the printer IP address URL), but whenever I try, I get an error:

    An error has occurred. (wipv4Page-400)
    Click 'OK' to go back

    The current firmware is: SLM1CN1039HR.

SOLVED!   This can be closed.  I did a factory reset, but not on the tab network/section.  Once I did this and restarted the printer, web services could be reactivated.  I can now access the printer via HPEPrint.

  • No internet after using the Envy 100

Whenever I use the Envy 100 (or to be more precise: when the urge got a Wi - Fi connection) I lose internetconnectivity. But only after I finish a session to my router (Linksys WRT610N). When I turn off the router and the next time, it cannot connect to my internetmodem (Linksys AM200) at all. WiFi is in place, but I have only local access, apparently the router cannot connect to my modem (which indicates both the CABLE with the router as the to Internet is up.)

This only happens after the sessions where I used the desire, otherwise everything is OK. During these sessions, there is no problem, only after the start a new. The only way to restore the connection is reset my hard router and reconfigure.

BTW. I am one of the users who are unable to get a connection to the webapps desire, but there work ePrint - that is another thread on this forum. Not sure if the two problems are or are not connected.

    Any help or pointers?

A FW update was recently released to solve the problem with access apps... If you have not received notification on the urge of an available update, you should be able to go to your desire screen and select settings (wrench) > Web > Product Updates > check product updates get the latest FW installed on your printer.

Regarding the other question - routers are not intended to be turned on/turned off constantly, but it must always connect to your reliable modem after reboot.  Complete the FW update and see if the problem persists.  Also, can you share why you turn off the router on a regular basis - there is really no need to do so.

Probably, you need to delete the current program printer and install a new copy of the software full functionality.

  • HP Envy 100 v, 110 v 114

    Hello

First of all I'm new here so please forgive me if this is in the wrong forum.

Basically, I'm after a new wireless printer, I have been looking at the HP Envy 114 because of its wireless & Airprint capability.

I want this camera in black, they have on the Apple store online for £220.

However, I found the model Envy 100 £125, nine - this seems to be a huge price difference for (that I can see) not a lot of difference in functionality.

Is not wrong in thinking that the only difference between the 100 and 114 is double-sided printing and installation of eFax?

If these are the only two differences between these two models, so I may as well go with the model 100 and save me about £100.

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hello

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post!

From what I can tell, the differences between the Envy 100 and 114 are minimal, as you say.

The 114 has slightly better black print quality (1200 dpi vs 600 dpi) but the quality of the colors is the same for both products.  The 114 will also be printing/scanning slightly faster than the 100.  The 114 eFax, but from what I can tell the Envy 100 print double-sided and feature (here's a link to the data sheet/sheet: http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press_kits/2010/InnovationSummit/Envy_100_Datasheet.pdf).

And, here's the datasheet for the 114.  http://www.shopping.HP.com/shopping/PDF/cq811a.PDF

Looks like the 100 will be very good to meet your needs.

    Hope that helps!

  • "Problem connecting to the Server Web Services." - HP Envy 100

    Hello world

I wonder if anyone has the same problem as me. I just got a HP Envy 100 and went through the process of setting up without problem. The printer is connected via Wi - Fi for wireless network, I can ping the printer from my Mac successfully and I can print within the network without problem.

However, regarding ePrint and Web features, it seems that nothing really works. I can't even turn on Web services, I always get the message "problem connecting to the Web Services server.

    I tried the following:

    -Restart the router and printer

-Change the manual IP address and manually set the DNS server

-Reapply automatic IP and set the Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) servers

.. .with no chance whatsoever. If this is a problem with the firmware (from what I understood, I do not have the latest firmware, but I can't ask her update, because it requires, you guessed it, a connection on the server of web services, that is the whole of the problem.)

Anyone else having the problem? Everyone had it and fixed it? Is this just a temporary problem with HP servers?

    Thanks in advance!

Hey, for me it works as well, and I didn't, just retried that I had tried before and it connected to the Web Services without problem.

So I think it's safe to say that the original problem in this topic only lied to a HP Server-side problem. Not cool it took so long for them to solve and in particular the fact that we did not really have feedback appropriate about the problem.

Anyway, I solved (for now, at least).

It seems that the Board is unable to articulate properly with the rest of the printer. How can I fix the drawer so that the paper is charging correctly?

I left the printer only since yesterday when I posted my message. I turned on at the moment and I tried to print and it worked! Not sure what happened, but I'm going to go and call this resolved.
