When you try to install a program to speed up my Windows XP PC, I get a message error asking to check the path of transformation and thjere is a button 'OK '. Clicking on it makes the error message if go, but nothing else. How to check the path of transformation?

My friend turned on their laptop packard Bell recently and had the following problem. Windows XP screen loads but is then followed by a blue screen that says STOP: c0000221 {Bad Image Checksum}. The image rpcrt.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the checksum calculated.
I can't the laptop to go further. I have accessed the Microsoft recovery Panel and try a non-destructive recovery as there are some precious photos that need backup. However, when you select 'no profile' to begin the recovery, I get the message:

Please provide additional information on your system:
What is your system brand and model?
What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..
The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination? (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)
The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?
You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?
You use some CD to access this Panel of Microsoft recovery where this "no profile" option is? I don't know what all this means if it isn't some CD shipped with your system, in which case, I would use it for a coaster instead of something to fix your system.
If the c:\windows\system32\rpcrt4.dll file is missing or afflicted, you do not start in the last good known Configuration.
You also will not start in any kind of Mode safe no more.
Even if you could boot mode safe, you would find that sfc/scannow does not work in Mode without failure in all cases (never). If you try it, you'll see a message like this:
Windows file protection could not initiate a scan of protected system files.
The specific error code is 0x000006ba [the RPC server is unavailable.].
Failed to start the RPC mode server safe either.
I can't recreate your error exactly, but it is easy to replace the rpcrt4.dll file. Looks like you have a working CD drive, so put yourself a Hiren boot CD and when you started on this, you can copy your precious files to a USB device for safety.
There should be a backup copy of rpcrt4.dll already on your system, here or here:
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
You need to rename or replace the rpcrt4.dll file which is in c:\windows\system32 and replace it with one you will find the backup copies.

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro v10.1.1 installed on a Windows 7 64-bit system. Everything seems to work fine, however, I get the error listed above whenever I try to update the Appendix whenever I try to update the application, I get the error message shown below:
I looked in the error and I found a reference to a fix for Adobe 8.x on a Windows XP system, but it provides expressly the fix is not for Windows 7. I read that the problem is that the path of the transformer in the registry may point to an invalid path, but it seems to be OK.
I have the following in my registry...

Well, I tried to uninstall it and got the same error. so... I used RevoUninstaller to uninstall the application. After that, I reinstalled Acrobat X Pro (v10.0.0). He then updated to v10.1.2.

Our phone system of companies has a web interface since the 14.0.1 update is no longer works. I tried to open it in safe mode with no extension active and ensure that cache has been cleared. In the error logs, I see "this.transforms is undefined" and is repeated 3 - 4 times per second, no matter how long the page is opened. Many pages in the web interface are compressed and if I select a different tab background change but not the areas that fall within her and all submit buttons are ignored.
It works in other browsers and in older versions of firefox, so our miracle temp to say personal use Chrome until we have a chance to roll back on Firefox, even if we are not sure if Firefox is simply updating again.
Finally solved the problem. Discovered that the issue was only happening on HP systems so that it narrowed down. Yet a new windows install using their disks restore would fail on the new update (but only if HP utilities were all re-installed - for example, as fingerprint reader security utilities). I got some new updates for those and the problems went away. Yippee. My guess is that it was the security utilities that run in the background, because they are not browser so plugins work even in SafeMode to browser.
Glad we got going I didn't leave Firefox. What a pain though, as he had really left me speechless.
