Explorer Windows restarts after a minute arriving at log on screen or if I connect quickly the dialogue windows Explorer unhandled 0x00000000 in explorer.exe exception States: after repair of Windows XP running.

Windows Explorer restarts after a minute arriving at log on screen or if I connect quickly the dialogue windows Explorer States of exception unhandled 0x00000000 in explorer.exe: 0CX0000005: reading location access violation) X 00000000 Code: 0XC0000005, flags: 0 x 00000000 after you run Windows XP repair. Repeated repair Windows now for the third time, repair works OK but always produces the result above!. Initially, ran SFC/scannow, he ran very well modified some files but has not fixed the problem. Now I can't run Sfc/scannow in administrator mode in a repair console or environment (cmd) receive error "Windows file protection could not initialize the scanning of protected files. The specific error code is 0X000006ba [the RPC server is unavailable]. Can not access services through msconfig in safe mode, no available tab. When I click on Control Panel in safe mode, I get an error but control then window opens I can access to the services window, but as soon as I click on any service Windows Explorer plunges a black screen with only the white inscription SafeMode visible in each of the corners. When I try to access the sound module in safe mode, I have an error message and he abandoned me in safe mode desktop. Have no tab restore field in system restore to create a system restore point. In safe mode do not log off, restart or shut down (only windows explore drops leaving the black screen with text in each corner indicating the computer in safe mode, no recorded parameters.) Tried to run scanreg.exe & scanregw.exe run, cmd, mode console repair but command is unrecognized. When I tried to run all these commands using BartePe, the States of error cannot access raw disk. In safe mode, I can access the first level for example my computer folder, but when I double click on the c drive or any other drive nothing happens!

Access msconfig, run, cmd, Device Manager, uninstall programs etc. in safe mode.

I can easily re - install a new OS on the C partition, but I like challenges! Is there anyone with the skill out there who can offer suggestions for this mother of all XP flaws? (apart from the installation of a new version of Win XP)

Hi Semi_Tech,

• Windows does not load and displays a black screen when it is connected to the power supply

Original title - Windows Vista running on my laptop Sony VAIO

Trying to turn on my laptop using the built in battery nothing happens.  When the laptop is connected to the power supply and turned on Windows does not.  It shows something in the sense that it does not properly off.  It tries to load back to a system restore point before the last stop, but seems to fail again during this process.  All that is displayed is a black screen. Currently the power on light is on, the battery light is on, but the drive activity light is off.

Yet once again, I switched on the laptop and finally the Startup Repair process is automatically called.  After the display of the bar to attempt repairs, the system has been repaired successfully.  As a result, the I ran my Norton anti-virus, followed by Windows Updatesoftware.

• Error message: explorer.exe (exception error: 0xc0000005)

Hi all

Hoping someone can give me a little more insight on this error.

I have a PC that is running Server 2008 R2. Recently, Windows Explorer has crashed on me. Here's the info I pulled from Event Viewer:
The failing application name: Explorer.EXE, version: 6.1.7601.17514, time stamp: 0x4ce7a144
The failed module name: nvui.dll, version: 8.17.13.4195, time stamp: 0x56ab2bcc
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Offset: 0x00000000000248d6
ID of the process failed: 0xa60

The failing application path: C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
Path of the failing module: C:\Program NVIDIA Corporation\Display\nvui.dll
Report I would be: 0b33d046-0fb4-11e6-acfc-00235482096a [/ code]

Then it happened again:
The failing application name: Explorer.EXE, version: 6.1.7601.17514, time stamp: 0x4ce7a144
Name of the failed module: SHELL32.dll, version: 6.1.7601.18952, time stamp: 0x55c3a0ed
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Offset: 0x000000000020161f
ID of the process failed: 0x118c

The failing application path: C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
The failed module path: C:\Windows\system32\SHELL32.dll
Report I would be: dcf1f04b-0fb4-11e6-acfc-00235482096a [/ code]

In the first crash, I see the path of the failing module as a DLL from NVidia, but the second is something different. I ran sfc/scannow, and he sent back a message saying that he 'finds corrupted files, but could not solve some of them. I searched a bit and found the following:

http://www.thewindowsclub.com/Windows-resource-protection-found-corrupt-files

http://www.SevenForums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/104768-troubleshooting-Explorer-exe-crashing-issues.html

Would one of these something I could do to fix corrupted files? Is there something else I'm missing with these crash reports?

Any help/insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

Most Dell products come with a restore partition, you should be able to access from F11, but if you have formatted the entire hard drive this partition will be gone.

• Screen freezes and restarts after repair

Hey guys,.

So I just got my HD Motorola Razr Maxx return of repair Motorola Droid. Before he went to repair, this device has been reset to chance the two stock (no new apps on Store) and custom. This device was not docked or altered in any way other than with game store applications and widgets from Google. Until the repair has taken place, the device had system version 9.18. After that I came back from repair, he returned with the version 9.20 System. I got the camera Thursday and since then the screen randomly froze a couple of times. It is quite frustrating. You guys have any suggestions on things I should try or should I send it back to Motorola for repair again?

Thank you

Brandon

If it was my phone and I had a backup that I'd send it in. Could give them a chance to do things the second time around. I hope this helps.

First of all. Thank you very much for your help!

Yesterday, I was able to find the answer to my problem:

So:

1. I used consol secure with sleeve and key_strength 2048 (because there were problems connecting my Chrome, IE11 or Firefox to the Weblogic administration Console and the https certificate)

2. I refreshed DemoIDentity, jks with certificate of keystrength from 512 to 1024 due to the blocking of the browser.

• Computer automatically shuts down and restarts after 5 minutes run time

Two days ago, restarted my computer, which worked very well for a few hours, (& a few years) suddenly automatically.   He then ran fine for about 4 hours when it restarts again.   He has now made that ~ 20 times, some time to restart after 5 minutes.   It also does if I connect on behalf of my wife, or if I boot in safe mode and log on as an administrator.   As much as I know I have no virus problem, but I can't be sure that it didn't stay on long enuf to run my antivirus program to the end.   Malwarebytes and Superantispyware both showed no problems two days ago, but now they also will not work I tried to backdate the system (System Restore) to last week, but failed, perhaps because I removed an old Norton SystemWorks program two days ago, when I got hurt, because I thought that maybe that's the problem.

Is it a hardware problem or software?

Now, I am trying get useful data on the device by frustrating bursts of 5 minutes.   Windows XP, service pack 3 with automatic updates.

Thanks for any help.

As a follow-up, I now declare that apparently the drive was packing with something irreplaceable on it grilled, so I'm ready for a new machine.

• Disable automatic restart after Windows Update for the home edition of Windows 8 forced

I use Windows 8 home edition.  I want to keep automatic updates turned on, but I don't want my computer restarts automatically after some Windows updates are installed.

I am aware that there is a notification on the lock screen, indicating that a reboot is needed, but normally, I keep my computer on all the time and don't ever see this notification.  There are no notifications on the desktop until 15 minutes before the forced restart.  Still, he seems to be at an inopportune time and translates into loss of work.

I saw messages and articles describing the methods of disabling restarting forced on different versions of Windows by changing the registry keys or by using the Group Policy Editor.  But Windows 8 Home edition does not have the registry key mentioned nor has he a Group Policy Editor.

Is there a way to display the notification on the desktop even more in advance?

Is it possible to postpone indefinitely or completely disable the forced reboot?

I get an error message "Windows cannot find gpedit.msc", probably because I have the Home version and not Pro (even though I really don't like about the reason, I get the error, to be honest).  Which unfortunately for Member States does nothing to increase the probability that I'm going to buy the Pro version (of Win8 or any later version) and instead reduced the probability that I will never buy another product of MS at all.  If anything this behavior makes more sense to a professional (i.e. IT Department coordinated group policy settings) rather than a home setting, so for me to have no way to remove/fix this "feature" really turns me off purchase Windows for domestic use.

Oh if you have a House version, you will get the editors of group policy.  Actually, politics made the most sense for users.  Send the editorial at MS, not me.

I hope you can help me with my problem. I have an old nokia pc suite version family installed in my laptop (about 6 years old - basic Windows Vista Edition operating system), but today I decided to upgrade to the latest (suite version 7). I suggest to try to start the computer in safe mode and check if you can start:

Since you've already tried to repair the boot and system, restore and if you are not able to start the computer in safe mode, then try to contact the manufacturer for help.
