  You cannot use a simple USB as a source and destination. You must copy the ISO file (it's a single file, not the full installer) in your Documents folder and then run BCA to create a USB installation program. 2015 macs do not create a USB installation program.

  If I've understood your problem, try this. Create a shortcut to "soundrecorder /file outputfilename.wav" (without the quotes).

  Then start soundrecorder via this shortcut and start and stop the recording, it will save so (hopefully) as a wav as before.

  I think the problem is, W7 soundrecorder, by default, saves to wma.

  If not, try a 3rd free part program such as Audacity (which seems like overkill, but should do the job).

  I had the file for Firefox17. I executed the file. Firefox17 installed, run, and just-like-that Firefox with TabGroupsManager - with all my tabs and pages, even the Add-ons, is running. As the problem never happened.

  Maurizio salute, I asked you to a problem with the free dictionary. I found the solution, which in fact was not technical. In case someone else has the same, that's what I did not understand: when I highlight a word in a text in a language other than English, the dictionary gives me an explanation in English, i.e. 'not found word', but when I then press 'Search', the dictionary connect in the appropriate dictionary.   For months its been my firefox browser is out of date, saying tour so, today, I finally managed to update but when trying to install it, it removed my old version and when I tried to install the new one it says it was not compatible. So now I have a version that does not work and if I remove I don't have Firefox at all. I stress because everything (100) my favorites where on the old version.

  I tried and tried to find an older version, but either they are either not compatible or the file does not exist. I'm a bit of a technophobe so I know what else to try.

  Having been invited to update I clicked Yes. Update failed. I tried to update manually on the site but had to close Firefox before you start - Firefox was closed. I tried to uninstall the old version so that I could install the new le neuf-- once again asked me to close Firefox before it could be uninstalled and again, it was already closed.   Firefox can always run in the background. This happens sometimes. I suggest that you try to restart your computer, and then try to uninstall the old version. Alternatively, you can try to right click on the task bar, then opening the Task Manager. This will show you the list of processes currently running on your computer. If Firefox is running, you can manually kill the process.

(model number of same parts) The problem I have is, after that Windows 8 logo appears when you first start up, it goes to the black COMMAND screen and it says something about the system is not reconizing cards mothers NAME of THE PRODUCT, INFORMATION SYSTEM. or nothing! On the bottom is says ENTER: PRESS to START NORMAL or something similar! He has never done before, so that I have to reset/upgrade to update the BIOS or what?   The problem was, as I installed it and not a certified HP Tech, the new motherboard was not entered in my system for a lack of a better term! Look at my personal tech for all the info he needed and had it fixed in less than half an hour! Before that, I did follow your advice and update my BIOS nothing helps... but at least it is updated! Thank you very much for your help!
