Equium M50-235: which module of memory should I use?

Impossible to find a solution as module type, that I need to upgrade the amount of memory. PC world who provided the laptop say their 512 MB PC2100 DDR DIMM will do the job.
What is the best compatible module for M50-235 series laptop?

PS: It is a model not announced as current and abandoned on the Toshiba Web site, so I guess it's a special that they threw their spare bits to do something unique for PC World.

Hello

The unit has 2 slots for memory and you can upgrade the memory for max 2048 MB
Toshiba recommend using these modules DDR - RAM:
PC2700 256 MB (PA3311U - 2M 25)
PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 2M 51)
1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-2M1G)

    Hello

As far as I know, that you can use but I think it makes sense. Is the bus speed of 333 MHz and these modules should go down with the speed of the bus running. It is always recommended to use the appropriate modules to avoid any damage.

    Hi Phil

This simple Tecra M2 stand s the PC2700 200-pin (333 MHz) DDR SODIMM memory modules and you can increase the ram up to 2 GB

You can use these modules to Toshiba:
    PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)

  • How Equium M50-235 faster?

    Hi all

I've had my laptop Equium M50 - 235 for about 4 years now and although it's a bit slow :( I was wondering if anyone can suggest ways to make it faster because I don't want to buy a new laptop due to lack of money.

It is 256 RAM and 1.7 GHz, 40g hard drive... Can I put them all?
    Advice & tips are welcome!

Please help as I t really know what I m doing when it comes to things like that!
    Thank you very much

    Dale

You can make your computer much faster satellite phone very easy.
The first RAM upgrade to the maximum level. It is 2 GB. For this you need two modules of RAM 1 GB compatible.
Compatible 1 GB has PA3313U-2M1G part number.

With 2 GB of RAM, the laptop will be much faster. The second step is running in system optimization.

You n t need some CPU upgrade. With RAM maximum and set up the operating system, the laptop runs like a rocket. ;)

  • Re: Which module of memory is good for Satellite P30 145

    Hello.
I need a little help to decide which module of memory I need to upgrade my P30-145. IV ' e two seen on the Toshiba web site which I think I can use. We're the PA3313U - 2M1G PC2700 DDR SODIMM (333 MHz) and I saw this one mentioned and recommended elsewhere on this forum. The other is PA3411S - 2M1G PC2 - 4300 DDR2 (533 MHz)
The processor is an Intel Pentium 4 with a clock speed of 3.2 GHz and a 533 MHz front side bus speed.
    Anyboy can advise

    Thank you

    Hello

    for your CPU, you need the PA3313U - 2M1G PC2700 DDR SODIMM (333 MHz) since the PA3411S - 2M1G PC2 - 4300 DDR2 (533 MHz) is not compatible for your machine.

PA3411S-2M1G PC2-4300 DDR2 (533 MHz) is for newer machines with Core2Duo and the more recent Pentium M, but not for the Pentium 4.

If you buy some RAM just ensure that you purchase RAM DDR1 PC3200 or PC2700. That's all.

  • Equium M50-244: Question about upgrade memory and Wlan card

I have a model Equium M50-244. What type of network adapter I need to fit a Wi - Fi connection on my hub (BT)?
Also, I currently have 512 MB of ram installed. Can I increase this?

    Hi cora,

Of course, you can improve the memory to a higher value.
This book must support 2 slots of memory and it should be possible to increase memory for max 2048 MB. In this case, you can use 2 x 1024Mo module.

I also found information that this laptop will accept this module:
    DDR2 400/533 256 MB (PA3389U - 1 M 25)
    512 MB DDR2-400/533 (PA3412U - 1 M 51)
    1 GB OF DDR2 400/533 (PA3411U-1M1G)

I put t know if you've experienced the site options & Accessories Toshiba, but if not then visit this:

You will find more compatible parts.

  • Equium M50-235: the keyboard does not work after upgrde memory

I just did an upgrade memory on my laptop using the second slot located under the keyboard.
However, as I was putting the keyboard at the rear, the ribbon cable has pulled away from the motherboard and even if I pushed
Reconnect and fixed with the clip, the keyboard no longer works.

Is there a service manual I can get hold of someone know what could be the cause of the problem?

    Thank you!

    Hello

First of all, once you unscrew the keyboard, open the clip that secures it in place and reinstall the keyboard by ensuring that it is completely down. After that, now the flat cable in place, close the clip. Then, make sure that it is not lost and that it is seated correctly. Then turn on the laptop and see if it works. If this is not the case, try an external keyboard. If an external keyboard does not work, the keyboard on your MB controller is dead and you need a new MB. If an external keyboard works then your keyboard is dead, or the connector on the MB is dead. Best way to test is to try the first solution. If it doesn't work, take it to an ASP so they can try another keyboard for your laptop. Good luck.

  • Can I expand an Equium M50 with module RAM memory 1 GB?

Someone told me that Equium M50 recognize only module of 512 MB memory. The manual of Toshiba does not. Is it true?
    Thanks for any help
    See you soon

    Hi Francisco

No, this is not correct. The guy who said it was inappropriate and I guess there is no experience Equium A50.

As far as I know that the memory on laptop Equium A50 can be improved up to 2048 MB.
You need to use modules of memory 2 x 1024 MB (1 GB) If you want to upgrade the memory to 2 GB.

For me it of clear. The A50 Equium recognizes larger size of 512 MB memory.

Do you know what modules are compatible and can be used?

On the Toshiba site Options & accessories you will find the modules taken in charge:
    PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 2M 51)
    1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-2M1G)

    I hope I was clear enough ;)

  • My Equium M50 has no noise

    Hello

I got an Equium M50-216. About four months ago I used it to watch a lot of DVDs recently without any problem until last night.
When I put a DVD on watch had no noise. This has happened with other DVDs and don't understand not what may be the problem. I checked the volume control and made sure the Toshiba virtual sound is turned on.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

    See you soon

    Hello

thought I might add that I just checked to see if I could get any sound with external speakers that I have been using the internal speakers so far and I'm also not all of the sounds.

    Bravo again.

  • Pavilion dv6t - 6 c 00 A1U55AV: which USB 3.0 driver should I use

I have a HP Pavilion dv6t - 6 c 00 A1U55AV who had a hard drive failure. After replacing the drive and the installation of the operating system, I was able to get all the resettled drivers, but I'm not sure that I installed the right driver USB 3. I installed the driver from Renesas (v 2.1.19.0), but I'm not sure it's the right one. I have a USB 3 AC wireless card that said I could get faster speeds if I have the plugin into a USB port on the SS (which I do). Should I use the Fresco Logic 3 USB driver instead?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Your machine is a machine CTO so virtually only, you know what it is. Please try to look at its hardware id to see:
