Failure to PCI-5102

Hello

I wonder if I did something wrong with my scanner 5102.

He worked for a few weeks in production, but now it does not work, just a half noisy sinusoid.

After inspecting I found 3 sons than here where it is burned on the circuit board.

When in production, I put 5, 15, -15, 24, and 78VDC and I measure the AC of the component to see if there is not too much noise.

Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

KindRegards,

Bart

Hello Bart.

Thanks for your post on the forum! The 5102 OR has a range of measurement (with a x 1 probe attenuation) of +/-5V. The protevtion power surge is (DC + AC and AC with maximum of 10 kHz!) + / 42V.

Best regards

whether the Council is good (not damaged).

Support team, NOR could you tell me what I can do?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi IvanB!

There are several steps that you can do for troubleshooting:

1 - try swapping the PCI Slot on the same PC and check if the Device Manager detects the device as new hardware PCI, he won't tell a 5102 is cause you must have NI Scope installed.

2 - if it does not work on the same PC, try another and check if windows detects it and if it appears on the Device Manager.

    3. - If it does not, your best option is to send the jury to OR so they can check if its dysfunction, for Mexico number is: 01800010793 for more information.

Hope this helps, another thing is that you can call your provider because it is a second-hand, he must answer in case this does not work.

    Have a great day!

  • Intermittent failure with PCIe-6251

We had a power outage intermitant which was worse.  It seems to be due to the card PCIe-6251.  We have Labview 7.0 and DAQmx 8.1 the system as well as a PCI-GPIB and a PCI-6711.  Periodically, computer would lock up and reset either not conclude card, or not able it to reset it until the power of the full test system was cut long enough for + 5V standby to drain.  The problem seemed to be exacerbated by the ambient temperature.  When the test system has been moved from other external heat sources (Ie the cooler for the laser), the problem seems to disappear or has been reduced to less than 1 time per week usually when labview program was executed.

The test case itself has recently been rebuilt and the problem returned with a vengeance.  After additional cooling was added, and the problem persists, we started checking temperatures of housing.  The internal system temperature is 42 C worst such case reported by the chipset.  We have improved the power supply to make sure it wasn't a collapse of power line causing the problems.  When we catch the problem in the error log, it is an ATI video driver or NIPALK.sys because the production chain continues to go down to this we charge software is installed on a different machine and moved the cards and installed.  It seemed to work perfectly for maybe 2 hours and then started throwing memory parity errors.  The computer is outside the grid of test and cold.  If we draw the PCIe card, the parity errors go away and all is well.  The problem is, is that it is the heart of the control system.  The original computer is not plant 2 or 3 times a day, so it takes a good amount of time trying to verify a fix.

Unless I'm mistaken, DAQmx 8.1 is the latest driver that supports labview 7.0 DAQmx 8.01 is the other driver that supports the card and labview 7.

Are there known problems with this card that I'm not find?

The chassis that has had some parity errors to date had a best time of execution of 20 hours between grave down.  If it generates a parity error, there is no entry in the registry so that I'm not sure that a kernel image will be generated.  Accident yesterday morning, the computer will not re-start until the PCIe card was off for a good amount of time and case open to cool (it was the hottest part of the system by empirical methods, no part was what I considered warm) so the first case has been modernized with casefans directly cool the PCIe card.  This system comes to pass in a few minutes.  If that doesn't work we'll go to labview 8.6 on this system to see if the newer drivers help and finally throw the PCIe and move/o down in the VXI chassis.  The latter may be constrained according to the when the system crashes then.  I'm a bit wary of permutation of 7.0 to 8.6 on a production line with no available time to debug the old software with the new version of Labview.

External connections make you refernce to?  The power of auxillery connection or the connection to the BNC-2090?  At this point, we are only the e/s digital used on this card.

  • Acquisition mode continues for USB-5132

Basically, we like to use USB-5132 for recover data from two input channels digitizer continuous (I / Q signals).
I perform ^ 2 + Q ^ 2 operation continuously in Labview and then export the result in real-time to

C / C + c++ / Matlab on PC data format for more complicated algorithms of signal processing.

    Is this possible?

Thank you very much for all your comments!

    Gators,

Any device that you can find in the PCI form factor that is able to acquire quickly enough for your application will work for you. The material has nothing to do with your ability to process and display data on the fly. How to write your program to acquire and process data will be the determinant of whether you will be able to track the incoming data. I would recommend that you look for in producer / consumer performs a loop to process the data. The PCI-5102 will not be able to acquire fast enough for your application, I recommend the PCI-5114 or PCI-5112 for your application. I also recommend to take a lot of memory board for the card you purchase as you go to acquiring data at a fast speed for a long Aussie time.

  • Not finding wireless networks

Hello, I recently updated my motherboard due to hardware failure now pci wireless card cannot find any wireless networks and will seek not even networks.

I tried the older drivers, change the pci slot and I tried to configure the network manually, but when I try it it says "an unexpected error has occuered" and it's all no other options.

So I got a usb wireless adapter and installed and the same thing happens, it will not look and can not have all networks.

I ran the scan of the windows files and it reports no errors

    Any suggestions would be helpful

    Hi Cannonballgum,

    1. is the wireless card detected by Windows?

First check if the wireless card is detected by windows.

    1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

If you see the card wireless available in the Device Manager, then visit the card manufacturer site download and install the update to the latest driver control if it works.

  • SRIOV support for FreeBSD 8.4/10.1 VM with ESX 6?

    Hello experts,

    Question

Would like to know if the SRIOV VF drivers are supported on FreeBSD 8.4/10.1 VM with ESX 6?

    Configuration information:

In my setup, I have Intel 82599 NIC with VF interfaces configured and assigned to a virtual 10.1 FreeBSD computer.

But claim fails with the following error message:

    ix0: Intel (r) PRO/10GbE Virtual Function Network Driver, Version - 1.1.4 > mem 0xebaf8000-0xebafbfff, 0xebafc000-0xebafffff to the 0,0 on pci3 device

    ix0: MSIX config error

ix0: failure of PCI resource allocation

    device_attach: ix0 attach returned 6

    pcib4: < ACPI PCI - PCI bridge > camera 21.1 on pci0

To probe further, pci_alloc_msix() call returns-1, which is unexpected.

The PF IGB driver on esx 5.5 is 3.21.5

The ESX version is: ESXi 5.5.0 (Build 1331820)

If I have a Ubuntu VM affected with a VF of the same physical NETWORK adapter interface, he claims as expected.

If I live of e/s configured for the Intel 82599 NIC, the 10.1 FreeBSD VM calls for the interface as expected

Guidance on the support above on ESX 6.0 help.

    Kind regards

    Nirmal

We do not have a supported guest in 6.0 OS documentation. assuming that since the previous version is not one supported. You can provide your comments to article KB KB VMware: support of the only guest operating system Root i/o Virtualization (SR - IOV).

  • PCI not found after the failure of the system on the Satellite L25-S1217

    Hello
you are my last hope in obtaining all devices PCI works again on my Toshiba L25-S1217

After Windows XP he SP2 English frozen (maybe due to overheating) a few days ago I can't return to work.
Shows Device Manager three entries with yellow warning "PCI Device" - this device is not configured correctly (Code 1)

    It's:
    Athreos WIFI
    Realtek LAN

and another device, I do not know
    PCI\VEN_1044 & DEV_0607 & SUBSYS_FF311171 & REV_4C...

I had reinstalled all the drivers from the Toshiba support website (driver ATI card & drivers South of the bridge and all THE others), without success, so yesterday I restored the system backup CD but still having the same problem.

I think the problem is with PCI bus driver or smth like that, cause what happened before... but I was able to remedy this somehow. I remember this NIC must be recognized as controller Ethernet - not enigmatic PCI Device - because after that, I was able to install the triver successfully as well as Athreos Realtek driver for WIFI.

    Help, please!

You probably received the Toshiba Recovery CD.
Simply boot from this CD and reinstall the OS on the A25.
This procedure should define the laptop back to the factory settings.

After installation all devices must work properly because the Toshiba drivers are already included on the recovery CD.
If the laptop will run not as is, then it must be a hardware problem!

But it's really not easy to tell what's exactly wrong without putting hands on the laptop! Maybe a control from laptop is necessary

  • I have a 'C' IDE drive failure I have a SATA drive connected via a PCI-SATA controller card. I want to change from hard disk IDE 'C' on the SATA drive. What are the steps to achieve this?

Running Windows XP Home, I want to change hard drive as described above.

As a result, I have a USB hard drive, which I copied the hard drive of the original 'C', before it fails altogether.

Is it possible to copy this USB drive on my SATA hard drive and have as my primary hard drive?
Keeping in mind of the SATA hard drive, connected via a PCI-SATA controller card.

Unless your third sata card supports the option to boot from this map, its not going to work. Not all sata cards are bootable.

    Make:

    1. replace the on-board?

    2. Add an ethernet card and disable the onboard?

    3. go to a wireless network adapter?

    HPuser-gmh, welcome to the forum.

I suggest to install the latest driver for the found device here.  I think that the 3rd or 4th low element will work.

If this does not solve your problem, if you already have a wireless network, I would buy a wireless network card.  I'm a big fan of wireless networks, because they are much more flexible.

    Best regards

    Hey Buddy,

If you have tested the HARD drive in a box of another and external HARD drive laptop without success the case is clear: the HARD drive needs to be replaced because it s defective!

I can understand that you want to recover your data, but what do you do if you are not able to access? In this case you need assistance, a special data recovery lab, but it is not cheap and costs hundreds of dollars.

I m wondering that you don't have a backup. Have you never tried to do it or thought it would be useful?

Last but not least a new HARD drive can be ordered at a service provider authorized in your country or each computer store. Satellite L300 supports SATA 2.5 hard drives.

At first I just turn off my phone and turn it back on again, and the page would leave. But now after 10 times, the page is still there. Do you know any suggestions? And by chance, where is the nearest service centre maroubra Toshiba?
    Thank you, appreciate it

I think somehow HDD is troublemaker of disorders and not recognized as a boot device.
Did you create the recovery disk? If Yes use this disc to check if the HARD drive is accessible or not.

I can't say for sure but I m afraid you need new HARD drive.
