former Council ieee

I am the owner of a very old Board IEEE 488 ISA bus (codename INTERFACE IEEE 488.22 488 - PC2) to be used on a very old PC.

Unfortunately, I have no documentation on configuration of this governing body (for example, how to choose address, IRQ, DMA).

This documentation is available somewhere?

@ndré THEVENIN

Hi Thevenin,

I have not found anything on the Web site of NOR. Do you know if it is a product of OR?

I found something on the icselect site: 488 - PC2 cards Driver, 488.2 - PC2_manual.

I hope this will help you.

  • What should I do after having replaced the card mother i - pod?

I replaced the motherboard of I have my daughter 7 Gen 160 GB iPod and when I turn it on the screen is completely gray. I think that I have to download an operating program. However, my PC does not recognize the iPod to allow me to access it. When I connected the former Council (replaced due to the connector of the battery come off) the display shows "battery charging please wait."

How can I get my PC to recognize my I - Pod with the new motherboard was connected?

Are you sure that the "new" motherboard is everything ok?

Try to put it in DFU mode: plug it into your computer. Hold the power and select buttons together for 12 seconds. It should be a charge in the battery. See if the computer recognizes then.

  • Extremely slow camera in MAX and the software response

I am in the process of upgrading from a piece of test equipment that uses two firewire cameras.

Currently, the software is written in LabVIEW 7.1, it uses NEITHER IMAQ and is quite catchy, with little perceptible delay in the passage between the cameras in the software. Same MAX opens up the cameras relatively quickly and you can turn on or take a few seconds of clicking cameras and quickly change between cameras.

Without changing the external hardware to the computer, but with a new windows 7 PC in place and update the software to use OR-IMAQdx simply by replacing the IMAQ works with IMAQdx in 2014 of LabVIEW and install the latest version of MAX led the software becomes unusually slow in the passage of the cameras. When I say exceptional, I mean that it takes up to 30 years to set up and run each camera. Bearing in mind that the vision process takes 0.5 seconds or less is unacceptable. It is just as painful changing between cameras in MAX.

I noticed that on another system that uses a camera USB 3, simply by clicking on the camera icon in MAX takes a LOT of time answering to allow you to do anything.

On the old windows PC with MAX 5 and IMAQ clicking a camera brings the dialog boxes fairly quickly.

Someone has an idea, what happens? Is it something IMAQdx? Of course, this is not normal?

    Can anyone offer advice please?

    Thank you

Your post, I shared with my colleague FireWire camera (which is out of town, but regularly check the email), and here's his reply:

Three cameras at 25 frames per second, with RGB channel separated because of the bandwidth.  We take avi and pngs simultaneously on several channels.  My suspicion is that their former Council might not be fully compliant with the standards. Not all the work of commissions, I tried a little on-site, then chose the one that is recommended by the seller.  In addition, no hubs as they can also stifle bandwidth.

    Hope it will be useful.

  • Configuration of thermocouple to MAX

I'm in the process of upgrading an ancient system of labView to a new beautiful brilliant (v4 for 2009) but I encounter some problems of setting up my thermocouples.

The old PC them works very well and becomes sensitive readings - a new is not so happy. I use the former Council of SCB - 68 even for both and have just upgraded the DAQ (now a PCI-6221) card and the PC.

MAX and LABView can read very well the thermocouple voltage and voltage correctly responds to changes in the thermocouple temperature (ambient 1.38v and response is 50mv/C) - However, when I try and tell him it's a thermocouple it tells me that the room is a constant of 398 000 degrees! This reading shows no response at all to the variations in temperature of the thermocouple.

I've got the thermocouple connected to AI2 on pins 65 and 31 as MAX connection diaigram seems to suggest. This is how I wired it upwards, or is it my setup that does not?

Thank you in advance for your help!

    Pete

Heh, I solved. Unfortunately, it was me be stupid all along.

The installer of the equipment that we measure is such that the thermocouple is about 10 ft away from the computer. Its attached to a wire that goes behind some cabinets and then to the back of the PC.

When I plugged the thermocouple directly in the room it worked fine - exactly as it should. Then when I put it on its extension cable there nuts again. I pulled out the wire behind the cabinets and carefully hidden to halfway along the wire is a housing of the amplifier. He never FAILED me to check the thread - I guess that even if there was an amplifier I wish that it is at the ends! I feel that this kit was concocted by several people talked to each other, so it does not surprise me none. I guess that, in the old VI, somewhere, there must be a correction factor hidden somewhere.

Thanks for your help guys - you definitely guided me in the right direction.

  • Issue of Alias MAX OR VISA...

    Got a problem:

I hooked two USB I2C boards for a PXI platform. The two articles were published in MAX OR with their serial numbers. I have rename their aliases VISA "I2C" and "IC2_ST".

Some time later, one of them stops working.

I have replace the broken for a new one.

OR MAX presents the new device.

I try to rename the new VISA of I2C alias for "I2C", but NEITHER MAX errors because the "I2C" is already assigned.

I can't delete "I2C" without connecting the former Council (which is broken in this scenario). so, how to remove the "I2C" alias without taking on the jury?

I expect the "reset Configuration data", but cela will reset all defined aliases. There must be a better way?

    OR MAX version 5.3.1

    Thank you.

    Maybe it's a little different so I 14.5 MAX.

    Max:

    Tools-> NI - VISA-> VISA Options
    In general settings select alias
Select the Alias that you want to remove
    Right-click-> clear Alias

You can then give this alias to the new Commission.

  • Aspire 4741g - tips of the purchase/replacement replacement motherboard

    As the title suggests.

My machine has overheated and recently the GPU is abandoned. Either the chip burned or more probably comes off a board due to bad soldering (had the same problem on an HP machine), either way I pulled out and plans to replace the Council.

My question is about replacement cards that you buy, and if they come with GPU/CPU ready to go. Also, if there is anything I need to the former Council to proceed with the installation - I know already using a fresh battery of the BIOS to save time by opening the machine again if the battery died. What is more than likely!

    Thank you

  • Fix for nasty bug of Sandy Bridge badly on USB devices

Anyone know if there is a fix yet, some USB devices fail intermittently on a new MB with Windows 7 64 - bit edition.

It is a quad core running the Sandy Bridge chipset, and vodafone dongles does work, even if they did on W7 64 bit on the former Council.

Fault too:-some external hard drives are not recognized on any port.

Your hard drives are connected via SATA?

There is a known issue with some Sandy Bridge chipsets, where ports SATA fail, don't know if it affects USB ports or not.

Intel issued a notice of recall for this with the affected chipsets - did you check the Intel website to see if you are one of those affected

  • Recent installation of win 7 pro refurb

Installed on a refurbed pc. After that, I found that the motherboard only support usb 1.1. Expansion slots only 2 are both in use or I would simply use a usb 2.0 expansion card. My question is, if I remove the card and install a more recent Council refurbed, can I use the key again? The former Council is worthless for me.

An edition of Windows 7 for use on a refurbished computer is an "OEM" version, and as such, is related to the first motherboard on which it is installed. You can call Microsoft and explain your problem and they can allow you to re - install on another / replacement card (it can't hurt to try).

Hi I have a problem with my keyboard, microsoft natural ergonomic 4000 USB, the beginning of the problem when I install windows 8, so I couldn't take Windows 8, so I decide to remove the copy and re - install my original copy of windows 7 ultimate 32 Bit. The problem is with the letter m n, these 3 letters sometimes that they work perfectly and sometimes they stop for a few minutes. I format the computer, delete the partition and installing new windows, but the problem still exist, I updated my drivers and installed the last itype, but the problem remains the same, I disassembled the keyboard and clean it up, I check the key looks all perfect, but still facing the same problem, now its works perfectly, but after he can stop. For sure the best way is to throw it away and buy a new one, but what a cost of $ 150 and I'm not going to throw anywhere. Please I need a solution thanks.

  • BSOD 0 x 124 after 1h0m3s

I know that a 0 x 124 BSOD means usually only the hardware has a problem, but I checked my hardware (CPU, GPU, RAM and stresstested everything) and everything is OK. I have the screenshot to prove it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/heds60q28b87oim/Screenshot%202014-04-12%2006.19.01.png

Problem is that since April 9 in the morning (time IS), my systems starts on time evey BSOD. At first I thought it was April 8, patch, so I restored to before this patch, but the problem remains. Then I thought it might be this same date AVG update. I changed my virusscanner but still the problem remains. Then I thought that... Well, the bottom line, I tried everything that could have updated something on my PC, but nothing works and still my PC BSOD 0 x 124 exactly 1h0m3s when it is started.

1h0m3s to hear every time Windows runs something at 1 h after the start, and about 3 sec to complete (or try to complete on my system). I asked one of my friends who has several MSC and it came with the optimizer .NET 4.0. I tried reinstalling .NET 4.0, but it isn't allowing me because there is a newer version already installed :(

By now, I'm close to format the HARD drive completely and reinstall Windows, but this is my machine development (and games) and I don't want to lose too much time on it with complete reinstallation of Windows AND all the tools/utils that I need (1.5 TB of data installed). That's why I decided to post here and hope someone can shed some light on this problem.

I know one. DPM is necessary, and here's one last, I: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ekwy52ot4iu12tx/041214-37237-01.dmp

A strange thing to mention however. This morning, I played Elder Scrolls online and that went well. After about 4 hours, I stopped play and close my PC manually. This was the only time where my PC 'survive' longer than 1h0m3s these days...

    [EDIT]

I forgot to mention this at the beginning, but perhaps it is useful... It's my 'first' install Win 7 on this PC and it works on the PC since August 2010. Never have reinstalled at all. You are not sure if something in the registry since the old material deleted/replaced could ultimately be tapped the Windows configuration? Apart from the motherboard, practically every piece of hardware has been replaced over the past 4 years ;-)

As I said in my previous answer, I knew that my motherboard to be dying and this suspicion is not without reason...

Now, I bought a new motherboard and DDR3 (the former Council used DDR2) memory, installed by everything and no problems whatsoever (except 1 Bank of defective DDR3).

For me the matter is closed and will remove all the stuff my selection. Thank you all for help/thought to a possible reason for this nagging BSOD

  • Power button HP Pavilion DV6058cl

Recently, my power button has stopped working... The light is on, but it does not work.  The quick buttons always play function but are a pain in the tail.  I'd rather fix the power button if there is a pretty simple way to do it.  I took out the pc before but never a laptop.  Is there a fix I could do?

I've taken advice and sought a new Board of Directors.  Fortunately, it came with the band too - it's about $33 including shipping.  When my son and I replaced the jury, it does the same thing. Seeing of food worked but the button does not.   But when we replaced the band and used the former Council, it worked.  I would have never attempted repair without your guidance on where and how to go.  Thank you very much.  It has been very rewarding experience for us both.

  • "Generalized box Expierance" Sysprep.exe re-validate my Windows 7 license on the original motherboard

I bought myself a new motherboard to replace the pre-built that I have

and had to use the Sysprep.exe to boot on the new motherboard

However I did not know that what is causing my Windows become invalid license
To avoid buying a new license, can I use Sysprep.exe to Resintall the HARD drive on the old Board and have to re-validate the Windows license.

The former Council will use a different CPU, however
Point being, it is that I use the old parts of the original computer and others to build a computer for my girlfriend

If she will ask the Commission to origin, can I give this HARD and buy my self a new copy of Windows for my self

because I think that the less expensive road would then buy him a copy of windows and myself, a new license

Or do I now have to purchase a license for this copy of windows now that I've done the OOBE Sysprep.exe?

    Hello

Whenever there is a change of material in the computer operating system begins to exit the tolerance mode. You must activate the operating system to help online or by phone activation.

Refer to this link: activate Windows 7 on this computer

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/activate-Windows-7-on-this-computer

You can give your girlfriend the old hard drive (Note: it must enable the operating system again). However, you must make sure that the same product key is not used in another computer. If you don't use it, you will get a message that you are a victim of counterfeit software.

    I hope this helps.

  • Uneven morphing of shape tween (text)

I use Adobe Flash Professional CS6 for a slideshow and use the motion tweens as transition of text between slides. However, when I transition from a paragraph of text on a single line of text, half paragraph form the last alphabet, which is not very attractive. Is there anyway that I can broadcast the morphing of the alphabets of the alphabet of the paragraph text in the line of text that it becomes even more? I tried fragmenting each alphabet in an attempt to "fool" the shape tween while it can use several alphabets of the paragraph for each alphabet in the line, but it doesn't seem to work.

    That's what I mean:

    Paragraph:

    paragraph.PNG

    Transition:

    transition.PNG

    Line:

    line.PNG

Help! Thank you very much! ^^

    Shape hints

In order to improve the quality of the morphing, you can add shape hints to each key frame. Shape hints allow you to say Flash precisely what points in each vector to match during the Tween. So, if you add shape hints corresponding to the corners of the square with the high points of the circle, the morph will no longer appear in turn. Here's how:

    1. Select the first keyframe, and then click on change form add forms Council (Ctrl/Cmd-Shift-H).
    2. A small circle with an a inside appears in the center of your shape. Drag the upper left corner of the square.
    3. Select the last keyframe, and you will see a corresponding to an index of shape. Drag it to the left upper arc of the circle.
    4. Continue the process until you have four corresponding shape hints. (Often only one or two tricks are needed to Flash catch, but many are sometimes necessary.)

  • Cable IEEE 1394 to 800 FireWire MBP mid 2012

    Hello

Currently, I discovered an old camcorder (Samsung VP-D371) that uses a DV IEEE 1394 cable entry. I have an old cable, but does not support the USB or firewire 800 appropriate.

My question is: the Macbook Pro for mid-2012 capture the videos saved in the camcorder? --> If YES: should which cable I buy?

    -A DV to USB cable

    -A DV FireWire 800 cable

-A DV cable for love at first sight...?

Plus, do you know of any box or cable adapter for Mini DVI VHS transfer to the computer?

    Thank you

    Sincerelly,

FireWire converts freely back and forth between its various forms, simply by using the correct conversion cable (which differs from the others only by the provided number of pins and the link shape.

Most digital camcorders use the variety 4 pin, fireWire-400 without the supplied power cords.

Older Macs use the Firewire-400 variety with power, which converts directly to your camera with a cable from 6 to 4

New Macs using FireWire 800 varieties which has additional pins for drivers to push - pull on the data lines, so it has the connector 9 pins and can instantly transform 400 with a 9-6 adapter cable, or your camera with a cable adapter 9 to 4.

Some separate adapters are also available, but these should only be used in an installation permeant, because (based on anecdotal evidence) "they grow legs and disappear.

  • Adapters and beam forming...

Just bought an AC2400 of "creation of beam."  My card is a WUSB600N.

The new adapters support the beam forming?

I have some problems of connection in large part because of the distance and interference between my router and adapter--all things being equal are a new adapter that could help me?

    Thank you!

    Cane

I would say yes to that. A new adapter would have updated drivers with IEEE specifications.

    Wireless tips:

    • 2.4 Ghz in populated areas is usually crowded
    • 2.4 Ghz is slow but long distance
    • 5 GHz is super fast but short distance due to its low penetration properties
