  I have checked these forums and I would like to give a big thanks to Jack Black, who advised a link to download Intel Wlan page, this solved my problem-driver Wlan driver was NOT available in the toshiba download page. I REQUIRED the PRO2000 INTEL "DRIVER XP 32 / 2000. Thank you once again, Jack.

  I have a problem with the Base system, Usb controller and Ethernet controller, although the USB devices on the right side of the unit work. These items are listed in the other devices category in Device Manager with the black-yellow exclamation next to them.

  I worked my way through all the LAN DRIVERS from the toshiba download page, can't installed ethernet.
  Similarly, the base system - I tried sd card download (suggested to this support page) and other downloads.
  Nobody knows for certain what the base system is?
  ANYONE KNOW WHAT DRIVERS I NEED OR WHERE TO GET THEM?

  Win XP is known as the Microsoft operating system better personally I prefer Win XP. But finally it s your own decision that you want to use.

  Recently, I went down my HP Pavilion HP Pavilion g6 - 2264ca Notebook PC of Windows 8 for Windows 7. Only Windows 8 drivers are listed on the support page, but they seemed all to install and works very well except for my CONTROLLER USB and ETHERNET. It is not that all drivers in the title of the support page and update of Windows cannot find them, neither can update of pilot programs. Here's what it looks like in Device Manager.

• 970cse with airport express and USB printing

  I have a hp 970cse on the network via a USB cable and the Airport express. Router is AirPort Extreme. iMac (OSX 10.9.2) sees and prints well wireless. iPad (IOS 7.1) is on the network, but can't find the printer. Prints from the possible ipad using this config? Thx for any help

  The other problem is that I want to use the USB cable AND the wireless... is it possible? I read that the connection of the ethernet cable will cause the wireless to cut.  BUT the USB cable will too?

  My small wireless indicator is not lit on the system... I guess it should be, but I don't know how or where that light?

  We have 1 physical printer BUT we have 2 logical printers here: computer will treat is a wireless printer and USB printer is another so add it again, it's similar to that.

  You should be able to connect the two, but not Ethernet and wireless at the same time.

  I got a new computer with Windows 7 x 64 OS and I can't get the printer to work.

  The installation program is not accepted as I get a message that the resource file are not available.

  I then added the printer manually without success.

  The strange thing is that it shows in devices and printers but nothing prints.

  Initially, it has the usual green check that the default printer then becomes a warning sign yellow when I try to print.

  Right-click on the printer and select "Printer properties" and select "Canon MF4100 series UFRII LT" in the SUP menu if it exists, this name may be different in your machine. After the Properties window shows tab select the 'Port '. change the port to another USB port (the one that the printer is connected to), and then apply the changes. Your problem should be solved.

  When I connect my extreme Apple to my Linksys 120n/wifi modem should I disable the wifi modem. And should I connect my ethernet cable to my home network for the Linksys or the Apple Extreme. MacBook on the network can see the hard drive connected to the extreme USB but my smart TV and AV receiver cannot. They are hard cable cat 5 ethernet screws or can be wifi. Thank you

  Thank you for asking your question here in Apple communities. To ensure you get the best answer based on the installer that you hope to get, here are the items that I recommend to help you with your question.

  Airport extreme Setup Guide

  Plug your AirPort Extreme

  Before you plug your AirPort Extreme, rst plug cables appropriate to the ports you want to use:

  • Connect the Ethernet cable connected to your cable or DSL modem (if you will connect to the Internet) on port Ethernet WAN (<).

  • Connect a USB cable to the USB port (d) on your AirPort Extreme for a USB printer, a hard drive or a hub.

  • Connect an Ethernet cable from an Ethernet device to one of the ports LAN Ethernet (G). After connecting the cables for all devices, you plan to use, connect the power cord to the power socket and plug your AirPort Extreme into a power outlet. There is no power switch.

    Important: Use only the power cord provided with your AirPort Extreme.

    When you plug in the AirPort Extreme power cord into a power outlet, the indicator light turns amber when starting, then amber ash during installation. The status led lights green once your AirPort Extreme is configured and connected to the Internet or a network.

    When you connect the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet ports, the lights above them glow green.

  AirPort base stations: install and configure a wireless network extended (802.11n)

  Wi - Fi base stations: extend the range of your wireless network by adding additional base stations to Wi - Fi

  So, I just got a refurbed Time Capsule/Extreme to replace my old, short ' squat extreme n.  I have the new network that all together up and happy, no worries.

  Back in the day, I used to have a fleet of 1 St gen expresses established providing the air in different rooms and connected to the printer in the office. They disappeared for a long time now, but it occurred to me that it would be nice if I could put my older extreme, now retired, to such use.  I want to put in the office and my printer on the USB port.  I really didn't need to "extend" the network or anything fancy.  With my old man expresses, I just put them up to 'join' the existing network.  This "join an existing network" doesn't seem to be an option available when I run today Airport utility.  Can I do this?

  Sorry, but no. You can't have an AirPort Extreme 'join a wireless network' for the purposes of sharing printers or hard disks. At best, you could connect by Ethernet to your Time Capsule to this effect.

  It would be useful to know if your "cable modem" is just a modem or a modem combination and router or gateway. To address this issue if it please provide brand and model please?

• Connection PC Win7 for iMac USB printer

  Until yesterday, I had a printer is connected (USB connection) to a Time Capsule, and our laptop Windows 7 given the printer and would print it. But due to persistent problems with airport part not always wanted to connect with our satellite internet, I went to a separate router and the stop of the part of the airport.   Trying to install Print Services for Windows Hello on the Win7 PC. This app will allow you to see the shared printer on the iMac and allow you to print on it.

• Restoration of Ethernet and Firewire

  Can I drive in the wrong direction here, but have you checked the PRAM Battery? I don't know if LANDAU has nothing to do with the problems that you encounter, but if the computer was turned off and unplugged the principal while you were on vacation the LANDAU could be corrupted.

• I'm on a mac and my printer does not print

  I'm on a mac and it sends the document to my printer (Hp Photosmart 4680 all-in-one), but the printer does not print. My printer worked fine and now it will not print. I'm doing something wrong. This has happened once before and I am frustrated with and left for about 2 days, I had tried everything I could think of, unplug the unit for an hour or more, uninstalling and reinstalling, checked ink levels they were very good.   Make sure that your OS X is healthy:
  
  1. download and install OS X Combo Update.
  2. download and install the printer driversHP from Apple.
  
  Finally, download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & Driver" link at the top of this page (if you want).

  Do not connect your printer via a USB hub, connect directly to your Mac.

  I have a toshiba satellite A300 and awhile back he had a fall and had damage to the ethernet port and USB ports on the left side of the laptop.
  Ethernet still works when the position but the cord torn and the ethernet is no longer rest in.
  2 USB ports work barely often or not at all but there's no visible damage, but can be on the top of the curcuit Board. I opened.

  I was wondering what would be the best way to fix it.
  I opened it now, as said, but decided to post on here before thinking to look further for damages and resolve.

  I want to know what I can fix it, it seems that the ethernet port is welded (how ever) there and would need to replace the whole motherboard. Is it so?

  I think that you can't do anything :(
  Simple components such as LAN or USB ports are part of the motherboard and I doubt you could replace or repair easily
  An electrician who has a few years of experience with these motherboards may be able to fix it, but I doubt that a common user like me or you'll fix it

  In my opinion, the motherboard must be replacaced

• Tecra A8: Problem with the USB printer connected to the Port Replicator III

  I have a problem with my Tecra A8, year Advanced Port Replicator III and a USB printer. With the printer connected to a USB port on the Port Replicator, I have to wait 2 minutes for printing to start. When it is connected directly to a USB port on the laptop and the laptop disconnected from the Port, printing starts immediately. I have the latest drivers from the Isensys of Canon LBP 2900 installed and Windows Vista professional as the operating system.

  Seems like a strange question... Already done the standard procedure in the event of such errors? :)

  The standard procedure is somehow similar to the following:

  -Update your BIOS
  -Update all the drivers for your machine
  -Update your printer drivers
  -Update your operating system

  If all else fails, then try an another Portrep if available, maybe you need to contact your dealer for an another portrep for the test.

  Something like this should be your way. And then you sucessfully made a TROUBLESHOOTIN´ ;)
