The SD card is accessible by a BB App and Windows Explorer at the same time?
Hello
My requirement is that the SD card must be consulted by a BB App and Windows Explorer at the same time. But the BB app I developed is able to access the SD card only when the mass storage mode is turned off. Is this how the BB has designed or is it possible to have some logical coding for this?
Thank you
No, this is not possible.

Hello
Have you used the utility changes or registry to remove the shortcut arrow overlay?
First make sure the utility is uninstalled and the registry change is removed.
Try this and check if that helps:
1. right click on a box empty desktop and select Customize.
2. click on adjust the resolution of the screen.
3. in the drop-down color menu, select medium (16 bit).
4. click on apply.
5. when Windows you asked if you want to keep these settings, click No to restore your 32-bit color depth.
6. restart your computer.

Hi everyone, auggy,
I really hope you can help me with a problem I have on a single workstation at my office. It is an accumulation of 32-bit Windows 7 running MS Office 2010 Standard. It differs from other generations in our office because it is used by the head of the team of our accounts, and so it has a number of custom pieces of software that she only needs access (payroll software, etc.).
All the basic features of the computers seem to be well, except the two following, and I would really like to help get to the bottom of it.
(1) process explorer error when you try to browse the files and folders of BES.
I can call Windows Explorer absolutely perfect and be sailing away on his machine, and then suddenly the process explore will die, with the following error: -.

I can start windows Explorer, and it will happen again--it's a repetitive event.
(2) Internet Explorer AppHangB1 when you try to attach files to download
I think that these two errors may actually be related, like IE (and Chrome as well by the way, this be why I think that the two issues are related) works fine, until I just any type of site where I need to download a file. This happened in the light, as our Chief of accounts needs to download a flat file in a room online banking software. What's going to happen (and, again, this can be repeated as needed) is: -.

I left it overnight with instructions for the lady who uses the PC to test this morning and see if it's all workers, and it is still, it seems that the fix does not immediately solve the problem of browser, but there later - maybe after a second reboot or something... very strange!
In all case, this matter can now be considered closed, so all that remains for me to say thank you very much for your help, you are amazing :)

Change the color of the names of folders in Windows Explorer (7)
In windows Explorer, I have a list of folders. I wish I could change the color of each folder name. Each record represents one of my accounts (and inside are visit reports, files, etc) and I would like to catagorise every folder in account as their end market sector, using color. Is this possible?
Hello
There is no option in Windows, you can safely use to change the color of the folders. However, you can browse the Internet using your favorite search engine for an application that can change color of folders.

Shared folders and Windows November 10 update
Since "redevelopment" of the update of Windows 10 November, my shared folders do not work. I had hoped that upgrading 8.1 Fusion is going to fix it but it didn't.
Basically I enable shared folders, such as Documents and downloads, I can access it from the link on the desktop. However, I don't get my y and Z: drives I was doing. In addition, at the opening of the Explorer there suddenly from 30 to 60 seconds while he was apparently trying to find these discs.
If I turn off sharing, the Explorer is fast and never crashes.
I tried unisntalling/reinstalling VMWare tools, but it makes no difference. I have to leave shared folders disabled to have a usable virtual machine.
Any thoughts on how to fix this so that it works as it did before the November update?
Hello
Strange uninstall - reboot - install VMware Tools has been working flawlessly down here to solve a similar problem.
There are a few things you can try.
First check the registry that you do not:
All you have to do is to change the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order
Name: ProviderOrder
Type: REG_SZ
Data: "RDPNP, LanmanWorkstation,webclient"
He should have "vmhgfs" for the first option:
Data: "vmhgfs,RDPNP, LanmanWorkstation,webclient"
Second, try to re-create the shares.
Remove them, turn off sharing, close the dialog box for sharing and then re - open the dialog box and try sharing once more and add the old shares in return.
Yet another thing you can do is to disable the folder change event notification.
The side effect of this is you will need to click Refresh in Windows Explorer to see a change, he could stop the slowness of your Explorer.
While I use it myself I do not recommend for most users.
isolation.tools.hgfs.notify.enable = "FALSE"
See also: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2011360
Finally, I also see the hosts host file sharing slow down when there was a ton of files and anti-virus analysis actively sharing files.
At least disable the scan compressed files.

Exactly what virus was this?
Almost certainly you don't has completely failed to clean the
computer upward. Keep in mind the following three things:1. MalwareBytes anti-malware is an anti-spyware program and
nothing to clean up viruses.2 PC Tools antivirus is a bad choice of an anti-virus program. For
an antivirus program, I recommend eSet NOD32, if you're ready
to pay for it. If you want a free anti-virus, I recommend one (are not
run several) of the following three:
Avira AntiVir
Avast
Microsoft Security Essentials3. in the course of the run Registry Mechanic has been a very bad thing to do and it can be
responsible for the problems that you are experiencing now. Cleaning the registry
the programs are all snake oil. The registry cleaning is not necessary
and is dangerous. Let alone register and do not use any registry
cleaner. Despite what many people think and what providers of registry
cleaning software try to convince you to have unused registry
entries is not really make you hurt.
The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake
delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit
It can have.
Read http://www.edbott.com/weblog/archives/000643.htmland http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=28099
Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns the
use of registry cleaners never said that they always cause
problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from
the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry
cleaner and never had a problem with it.The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it
the risk of a significant problem. And since there is no
benefits of using a registry cleaner, running that risk is a very bad
good deal.Ken Blake (MS-MVP)

RUNDLL says "the specified module could not be found. This error occurs only on the most operational of our user accounts (we have 4)

I am running XP SP3 and I'm trying to recover from multiple virus & malware removed by AVG Free, MBAM, SAS & Spybot. I also used Advanced System Care and AVG PC TuneUp and both of them seem to help.
I have read other discussions here and tried to run the System File Checker - all that happens is a black window opens for a millisecond and closed.
I have a lot of questions, but these are my point I suppose to jump. Thanks in advance :)
Your system is currently or has been infected by malware.
I suggest read you this procedure and do the 2 scans of malware down first, then start at the beginning.
I read you already ran MBAM and SAS, but make sure that you have run the MBAM and SAS with updated definitions.
The System File Checker will not help you. If you want the run later for smile and a good feeling, we can work on that later.
It is easy to get rid of the error message by doing something like disable the startup item in msconfig (if you can still find), but I suggest you fix the problem and difficulty not only the symptom of the problem simply remove the startup message.I would recommend also you start to search in the register, unless you have a backup because there is no 'Cancel' or 'quit without saving changes' option in regedit. If you make a mistake, that's all. These ideas relieve 'rapid' and sometimes risky of the symptom, but may not actually solve the problem. Also, I'd be suspicious of ideas that begin with the words "try." You don't need to try things, you need to fix things. Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way. There is very little. DLL files that should be loaded from the C:\WINDOWS folder and is not one of them.Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist. It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed. The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during an analysis of the malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection. So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to load or run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry, but you can find it. Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer. The msconfig program is not a Startup Manager, that's a troubleshooting tool. Disabling things in msconfig to put an end to the messages and think that your problem is solved is short-sighted and leave behind him a sloppy XP configuration. Just disable the display of a start-up error message should not count as a 'solution' to the problem. If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can find and remove the reference directly from there or remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns. The problem can always be found in the registry well. Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry. There is no cancellation or exit without saving the option in regedit. Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:You can use Autoruns to find the element of start remains little matter where he's hiding. Autoruns does not install anything on your computer. It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely. Here is the download link for Autoruns:Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries. When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner. Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information. You are really interested only a few sections. The problem is usually to start the system or the user startup entries, then click the connection tab and see if the startup item is there.Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message. If you can't find on the connection tab, look in any tab.Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove. If you are not sure what it is, you can simply disable, restart and if the problem is resolved and then remove the offending entry. If you don't see it in Autoruns, you may edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it. Autoruns shall display the same information however.Given that you had or have an infection, followed with this:Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/They can be uninstalled later if you wish.Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.Do not guess what the problem might be - understand and resolve it. Slow speed and "Windows Explorer has stopped working" and often "unresponsive".
My laptop Gateway (1.46 GHz Dual CPU) is under Vista Home Premium and is very slow during the implementation of new screens or changing the screens in an application, often displaying "not responding" for up to a minute. Sometimes the message on Windows Explorer appears. It is also very slow while booting or passage from one user to another. I regularly remove temporary files internet and visited sites, regularly virus and spyware scanner. My usual applications are Quicken, Internet Explorer, I-tunes and webmail.

Tag Windows 7 ID3 2.4 and Windows Explorer ID3 manipulation
Is there something in the works to update Windows 7 to manage ID3v2.4?
Also, I noticed that Windows Explorer incorrectly manages ID3v2.3 TPE1 "Artist" tags like 'Contributing artists' and TPE2 ' Band/Orchestra/accompaniment' as 'Artist of the Album'.
Simple thing, it is that many programs automatically convert ID3v2.3 to ID3v2.4 tags when changes are made from within the program. In some cases, the program may be forced to use ID3v2.3, but all cannot. It would be nice if Windows caught up with the current format.
Hello
Explorer Windows and Windows Media Player can not handle ID3 version 2.4 tags in any version, until and including Windows 7/Windows Media Player 12. Windows can understand ID3 until and including version 2.3.
For more details about tags ID3 in Windows 7refer for the links provided below:

Media players and windows Explorer crash
Hello
Recently I got this problem where my windows Explorer crashed whenever I opened Control Panel, specifically, whenever I tried to view the system information. I tried a few "solutions" that I saw on the internet nothing has worked so far - this all started about 2 months ago, when I tried to update my graphic drivers.
Then a few days ago I was watching movies with my laptop and I fell asleep while the film was presented, my laptop is not plugged the battery flat overnight. When I woke up and return the laptop computer he would play no matter what video file with any of my media players (Windows Media Player, GOM or VLC) - when I try to open the video file, it simply says that GOM/VLC/WM has stopped working, then closes.
Important notes:
-I am able to watch movies if I boot in safe mode (there is simply no sound.)
-I can also go in control panel - system of information if I boot in safe mode.
-I am running windows 7 (with the latest updates)
-J' use a pavilion dv6.
-All music files open with media players, the problem is just video files.
I suspect it's a graphics related question, but I'm not sure. It works as it should when it is in safe mode, but I don't know how to say what is causing the problem.
Many thanks for any help :)
Hi Mithrandir,
I found the problem!
I updated the graphics driver and that seemed to do the trick - the players videos play in all media and is not any control panel crash or media players.
The only problem I have now is that after the backlight driver update does not work (although it is a driver issue it seems that many people have had) - I was wondering if you know if it is possible to reinstall the previous driver (not just go back to it, but have in fact all this re installed because I think there's maybe a corrupt file or something like that which was causing the) problem)
So, as I thought it was the graphics driver that caused the outcome...
