  Sorry for the spelling mistakes.  This error happened all of a sudden today while I was trying to play a specific game of 'I lottery games '.   (b) you try to download the game via Internet Explorer? Or install the game from the CD/DVD/flash drive?
  Uninstall versions of java and reinstall them.

  Since Windows 8 is out, Iwin games (and now the PlayFirst games) have trouble with an extraction error location gs1 General when some of the older games are open. Changes in compatibility mode do NOT work, no matter which version is chosen. Re-booting help not (so no suggestions for a clean boot, please). iWin is working hard to add a file that bypasses this file, but let's face it. The problem is with Windows 8, not the games, since the games worked before and with the patch, working now. However, they have a lot of games requiring the patch and he's taken more than a year and they have not yet all fixed games. If - Microsoft, can come you up with a fix that solves the problem of Windows 8 and 8.1 side that we can add to our computers - not games - and then the games will work.   I have the means to go to the Bowling game and was able to play until a few days ago, I got the error "General Extraction location ARE 1" and I can't get in the game.  I looked online to see what this error is and he can't find where.  I contacted Pogo, where I had the game and Oberon Media, the creators of the game and can help find a solution to my problem.  The only thing I've done to my computer, it's do all the updates of Java, windows and McAfee (my virus program).  I have windows XP.  Any help would be appreciated.

  Thanks a lot for your answer.  I deleted all records of three in the C drive and not seen any sign of the game in my computer so I re-installed.  The re - install put the shortcut on my desktop, so I tried to go in there and got the same 'general Extraction error location ES 1' and the game will not load.  Went through the start menu and tried and received the same message.  I returned to my computer > lecteurC > program files > oberon media > way to go Bowling and open this folder.  The record was filled of records and other icons, so I started to search in folders.  There is an icon that says 'Way to go Bowling Application Electronic Arts' and when I clicked on that, load the game and I was able to play the game.  Because I didn't get into the game this way, whenever I play, I went back to this icon and click right and found the 'send to the office', so I did.  When I click on it on my desk, the game loads and I can play.  I deleted the shortcut that was created during installation and use the one I sent to the desktop and can play now.  Don't know what past or why, I'm so happy I can play this game.

  But I found how to fix very easy !

  You do a right click on the WOW icon at the office-
  then browse to the location of the file -
  It will appear a lot of files-
  Click on the WoW program file instead of the pitcher-
  will start your wow game-
  Log in as normal-
  then he will come to the top to update...

  After the update your wow will work as usual!

  It worked on my computer, please respond!

  Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

  Method 1: Try running disk clean up and remove unwanted system files and folders. Through disk cleanup, you can delete all the temporary files and folders that are not needed on your computer.

  a. open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button picture of the Start button, tap all programs, accessories, click System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.

  b. in the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, choose whether you want to clean your own files only or all files on the computer. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  c. If the disk cleanup: drive selection dialog box appears, select the hard disk you want to clean and then click OK.

  d. click the Disk Cleanup tab and select the check boxes for files that you want to remove.

  e. When you are finished selecting the files you want to delete, click OK and then click on delete files to confirm the operation. Disk Cleanup on delete all unnecessary files from your computer.

  I am trying to install a game open source called Rigs of Rods on my dual-boot MacBook Pro with Windows 7 installed via Boot Camp. I get an error that prevents the installation of DirectX. I know that Win 7 includes DirectX 11, but this game does not currently support the DX 11. If I get this error when you try to install DirectX 9. I had a similar problem with another game that I tried installing on another machine Win 7 which is not started in dual mode, and install DirectX 9 worked perfectly.   I'm trying to play age of Empires 3 on my computer running windows vista Home premium and the program does not start. I tried many suggestions from Microsoft (resettlement program, reinstall in safe mode, update & reinstall the drivers for my video card, the compatibility issues with vista, updating and reinstalling directx 9.0 c, install vista service packs 1 & 2) but nothing has worked so far. I was able to play the game on the same computer with windows xp installed (it's a different hard drive that is not in the computer, and everything is the same) and it worked fine. My computer is old enough, but like I said the game worked before installing vista. ASUS A7N8x deluxe, AMD Athlon xp 3200 +, ATI radeon 9600, 2 GB OCZ ram that all suggestions are welcome.   This problem may occur if the Microsoft DirectX file that is mentioned in the error message is damaged or is not copied correctly.

  I suggest that you copy the file manually by following the steps and check if you are able to play the game without any problems:

  Manually copy the file

  To do this on a computer that is running Windows Vista, follow these steps:

  1 insert the disc 1 CD for one of the following games into the player from the computer:

  o Age of Empires III

  o Fable: The Lost Chapters

  o Zoo Tycoon 2

  o Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends

  2. click on start to reduce this includes this image and then click Documents.

  3. Locate, and then click computer.

  4. search and then click on the CD drive.

  5. Locate and then click the following folder:

  CD player :\ DirectX9

  Note In this folder path, the CD player represents the drive letter of the CD drive.

  6 double-click on Apr2005_d3dx9_25_x86.cab, right click on d3dx9_25.dlland then click copy.

  In Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, double click Aug2005_d3dx9_27_x64.cab right-click d3dx9_27.dlland then click copy.

  Note Use the Apr2005_d3dx9_25_x64.cab file for the x 64 version of the Windows operating system.

  7. find one or more of the following folders, depending on the games that are installed on the computer:

  For some reason that I was constantly blue screen crashes whenever I'm playing Fallout New Vegas on my computer. I'm positive my computer takes care of everything, I will list the specs below. He broke down twice today while I played for a good two and a half hours before the first, but then when I rebooted and went back into the game, he has frozen almost immediately so I ended the process. Then I tried once more, maybe got 10 minutes of play until a third crash...
