Errors in e-mail el capitan after upgrade to Yosemite

Barely I've updated a few days previously (10.11.5) so that I would avoid potential errors, but not quite happened.

I was getting messages that my e-mail account can be checked etc.. Unfortunately, I deleted the box mail thinking I just want to add again to solve the problem.

Now when I try to add a message saying "this account already exists" even if it is not visible everywhere, so I can't set up the new account.

ideas or suggestions please?

Thanks in advance.

Hello

Safe Mode boot deletes some caches system that can help after an OS X update.

Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

  1. Start or restart your Mac.
  2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

Then try to email.

Since the upgrade to Yosemite my iMac has a very 'glitch '... screen Pixels flashing on the screen, all strange pixel following the mouse etc...

When I boot in SafeMode the problem disappeared, so I guess that this excludes a graphics card problem. I had a reading and most other posts someone has suggested to run a script to determine the cause of the error. I did, but I know know how to decipher the output.

  • Failed to open session in Windows 7 'could not load user profile.', in VMware Fusion 7.0 after upgrade to Yosemite

I upgraded my Mac Pro in OS X Yosemite 10.10. Before the upgrade, I did a normal shutdown of Windows and VMware Fusion 7.0.0. I also checked first for updates from VMware and was up to date. After completing the upgrade, I restarted VMware and subsequently started to Windows. Shortly after entering the password to logon to Windows, I received the following error message "the service user profile Service has no logon. The user profile cannot be loaded. "My only option is to click OK, then it seems to re-start Windows, but I'm stuck with this result every time. I restarted the Mac with no variation in the result. Before the upgrade to Yosemite, I have not had any problems. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

I found my answer for someone who is interested. This isn't a Yosemite or VMware problem. That's all just a fault which occurred during logon more likely an anti-virus on Windows running in the background. There is a fairly simple solution be found on the Microsoft support site, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215

I am once again running without any problem.

  • All-in-one Officejet 5610: function Scan lost after upgrade to Yosemite

Lost the ability to analyze after upgrade, print, and copy works. Have already done everything suggested by Double-U-di in the Mac OS 10.10 post Yosemite and HP Printer Support posted on 30/10/2014: checking for updates Apple, printer removed from the queue, add printer back, reset the printing system, removed the HP software, repair disk permissions * manually installed HP printer drivers v3.0 and added to the queue printer. No change, printing & copying ok, but the scanner does not.

During approval of the repair disk found a number of problems related to printing and presumably repaired, had more to do with the ' should be 80, group is zero ", but others as well.

Anyone know what I can do, short of buying a new printer? I realize, it's a dinosaur - always attached via the USB port, but she worked just beautifully before the upgrade.

    Hello @DrBucky,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are not able to scan from your HP Officejet 5610 all-in-One Printer to your computer Mac OS X 10.10. I would like to help you to solve this problem today. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you tried before reaching out for support. You have completed almost all of the recommended steps. However, the order in which the steps have been completed can cause some problems. Therefore, I will be having repeat you some of these measures to ensure that the appropriate driver is being used.

Step 1: Reset the printing system and uninstalling the driver:

It is crucial for the repairs we have a clean slate to work with. Therefore, I'll take you reset the printing system and Uninstall the drivers for your HP Officejet. Please click here for instructions on how to perform the reset and uninstall. Once the site opens, select the drop-down list for 'Mac OS X v10.6, OS X v10.7, OS X v10.8 and OS X v10.9'. Then, please follow the steps in the method 1 and method 2.

Once steps have been taken, please proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Check and repair your Mac disk permissions:

It is very important to perform the audit before the repair. By running the check first, questions are found. Once all questions are found the repair process will correct these problems. By repairing just without checking first, questions may be missed.

    1. Open Macintosh HD and go to Applications
    2. Go to the Utilities folder
    3. Open disk utility
    4. Select the hard disk volume, you use (usually on the left)
    5. Select verify disk permissions
    6. Once this process is complete, select repair disk permissions

Step 3: Manually install the driver Package:

Please click here to manually download the package from Apple to HP v3.0 printer driversupdate. Once the site opens click on the download button at the top. Follow the instructions on the screen to install the driver package.

Step 4: Check the Apple updates:

    1. Go to the Apple
    2. Select System Preferences
    3. Select software update
    4. Click update now
    5. Install your available updates
    6. Computer restart

    Step 5: Add the device:

    1. click on the menu of Apple , then Preferences System.

    2. click on Print & Scan and then check if the name of your printer appears in the printer list.

    3. click on the name of your printer, click the sign minus (), then remove the printer.

    4. click on the plus sign (), click Add a printer or a Scanner, click the name of your printer.

    5. click on the area of use or with the help of Print and then select the name of your printer on the shortcut menu. Ensure that the Officejet driver is selected.

    6. click Add to add the printer to the list.

    -Source

Once your printer is properly added to, please try to scan the image. For instructions on the three supported methods of scanning without HP software please click here. The support document indicates that it is for Mac OS X 10.8 but the steps are the same for Mac OS X 10.10.

Please let me know if a retry of the procedure described in this new order solves your problem of scan. Good luck!

  • Illustrator CS3 crashes after upgrade to Yosemite

I just upgraded to Yosemite on my Macbook 2010 pro. Everything seems to work great except Adobe Illustrator CS3. The rest of the suite Adobe creative works great - photoshop, Indesign etc but not illustrator. When I launched the application after the upgrade, I was asked to install a Java Update I did, I raised then Illustrator, he opened the window initialization and looked like it was going to work but it froze and I had to force quit. Now, it is not passed the window initialization and does not open. I cleaned the cache of police and I started my mac in safe mode, illustrator works in this mode, but when I start again as usual it still does not work here. I tried to find that the users preferences file, so I can remove it, but I can't find this file and not really sure if this is what I have to do to get it working anyway! Unfortunately I do not have installation disks therefore am not able to uninstall and reinstall the Suite. If anyone can give me help I would be very grateful! Earlier, I am very frustrated and wish that I had never updated! Thank you in advance and thank you for taking the time to read my thread.

I also had problems with Adobe Illustrator CS3 and Yosemite. After the upgrade, I installed Java for OS X 2014-001, as suggested by others. It seemed to work (sometimes), but when I opened Illustrator for the 2nd time it could not open. Illustrator open without crashing, but she has not shown all the menus, if I open a .ai file file is load and display on the screen, but I couldn't click on the window (not responding). This essentially useless Illustrator. I tried the following:

    • Re-Setup
    • Install Java for OS X 2014-001
    • Police of cleaning cache
    • The permissions checking
    • Install other versions of Java (JRE or JDK)

Nothing seemed to help. Until at last 15 minutes ago I found the solution by chance:

    1. Open System Preferences > Java
    2. Wait for the Java Control Panel to load
    3. Open Adobe Illustrator (while keeping the window open Java Control Panel)

I hope this will also help others!

  • On my mac e-mail folders gone after upgrade of El Capitan

After an upgrade of the Mavericks 10.9.6 El Capitan 10.11.6 yesterday, everything works fine but all folders on my Mac in Mail disappeared, and just downloaded Mail 2000 + new mails in the Inbox instead of their files based on rules. All accounts are accounts pop.

There is a clone of CCC and a backup Time Machine.

I tried the "click Activate market" suggestion contained in e-mail accounts, which only stopped the re - download old emails until the accounts have been reactivated. I also activated iCloud (IMAP) on and outside, who did nothing.

It would be nice to have the files on my Mac and the restored rules. Get the back emails would be nice, but it's not vital because I have them in PDF format via e-mail pro archiver and the intendant of mail and keep only the most recent in Mail.

    Thank you

away from the computer for a few days (left on), opened the mail, and are there records on my Mac. so something just need more time.

gmail accounts, no old email has been downloaded anew. gmx and University accounts, all emails have been downloaded again and are marked unread. I can live with and will be 'old' trash immediately.

All the old mails files on my Mac have always disappeared. for me it is perfect, so I won't have any duplicates in my backup, backup pdf being dependent on the journey and he will back up since V3 now instead of V2.

not having no not old e-mails after a normal mac app store upgrade could be called dysfunctional, even if it turned out to be ideal for my setup, depends do not Mail to keep all my email anyway.

  • Thunderbird impossible sendmail on mail server yahoo after upgrading to Windows 7 Pro on an ASUS BP1AD PC. Tried 31.2 24.6 configured in IMAP & Thunderbird.

After recently upgrading to Windows 7 Pro on an ASUS BP1AD PC, I can receive emails but NOT send using the yahoo mail server. I am set up to use the IMAP protocol. Other e-mail servers/accounts do not have this problem. I get the error message right is an alert which States: "an error has occurred when sending mail. The mail server responded: unverified address - see http://help.yahoo.com/I/us/yahoo/mail/manage/sendfrom-07.html. Please make sure your e-mail address is correct in your mail preferences and try again"if my email in Thunderbird is good enough upward with i. sending messages. Is there something obvious that I'm missing?

did you actually check your mailing address in your web account to yahoo? That is to say had them send you a special courier to check that it actually works? Sounds stupid, but they made me do it years ago.

OS X Server: Troubleshooting with the Profile Manager

How to reset the profile to its original State Manager

    Update Server 3.2.1 fail

  • Parse error the file server clients.xml - after upgrade to Windows XP

After a lot of Googling, any discussion of this "error analysis of the server clients.xml file" is centered around the problems in Windows 7 before the last update. But I'm in version 4.0 on Windows XP and it worked fine for several months... After this last series of XP was updated a few days ago, I now get the connection analysis problem and a reinstallation of the client has not changed anything.

With more precision, I had used the client to connect to the ESXi machine, then was downloading a large vmdk on the local computer from the data store and it was abandoned in the early hours of the morning to 67% complete, and when I discovered it in the morning, the local PC had been restarted , with alert windows to system tray "Due Windows install an important update and restart your computer" etc. I also rebooted on the ESXi machine management agents, does not.

Have not tried to restore to a restore like still - point finally need to keep the machine upgraded to windws last orders. I can hit the ESXi machine from another computer XP adjacent to the computer problem, same vlan, etc by using the virtual Client, no problem.

The logs show that the error is caused by a (probably on ESXi) clients.xml file check with result a "ambiguous match." Uninstall the vSphere client must leave info register behind, or the IPS machine is to remember something on my local computer connecting to it somewhere...

  • Is errors with Ubuntu 14.04 libavcodec after upgrading to Firefox 50.0, there any solution for this without downgrading to an older version?

Streaming audio of various websites stops working after the upgrade (on computers). A site http://saleminteractivemedia.com/ListenLive/Player/WWTCAM says: libavcodec can be vulnerable and is not supported and must be updated to play the video. Podbean sites say: no compatible source was found for this media. Some sites simply do nothing. I don't know if there is a way to upgrade libavcodec in Ubuntu. The press release of Firefox 50.0 says «Blocked versions of libavcodec» plu 54.35.1

Problem solved. The latest Ubuntu updates allow video and audio to play streams and the error message no longer appears.

  • Syntax error of ACLs in PIX list after upgrade, need urgent help!

    Hello everyone

    We have a facility including Cisco ACS + a VPN 3005 concentrator and a PIX 515E (7.2.4)

We have improved the version 7.0 to 7.2.4 PIX and suddenly our downloadable access list has been getting refused when authenticated users against GBA.

What radius of debugging in the PIX we found typing this line in the list of downloadable access gives the error and prevent users from the ACL list.

    "deny ip any 192.168.0.0 0.0.255.255.

PIX refused to treat their auth request when it encounters this line.

Very well, we said, we changed the ACL syntax for that: deny ip any 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0

Does the PIX treat the ACL.

We were happy to some time until what VPN users started complaining.

It seems that the VPN 3005 cannot process the syntax we entered the PIX!

VPN 3005 does not seem to be able to manage the acl line "deny ip any 192.168.0.0 255.255.0.0.

It can handle that "deny ip any 192.168.0.0 0.0.255.255!

    Who cannot manage the PIX...

I am a loss for what to do here...

We got the VPN users who cannot surf now with these problems of ACL.

What can I do? Someone else encountered this?

We have improved the VPN 3005 to the latest SW version

    Really need help here guys!

    Thank you

I don't think that Cisco has never changed anything on the PIX. It uses from day one subnet masks as far as I KNOW and Conc VPN use masks with joker as IOS. You can use the convert-netmask-acl command on the SAA to solve this problem. In this way, you define a willdcard ACL on the ACS/AAA server, then use this command on the ASA to use the downloadable ACLs even for both devices (PIX, VPNC).

    Please note so useful.

  • Could not open after upgrade to Yosemite After Effects

I recently upgraded my macbook pro to yosemite and after effects upgrade now has a circle with a line through it and not let me open. I get the error that I can't use this version of the application with this version of os x. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I see it should work fine.

I have Adobe After Effects CS6 11.0 and spin it on a macbook pro late 2011 with i7 and 8 GB of ram.

Install the After Effects CS6 (11.0.4) updated:
