  I have a Photosmart 6510 and a HP laptop computer connected wireless.  They worked together wonderfully since a few months ago, I installed the printer.  The wifi was briefly in standby.  When I sleep and tried to print I get an error message that the printer is not found.  The printer indicates that the wifi is on (blue light is on and the internet window shows that it is connected ad gives all network information, including the IP address.  I tried all my usual electronic bugs: turn the printer off and back on, unplug the printer and let it rest, reboot the laptop, etc.   I am running Windows 7.  With my old HP printer, I get an error message when the printer is offline, that would allow me to go to a "fix" and click to get back online.  I couldn't find this option now.

  Nothing works (the mobile web access so I know it is related also).

  Are there other things I can try before I have to go through the hassle of reinstalling the printer?  I hope there is an easier difficulty.

  And, if I have to reinstall it, I have to write it?

  I fixed it.  I unplugged the router and the modem, plugged them back in and click on the reset button on the router and the laptop and printer now talk to each other once more.

  There is a problem with this laptop.  Before even I had a wireless printer, I have everything reset completely to the laptop if there is a power failure (but not to the modem in stanby mode).

  My second question is always true since I have to reinstall Windows 7.  Once that I have reinstall the printer do I need to re-register it?

  To start Devmgmt.msc type device manager in the Start Menu / RUN box.  Make sure that the camera is fixed when you look in the Device Manager.

  I have a Lexmark Pinnacle Pro 901 printer I bought at the office supply store there are several moonths. I hung it, and it worked for a short period, then I got a screen prompt saying that there is no connection between the printer and the computer. I was on the phone and even authorized Lexmark technicians to have remote access to the computer 2 times. I've been on the phone with them about 10 times and had even them I would send printer back and they sent me new printer. I even had a friend local tech come and he has reinstalled printer drivers, each time, that it's the same thing, printer will work for one or two jobs and then stops printing. I can still make copies and yesterday I scanned and sent by e-mail a document, the Green WIFI light is on. I'm so frustrated that I just want to get rid of this printer. Help!

  I get this error at all times when working in the ancestry.com Web site. I have to reload the page on almost every search I do on this Web site. It is the site of the ONLY I get this error message, can run uninterrupted for several hours on other sites and never get this message.   I am trying to create a colortracker using the myRIO. The system is pan tilt servo with a webcam. The project works well and is able to follow and move with the desired color. However, in order to continue the project, I want to ensure the system with another device for the perception of depth and want to use the host computer for webcam and image processing and the myrio to get signals for the servos. The idea is to connect two webcams directly to the computer usb ports and keep the myRIO connected to everything does time i.e. no wifi. Can anyone guide me as to how I would go about sending signals constantly between the computer host and myRIO?

  I advise to use Variables shared Network-Published or network stream.

  I called HP support.  The technology was very knowledgeable and accommodating.  HP Smart Install program (in the printer and on CD) that came in the box was an old version.  I had to reset the printer back to factory default and to download the new firmware on the HP.com website.

  The oldest had an incorrect address router (network). You can see the address of the router (IP) when you perform the self-test (hold down the button "on") under the information network.  IPv4 address must be the same as your router.  Now my printer and computer are looking at the same network.

  Works great!  Love this LaserJet.  Faster than my last HP LaserJet 4 L.
