Windows failed to restart after installing Nokia PC Suite

Hello world

I hope you can help me with my problem. I have an old nokia pc suite version family installed in my laptop (about 6 years old - basic Windows Vista Edition operating system), but today I decided to upgrade to the latest (suite version 7). I was able to install it successfully. When I launched the app, it worked fine, but when I plugged my phone (Nokia X 2) via a USB cable which has been when I started having problems. When I inserted the usb cable provided with the phone to my laptop, a prompt appears that my machine was installed the drivers for my device. After about 5 minutes, the installation is complete and it prompted me to restart my computer and so I did. Before it turns off, the machine said he finished the updates first and then he did. When he returned, Windows doesn't have to load and restart my computer.  The full error message: "cannot start Windows. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To solve the problem:
1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. choose the language settings and then click on "next".
3. click on "Repair your computer."
If you do not have the disk, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
File: ntoskrnl.exe
Status: 0xc0000098
Info: Windows could not load because a required file is missing or corrupt. »

I already followed the instructions I have the disc with me, but my laptop still does not work. I did repair the boot and system restore, but it does not solve the problem. Please help me. Thank you very much!

Hello

I suggest to try to start the computer in safe mode and check if you can start:

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Since you've already tried to repair the boot and system, restore and if you are not able to start the computer in safe mode, then try to contact the manufacturer for help.

It will be useful.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

    Hello

I suggest you borrow the CD of windows vista to your friends

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

I suggest you check in safe mode.

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

If you be able to start your computer in safe mode, I'd say make clean boot and check.

Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After troubleshooting, make sure the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Hi marraqueta,.

To disable the automatic restart in case of system error, follow these steps:

    1. reboot your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears.

    2. Select disables automatic system failure reboot when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and press ENTER.

Subsequently, when a problem causes a blue screen of death or another major error that stops the system, the PC will automatically restart. It will be necessary to restart manually.

  • New Satellite A200 is restarted after installing XP

    Hi all

I hope someone can help with this problem.
I have a new Satellite A200 and made in the wake of the SP2 and matrix storage drivers.
I completely deleted all partitions on the disk and installed XP (slipstreamed version).
All going well until the first reboot and then it restarts just over and over again.
If I have safe mode of choice it loads correctly and I can't install drivers etc.
I wonder if it is a BIOS issue?
I tried to update using windows bios update for XP and it will not allow in safe mode.
The reboot happens before even starting XP screen appears, hard drive blinks twice, then it power cycles.
I hope that I'm not the first to encounter this problem.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

Mhhh very strange to me, it looks like a software problem!
In Windows XP, the default setting is for the computer to automatically reboot when a fatal error occurs. If this fatal error only occurs when you stop, the system reboots automatically.

Have you noticed the same course the Vista OS?

What you could do is to install the Vista from the recovery CD again, and then update the BIOS to the XP version.
After this procedure install the XP with all the service packs and the compatible Intel matrix Storage Manager

    Good luck

    Hello Joey

If right now you go back to Windows XP and the system is slow correct? You have the drivers installed since you went back to XP? If not then click here and select your system. This will bring up a list of available drivers for you. Also, I've included a link below to get the drivers for your new video card. My problem with the question is if your system has enough power to support the video card. Here are the specifications of your card. Check the configuration required for the map and you ensure that you have adequate food. Let me know if it helps. Thank you.
