Flash webcam Windows 10 beta breaks support

Hey guys,.

I was on the stable Windows 10 latest version for a while but decided to try Insider last generation 14267 to see if it solves a problem I've had with start menu search. Well he solved the problem, but now I have a bigger problem. I'm curious to know if Adobe is aware of this problem with the release next Windows 10 and webcam flash support.

I'm at school and exams remotely via a Chromium-based program that uses Flash to record webcam. With the construction of the initiate the webcam (lifecam cinema) is to give the empty output, even if it is detected. Sites that display webcam in flash with the same problem, but only in black. I'm on the last flash 20.0.0.306 stable and tested with Chrome and Firefox.

In the edge browser, it works fine. Looks like Edge uses a version of flash that is different (21.0.0.110). I downloaded the beta version of flash 21.0.0.157 that has not fixed the problem.

I tried to reinstall the webcam driver with no luck. The new generation of Win10 has not updated the driver, so not sure what is happening. The camera works in other applications of basic without flash.

If you need me to run all tests or need information more just make me know. Do go back to the last stable version of 10586 resolved the problem for me on Firefox and Chrome, even if strangely now I see the same thing on the edge with the stable version. Flash on Edge version is 20.0.0.306, like Chrome/Firefox. Camera detects, but it came out only in black.

Fixed! Driver uninstalled lifecam (last of 9/15) which he returned to a former Microsoft 2006 driver and now it works. Strange because I tried a previous pilot before that 2015 which was still broken.

BTW, just noticed it's broken on Skype is not a Flash problem, I think. Thank you!

  • Satellite P300 and Windows 7 Beta...

    Hey guys...
I've updated the horrible Vista my P300 accompanying to the new beta version of Windows 7... Most of the features are working properly.
Here are the problems I encountered.

    * HDMI *-it does not work, but I lose audio via HDMI, if I stop a video. If I am on youtube and I watch a video, the audio will be fine until I have either pause, rewind or fast forward the video, if I click on another video it will also stop working. This is true for any kind of video I watch on the pc... youtube not only... same DVD.
To get again the audio via HDMI, I have to go to audio devices and speakers for default select computers, and then choose HDMI as default again... then it won't work until I have a break or skip the videos again.

    * Card wireless... *.
If the P300 switch mode 'sleep', sometimes I won't be able to reconnect to the wireless again. I need to reboot the P300 to get it to connect again.

I have also 4 or 5 elements in the Manager of devices that are not installed properly... I can't list them because now, I don't have my phone with me.
Someone else running Windows 7 Beta? If so do you have questions?

    Hello

We all know that Windows 7 is still in beta version on the market and official support is not started.
So, to discuss some issues on Windows 7 is for me certainly unnecessary.

The drivers, tools, and utilities are not available and if everything works well it OK, otherwise you have to wait for Windows 7 support to start.

I installed Windows 7 on my Satellite Pro P300 and play around a bit with it, but I wonder if something won t work as it should.

  • Windows 8 Beta - cannot verify the product key

    Hi all

After you have installed Windows 8 beta last year on my laptop, I bought the upgrade to the full version of Windows 8 and received a product key by e-mail as part of the purchase or download.  Now, I'm trying to use the same disk of Windows 8 Beta to install the OS on my desktop.  After you enter the product key, I get a message saying "cannot verify the product key - check your installation media."

Can someone explain why the beta key does not work and if I get a new key?

    Thank you

No, you can't, but what you can do is, use the following link to download and create the installation media that you can use to upgrade other computers.

Please note, if other computers are running versions of 32-bit or 64-bit, you will need to create a respective installation media corresponding to the architecture of the facilities running on these computers (32 or 64-bit):

If you must reinstall Windows 8 or you want to install it on one partition and you do not have installation media, you can create it using the installer of Windows 8. To create a support, you must use a PC running Windows 8.1, Windows 8, or Windows 7, and it must have the same architecture (32 or 64-bit) than the PC you want to install Windows 8.1 on. You will also need your product key of Windows 8.

You can usually find your product key in your online order information, in the confirmation email of your purchase, or on the DVD packaging. The product key will look something like this: XXXXX - XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.

Once you have your product key and you are on a PC running Windows 7, Windows 8 or 8.1 of Windows, follow these steps:

    1. Run the program installation of Windows 8 .

    2. When you are prompted to run or save the file, choose run

    3. When you are prompted to enter a product key, enter the 25-character product key, that you received when you purchased Windows 8.1.

    4. When you are prompted to install Windows 8.1, select install by creating media and then click Next.

Select the type of media you want to use: either a Flash DRIVE or a DVD.

To create a USB flash drive

    1. Click on a USB flash drive.

    2. Plug the USB key into a USB port on your PC.

    3. When you are prompted, select the USB key that you want to use, and then click Next.

If you have files on the USB flash drive, it will remove them.

    To create a DVD

    1. Click on the ISO file, and then select the location where to save the ISO file.

    2. Insert a blank recordable DVD into your DVD drive.

    3. Burn the ISO of the DVD file using Windows disc Image burner, or another program DVD burning.

Please note that you will have a unique individual license (product key) for each computer you want to upgrade.

You can buy additional product keys to:

  • Windows 7 Beta now Vista SP2 make ipod synchronization impossible.

I arrived at the time when I was running Windows 7 Beta and now it happened again after that I went back to Vista, but installed SP2 this morning.

iTunes takes 30secs-5 minutes to synchronize a track to an iPod. After rolling back to SP1 it works fine again. I scoured the Internet looking for people with similar problems but could find only a few, with no solutions. What is - this on these updates that are breaking iTunes on my PC?

    Jim,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with W7 and sync to iTunes.  Personally, I use Vista and W7 and am an avid itunes user and have yet to see a problem.  You can check out the Windows 7 forum to microsoft.com/springboard, may there are some information about compatibility with your system, please keep in mind, if your system is stable before, and you have the Vista drivers they will work with Windows 7, so you can get back at them.
    Thank you

  • Flash for Windows Vista 64-bit

Flash didn't work for some reason any of this morning.  I spent HOURS trying to find a flash 11 version which is compatible with my computer laptop 64 bit.  Help!

The installation of Flash Player 11.3 programs have been combined; the installer will install the player to 32 bits on 32 - bit systems and install a drive of 32-bit and 64 - bit on 64 - bit systems.

Combined installers can be downloaded on http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-Windows.html #main - pars_header

However, given that Vista 64 - bit is not officially supported by Adobe, I don't know what he's going to install on this system.

    Another useless answer, I know.

  • Portege R500 - anyone using the DVI Port Replicator II on WIndows 7 Beta?

    Hello
I'm using the beta version of WIndows 7 on my R500 and runnig it's just well except the DVI Port (on the Port Replicator II Slim).
I have installed this software Fingreprint, battery bluetooth (which are recommended as a solution by the Action Center) and the 'TOSHIBA value added together"which adds the management software of power supply, control over the 2 hardware buttons and gives the FN menu to the screen to control the functions FN1-9.
I think I can say it's definatively a driver problem, because if I start the R500, the windows loading screen appears on my screen, but when he switches to the desktop, the external screen turns off and the desktop on the screen of the laptop. Also, no chance to activate via FN + F5.
I tried with the driver Windows 7 buildin, the latest driver from intel (15.8.3) and the vista driver provided by toshiba (7.14.10.1244), but none of them work: (unlucky
BTW: the vga output works, but only UNdocked :(
Does anyone have a solution or a tip what to do or try?

    Hello!

First of all, I have to say that Windows 7 Beta is as its name the indicates that a beta so there might be some problems and it s not sure that everything works fine with Windows 7 Beta.

Your problem: you see the second monitor in the display settings? There you can active it and mark the option extend my Windows desktop on this monitor.

Lastly but not the least you should do an update of the BIOS if you have n t the latest version.

    Good bye

  • Cannot install itunes for windows - error: Apple Application Support is required to run Itunes Helper. Uninstall and reinstall (as I did twice)

Cannot install itunes for windows - error: Apple Application Support is required to run Itunes Helper. Uninstall and reinstall (as I did twice)

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

  • Windows XP end of Support: latest updates?

I know that extended support for Windows XP is expected late next week.  Issues related to the:

    (1) there will be a final round of Windows updates on the regular date?

    (2) how long updates (whenever they have been issued) will still be available after the end of support?  I have a computer at another place that has not been updated for several months and won't be available before end of April.  (Of course I'm looking for to determine the feasibility of that upgrade to Windows 7, but this will not happen immediately.)  I also have a copy of "Windows XP mode" (SP3) on Windows 7, a new machine, but it has never been implemented and there must be way out of date...

    (3) what updates Office 2007 on my Windows XP machine that (I think) are also carried out through Windows Update?  Those that will end next week as well? -JCW2

    (1) maybe, maybe not. We cannot say for sure but probably.

    (2) the official statement from Microsoft I saw not known, is here...

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/enterprise/end-of-support.aspx

.. who just said they will be available after April 8, but not how long. In light of this statement...

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/MMPC/archive/2014/01/15/Microsoft-antimalware-support-for-Windows-XP.aspx

.. one could be forgiven for thinking that it might be more than a year.

    3) office 2007 is still supported, make sure that you are on the latest service pack and you must continue to receive updates.

My apologies, I must have misread the topics when I did my first answer. For some reason, I got it in my head, whether you use Windows 7 32 bit.

I stand by my original comments well that although I appreciated now that you are referring to Windows XP.

If you want to go to 64-bit Windows XP I'm not sure if this is even possible now. Unless you buy a commercial version second hand. If you can, make sure that it comes with an installation CD.

To check the compatibility 64 bit XP the following may be useful...

It will be even more important to check the hardware/software compatibility via the websites of the manufacturers.
