ex485 remote connection cannot see music

I went through the entire setup for remote access to my ex485 MediaSmart Server.

Everything works well except for one thing.  I can see all my photos so that indicates

that the bones of connection works fine.  In my music, I can see all the folders, Albums, artists,

etc., except when I browse the songs there is no track (0) in one of the albums.

They are there on the server itself and I can play them fine on my local network.

It doesn't matter if I connect remotely via a computer or my iphone (via HP MediaSmart iStream).

Any ideas?

Larry

OK, I played a bit with this enough to make it work.  Turns on when you configure Twonkymedia you have to tell it to serve all Types of files in the music folder, not only the music files.  iTunes rips of CD to m4a and Twonky file types does not seem to know that they are music files.  Change all types actually serve them as well.

  • Cannot see music in iTunes, even if it's in iTunes Media folder

    MacBook Pro running Yosemite

    iTunes 12.3.2.35

I recently had an iMac decommissioning to my Macbook pro. I backed up all of the iMac on an external drive.

I restored to the Macbook - btu then decided that I wanted to have my music on an external one, to save space on my macbook - so I moved the music folder more, without realizing that I also moved the itunes library. (I'm a DJ and intended to move my music files so only other not in iTunes - huge library).

So now, I moved everything back to the iTunes media to the user/music/iTunes/iTunes Media folder.

This includes applications, movies, music, podcasts - it's my entire iTunes. It's all sitting there in the folder. BUT, when I open iTunes there is nothing there.

I tried to remove my macbook (iTunesLibrary.itl) iTunes library and replace it with the iMac (form backup) library file, but nothing has changed.

I can see all the files in the music folder - if I click on a song it will open iTunes to play, but when I open iTunes it is as if he does not see the files.

Have you tried to open iTunes by holding down the Option key? Select Choose library, then navigate to the

  • "Cannot connect to 201.86.73.83 remote connection! (what could cause this popup? where to check?)

I tried to ask as to make following the question to someone else, but no response; try as a new query.

DSL, router Linksys (tomato), a Windows 7 computer, put in place last November for the new project of a member of the family.

The person who has implemented it access distance.  Here, it is used for Word and Excel, no music or video online.

I came yesterday morning and found a popup in the lower corner toolbar on the right that says:

"Cannot connect to 201.86.73.83 remote connection!

(the IP is in the Brazil, I've never heard of him, found nothing more on this subject).

The person who set up the machine has a long experience of Windows, changed some settings on the router and says "there is no evidence of the intrusion, so don't worry.

But I know in general that "the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence" - so I'm still a little worried and if I see that again once I know what it means or where to look.

Is there a log file where I could search by application (which one?) no matter what happened in the hours before, I noticed that popup?

I do not know what newspapers is relevant if I can get to the lists and create a custom, view if I knew what to check.

I don't know how long the popup is also present on the screen, the machine had been on it during the night and as soon as I took a screenshot of popup is gone.   It would be over an 8 hour period I want to check out.

I am trying to accept an invitation from my mom's remote assistance and this is what I got after entering the password: connect Remote Assistance could not be established because the DNS name of the remote computer cannot be resolved.

You get the error "a Remote Assistance connection could not be established because the DNS name of the remote computer could not be resolved" when the requesting computer (the computer 'demand' help) sends its private IP address instead of its public IP address in the request for assistance. The solution is 'easy' for some and difficult for others. I present here for your perusal:

    (1) obtain the public IP address of the requesting computer (by visiting a web page such as http://www.whatismyip.com)
    (2) save the remote assistance request computers
    (3) modify the remote request for Assistance (RcBuddy.MsRcIncident) using a text editor (such as notepad) and replace the private - section of IP address should be something like this:
    RCTICKET = 65538,1,192.168.1.33:3389 «»
with the public IP address from whatismyip.com or elsewhere - should be something like this:
    RCTICKET = 65538,1,74.125.47.147:3389 «»
    (4) save the file of RcBuddy.MsRcIncident 'new '.
    (5) double click it to connect to the computer needing help
    (6) cross your fingers and hope it works!

I hope this helps someone else - if it's too much trouble, feel free to use the tools mentioned elsewhere in this thread.

I do not recognize this service / connection / program / process.

I am a number (a lot of) references to something called "HP connected remotely" - maybe it's the program / service to which you are referring.

I can offer the following ideas:

    Easy:

If you have not already done so, just try to shut down the computer completely > wait 15 seconds (or as long as you can stand it) > to start the computer from a stop condition, and log

    Locate the deviant service:

Control Panel > display icon > Administrative Tools > System Configuration >

Services tab > CHECK temporarily hide all Microsoft services >

check the list for the offending program > uncheck if found >

Clear the check BOX Hide all Microsoft services > OK

If the notification after the connection, check / adjust:

Windows key > settings > applications and features > search for the offending program and uninstall

Windows key > settings > Notifications > Scan quick action icons > > if you find the offending program > Add or remove quick actions > drag the indicator to OFF for this program

    Windows key > settings > Notifications >

Drag OFF Get notifications for apps and other shippers

Slide OFF receive advice, tips and suggestions that you use Windows

    Reset the network

Although extreme, the following might help if the parameter is somehow stuck in your network.

Read / understand the warning on action requiring a reinstall of VPN / virtual switches.

Thus, if you use static IP address settings, these too, may need to put in place.

Windows key > settings > network > Network Reset

  • Satellite Pro L40 with realtek card: cannot see wlan Vista networks

    Hey

You just bought the L40 (Realtek card) and it cannot see wireless networks. The diagnosis of Vista, is that the wireless adapter must be turned on. Then, it will fail to start. Function key and F8 (wireless on/off switch) does nothing.

The wireless router is well - connected to an XP machine. I can connect to the router without a problem by using an ethernet cable.

Running on the latest Microsoft drivers.

    Pointers much appreciated.

    Thank you
    Frank

    Hello

you turned on the wireless the case switch on "ON"? Maybe you forgot this one, and this is perhaps the reason why it won´t work.

Please check and make sure that you then use the FN + F8 switch.

Would appreciate your comments on this...

    Welcome them

  • I haven't used itunes for some time and now have a new PC.  I've updated my account (change password) but when I connect to my music went?

I haven't used itunes for some time and now have a new PC.  I've updated my account (change password) but when I connect to my music went?  I am working on Win 8 and still have part of my collection on an ipod.

Unless you subscribe to iTunes game (which is not a complete solution anyway) your iTunes Library is on your previous PC - solution the easiest is to copy from here or from a backup.  For more information, see How to move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Support .  Previous purchases from the iTunes Store may be available for re - download - see download your past - purchases of Apple Support.

If none of these approaches allows to recover the contents of your library, see user turingtest2 on recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device library for a list of tools and methods that can be used to copy the media etc from iPod to iTunes.

    Hi Tommy,.

quick question for you: what you use an antivirus/security program?
Most of the time I have seen questions like these, it was because of an update an AV/security application, which changed its firewall settings.  Result: HUBERT pilots cannot communicate with the tuner; Media Center is no longer allowed outbound connections (eventually kill communication with the tuner, permanently killing the abilty to retrieve updates to the Guide.)
