• System_Service_Exception error in Windows 8

  Same story for the most part; new computer around Christmas with Windows 8, which restarts randomly giving the System_Service_Exception error. Mine goes further with random problems whenever it restarts as any network not found, library-ms is not working, internet explore close, etc...

  My files are gone and my computer is basically useless.

  The problem started after uninstalling unnecessary programs such as Norton, Wild Tangent, origin, Vimeo, etc...

  Update:

  I removed the link to mini dump & MSinfo32, because I'm deleting existing data on the hard disk and restart with the factory settings.

  No answer, so I got in touch with Toshiba and they remove my data from the hard drive to remove all items in addition to the operating system that could create the problem. The question didn't take place until I started to uninstall unnecessary programs, which in my case was any program installed for Wal-Mart.

  I'll update once that data in the hard disk are deleted.

  No, I returned the computer that gave me error.  The manufacturer asked me to return, because they were not able to solve the problem.  It's to the point that I might be only on a few minutes and every time it restarted, I had a new problem.

  I replaced it with a new computer HP with Windows 8, and it has worked remarkably!

  I wish I could have helped, but I had no resolution to my problem and had to replace the computer.

  I am fairly new to LabVIEW and data collection, so maybe it's a pretty easy question.

  I want to read the data from a device Extech Instruments HD755, it is connected via USB to a COM Port.

  I can see the device at MAX and I am able to open the Panel to test VISA.

  I simply do not know what command I send now, either, I know how to do a Google search for this (I tried several commands, but they did not work).

  I have attached the Protocol of Communication of Extech and my first try of a VI.

  Communication protocol does not say what commands to send. If no other information is either trial and error, or ask manufacturer for example in any language of the text, it's easy to order if that is the problem.

  I try something as attached as a first test, maybe you would need to send several commands (0x04 then 0x01) before it starts the transmission

  I came to the same conclusion. In fact the 150 retired probably about 25 years ago but during clear weather outside, I decided that it might be interesting for someone who likes messing around with old computers, so I got it on ebay, but stupidly, because he worked at store layout I did not check that she worked first.   If the MAC i has the last OS Lion installed then it is not compatible with Photoshop elements 3 because it is a very old version.

  I have a product called superclass. ComputerPart extends product. Motherboard, RAM and disk extend ComputerPart.
  I have a list called oList, which contains Product objects. The oList is divided into separate lists of ComputerPart, device, Service, cheese and fruit.
  I do a method to divide still more the list of ComputerPart in an object of the motherboard, a drive object and an object of RAM.
  
  Each object must then print their respective areas of the objects in the list.
  For example, the RAM has two fields: price and type. Motherboard has two fields: price and manufacturer.
  
  This is the code for the method that I'm having a problem with:

  Error message:

  You could perform a cast to the appropriate type that does have this field, but that should be avoided if possible. Once again, without the full picture, it is difficult to suggest what artificial solution is appropriate to this problem with its artificial constraints.

  Note: I can not add a method toString for classes of products because I am not allowed to edit them.

  toString() has nothing to do with this anyway, and the substitution would not a candidate solution even if you could.

• T400 - palmrest loose

  I recently bought a T400. However, I just noticed that the region of palmrest on the right (the area next to the fingerprint reader and the latch catches, where the ThinkPad logo is pasted) is loose and not tightly attached to the chassis. It creaks even under my weight of palm. It seems that there is some gap between the frame and the cover.  Is that a normal design error or a manufacturing defect? Everyone knows this?

  I want to implement a questionnaire multiple choice. The title of the question and the question responses are returned to flex to db in xml format. I would like to display 2 questions at once. The amount of questions will change a test, but still more than 2, so I would need a paging mechanism. I made successfully all questions on top a canvas using a repeater control with a label (for the title of the question), and a list (for the possible answers to the question). The values in the list are defined at runtime using the notation of Repeater [index] to access the children of the list and the text property of the label is linked to the currentindex Repeater dataprovider data. But now, I don't want any questions showing at the same time, only 2 at a time with a next button. I can correctly set this up with the list control in my repeater object, however the label control will not react. Here is my code:

  * This line returns the correct value, but fails to set the text property of the label in the repetition. (the error of the manufacturer is 'Access of undefined property quesTitle') - but the lable id is quesTitle.
  
  I'm missing something here? or if anyone has another method (completely) to propose, please you can help - this is the last part of the larger project that I really want to complete and to move from.

  OK I got it working - hotwired maybe but hey I'm just a beginner. Suggestions for a better solution are always welcome.

  Basically, created a virtual table to be a separate dataprovider for my repeater control label. The table contained only 2 questions. Updated the table with my questions for the loop, which keeps the correct question with the correct answer choice. The loop is executed with a new starting value after a next button was click and ta da it works with pagination issues and labels.
