[F5] Output power

Hello world!

I wanted to my screen of Ikan extrenal directly from the camera. And now I'm stuck. First I thought that good cable should be LEMO in DC (quite expensive and hard to find), but now I think that good is Hirose 4 pin in DC. Which is correct?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I just realized that there is a post open on power output, then perhaps someone can verify is this cable will work for me:
http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/index.php?t=product/Hawk-woods_la-48
Not sure is above one is 4 pin...

It's a standard pin 4 HRS depending on the two Sockets at the rear left of the F5/55 (without the VCR 4 k attached)

There is no connector Lemo on the F5/55 standard.

Check with HawkWoods they advertise it is be appropriate for the BlackMagic and may be wired differently to standard HRS DC wiring.

  • What is CH 0 output power awg PXI - 5422?

I would like to know what is the minimum and maximum of the CH 0 terminal power in my AWG.  It is inserted in a PXI - 1031 dc chassis.  I looked through the sheet attached PXI - 5422 and page 10, it lists some tension, the configuration of the amplifier and the dBm output power.  For example, Low Gain--> Vpp--> dBm 4.0 1.00 seems to be a unit of energy conversion because putting Vpp 1.00 through the equation of power gives Pout = 10 * log(V^2/R*1000) = 10 * log([(1.00/(sqrt(2)*2)]^2/50*1000) = 4,0 dBm written on the technical data sheet .  In my equation, I took the peak voltage in crete, divided by 2 to get the voltage Amplitude divided by sqrt (2) to convert it to RMS and then used the power = voltage ^ equation 2/resistance and finally the Watts to the conversion of dBm.  I guess as a 50 ohm load for which is what my AWG is currently set to.

If my analysis is correct, this implies the PXI - 5422 has AWG of a range of output of-20, 50 dB (0,00891 Watts) up to 25.6 dBm (363 mW).  The problem is that the 2 I work with scientists say it's too much power, because the output power of the GTS should be able to be directly connected to the digitizer we (NI PXI-5761) and turn off the 25.6dBm will definitely FRY.  According to them, a range of 0-10 dBm is more reasonable than the power output CH0 AWG.

My analysis is correct?  Further reflection?

    Thanks for the research!

    Hello

It's Marcus of Engineering Application at National Instruments.  I've reviewed over your math and you are correct in your calculations.  To determine the power output of your PXI-5422, you will need to know the Vpps that you use and also the load to which you connect to the device.  These factors will then determine the power output of your PXI-5422.

    Kind regards

  • Output power of the frequency spectrum

    Hello

I have a pretty simple question. I m using the power spectrum of FFT and PSD vi. and have trouble understand output frequencies. If I understand the first line is DC-value and delta frequency then describe the following frequencies. But when I put for example in 8 points say sampling frequency of 4 Hz = 2 seconds of data to analyze, I'll be back 4 lines of data (including 0). If the first is DC, then the 2nd should be 1 / 2 Hz 1 Hz = 3rd place and 4th place = 3 / 2 Hz, but what about the frequency of 2 Hz Nyquist, why Don t I get this one? or is there something I don't understand?

I also tried the example of Units.vi of FFT spectrum and can understand, but I still Don t get it.

    Help, please!

    Best

    Jesper

FFT returns to power in frequency bins. The frequency of the bins is determined by the Fs (sampling frequency) divided by N (number of points), from DC (0Hz). For your case, the table returned would be:

    Bin 0: 0-0.5 Hz

    Bin 1: 0, 5 - 1 Hz

    Tray 2: 1-1.5 Hz

    Bin 3: 1.5 - 2 Hz

So effectively Bin 3 holds the power of 1.5 to 2 Hz (which contains your Nyquist frequency).

  • What USB port output power offers Satellite M70-159

    Hello!

    I have a Satellite M70-159 and I am looking to buy a 2.5 external HARD drive ".
I would like to know if the power supplied by the USB port of my laptop is 500mA or 1000mA because the disc external HARD I want to buy needs 1000mA to work.

Eitherwise what I can do to provide external power to work HARD disk?

    Thank you

    Hello

To my knowledge the notebooks USB ports provides the standard power of 500 my.
Generally if an external USB HDD what needs more than 500mA so special, the power cable external power is supplied with version 2.5, HARD drive or HARD drive comes with a double USB cable.
I hear double cable USB cable that supports 2 USB Sockets. In this case, you can connect the HARD drive to two USB ports.

  • Windows experience index for two different laptops with the same configuration of maximum output power

[I have two almost identical laptops Lenovo T61p and running W7 64 Ultimate b: has] has an Intel T7700 processor and 8 GB of RAM. [B] has a CPU of Intel T8300 with 4 GB of RAM. They are clocked at 2.6 GHz and have identical hard drives.

When the system is running Windows Experience Index, it does to 2.6 GHz. It doesn't matter what is the result.

When the system B runs the WEI, it becomes 780 MHz. In the end, he will return to run at 2.6 GHz. Needless to say that it will reduce its index to I / 2 of the other system. During any normal operation, the processor remains a 2.6 GHz

All other values of the indices are similar and irrelevant.

As far as I checked, the two system has the same configuration of power to maximum performance, I did not miss something. MSCONFIG are also identical.

Any ideas about where to look to fix this behavior?

    See you soon

WEI is a meaningless number that does not reflect anything in reality.  You win nothing in this hunt.  Because it is a useless number, that it has been deleted in windows 8

  • dv6500 due to flat battery and no ac adapter output power of

    Hi forum

    I have a laptop dv6646eo, p/n: KA051EA.

The battery has been dead for a while now and can only power for 30 seconds. It was not a problem, since I was always the power adapter plugged.

But one day, my pc is dead and when I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't last for as long as the battery can supply. Now, when the pc is off and that the power adapter connected, the blue "power" light is on and it recharges the battery. But when I turn on the pc, the light turns off and the pc is supllied on the battery, so loss of power within 30 seconds.

I don't think it's the battery, but it could be the power adapter that can't carry the load or is it a hardware problem in the pc (I hope not)?

I appreciate all the comments and answer your questions.

    Thank you =)

    Simon Spedtsberg, Denmark

    Hi, Simon:

I suspect a problem with the adapter. The fact that the light doesn't work doesn't mean much, but it could be even remotely a hardware problem with the notebook.

I don't know how you can test the adapter to make sure it's bad.

A device can take a maximum of five unit loads (500 my) to a USB 2.0 port.  The answer is no, it will not.

    Hello

Please can someone confirm the output power of the USB ports on the s3000-514? (E.g. 500mA?)

I intend to buy an external USB drive requiring 1000mA of power USB to work.

    UK.

I remember that USB 1.0 specifications are 150 USB 2.0 and for mAh 500 mAh.
A laptop usually provides enough power for an external 2.5 "HARD drive, but not for a 3.5" external HARD drive. Disks 3.5 "are equipped with an additional power supply.
Some USB hubs offer a power outlet in order to increase the maximum current available on each port (i.e. If you connect 2 external HARD drive or a HARD drive on a 2.5 USB1.0 port ")

Make sure you buy a 'box' that comes with an external power supply or is less with a second USB cable to connect a second USB port available just for more power.

Remember that external hard drives draw a LOT of energy out of the laptop that runs on batteries... In order to choose the correct POWER option than the second cable.

BTW, the USB port is protected for current requirements extended... it will just hang your PC, stop, or simply not work at all (you'll notice the disk HARD drives which will be very low on disk).

    I hope I could help

I recently bought an Eddie Bauer PSU which is repowered via a USB port. I wonder if it can be powered by the 2 amp for my mobile phone connector, so it would be good to know the output power of the USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports on this computer.  He can not find online.  Thanks for any help.

  • Equium P300-16 t - USB Power Port

My machine is less than 4 weeks old.

I recently bought a usb hub 2.0 4 generic ports for the system. When I plugged in (using the right side rear lane) I got my scanner and a USB connected. The scanner has not been turned on.

I found that if I tried to access computer or Windows Explorer they would hang with the 'not responding message '. After some bug I found that it was the hub 4 ports which was the problem because I could plug the memory stick into a port any and it worked fine.

I then plugged an old hub 4 ports (I had used with an old laptop and desktop) with the same features and it seemed to work although to be honest I've only tried in a port.

I contacted the seller and yes it was eBay and they suggested to try another port because it might be a power supply problem of the port and when I plugged on the left rear port that everything worked well, so thought it was.

This morning, I turned on and got an error that a usb device had failed and found it to be the hub. I then moved to the rear port of the right hand, that I had problems with initially and it works.

It would seem that the output power of the usb ports is fluctuating (know nothing about usb power levels) and just occasionally feeding the new hub (even if the led on the hub is turned on). Should I be concerned and can I do?

    Hello

AFAIK all USB 2.0 ports provides and support 500mA.
    It is a standard.

Some external USB devices require more power to work properly, and that's why the devices are equipped with external power supplies.
There are also devices that require more power just standard USB could provide, but devices with no external power supply.

In this case, it s a good idea to use a USB cable that can be connected to the 2 USB ports at the same time
My 2.5 USB HDD was delivered with this cable.

I remember that several USB hubs that also supports the external power supply and maybe you should try this hub

  • Satellite M50 of power not recognized

    Hi all

When I turn on my Satellite M50, it did not recognize my diet out and under voltage of the supply battery.
There is no problem with the computer before hand and there is no change of hard/software recently.

The LCD screen on the front indicators are all dark even with connected electrical output power.
I tried to have disconnected and reconnected as well as using other sources of output, but in vain.

    Help, please.

    Hello

You want to hear my personal suggestion?
    So I think that there are only two possibilities;
The power adapter is faulty or there is something wrong with the motherboard power supply.

But first the AC adapter should be checked.

  • Large signal output capacitance measurements

    Hi all

I'm working on a power amplifier and I want to measure the ability to output under large signal condition. I use a non-linear model of the GaN power transistor.

Power output is about 36 dBm, f = 8.2 GHz

    I tried both methods:

    (1) I have spent under bias Vgs - 6V to 1V, Vds = 28V. I use solver C_PRC linear tab to find the parallel to the output capacity. I got a chart that changes from 0.3pF to 0.5pF. In this simulation I don't use tuner to impedance, just ports (50 ohm) and sources of bias.
    (2) amplifier is biased to 28V and 125mA. Then, I drive amplifier with of 20dBm to 30dBm input power. In this simulation, I used HBTUNERs to maximum power output (power input 25dBm at the entrance) and the output. I can see there is a change in capacity at the entrance vs input power change. However, in the output, production capacity is constant and 0.52pF. I am able the ability of the drain of transistors, tuner. I use great Solver for the parameter measuring signal Y and calculate the capacity.

The interesting thing, I can meause entry changes easly to large signal capacity, but output capacity is constant!
    I have two questions:

    (1) why the three measures are different?

    (2) for large signal measurements, for example; 30dBm output, 30 v peak-to-peak output average 40dBm 50 v peak-to-peak. So, there is a change in capacity over a period of time. When I measure the Solver big signal, Solver uses the high peak values? If so, can I change low peak value?

    (3) can be used for important signals gamma probes?

    Thank you
