GANYMEDE + peripheral unknown network or Client AAA package

Hi all

I can do connect using the set of credentials to the ACS server, log it showed:

"Reason for failure: 13017 receipt GANYMEDE + peripheral unknown network or Client AAA package."

I know there are a few changes on GANYMEDE + room for new catalyst IOS, so I consult the guide and it is the end of my config:

AAA server Ganymede group + TAC_PLUS

the AUTH server name

RADIUS server AUTH

ipv4 10.10.21.251 address

key xxxxxx

AAA TAC_PLUS authentication connection group Ganymede + local line

TAC_PLUS AAA authorization exec group Ganymede + none

AAA authorization commands 15 default authenticated if

accounting AAA periodic update 1

exec accounting AAA TAC_PLUS start-stop group Ganymede +.

network accounting AAA TAC_PLUS start-stop group Ganymede +.

connect accounting AAA TAC_PLUS start-stop group Ganymede +.

My platform is

-C6500 running on IOS 12.2 (33) SXJ1

-ACS 5.2.0.26

Need advice on this subject, thanks

Noel

Hello

What is IP IOS appropriate set to network devices and the AAA Clients for the candidate countries? If Yes, what IP address is indicated on the failure of the ACS that includes the error "GANYMEDE + unknown cover peripheral network or Client AAA? ACS reports as unknown IP address when it is already set appropriately?

Kind regards.

  • WiFi connected but unknown network and internet access

    Hello

I think I've read enough forums and done enough research I finally post my question. My other laptop is Dell Inspiron 1545. It connects to my home network, but says unknown network and no internet access. I tried wifi and ethernet cable. The IP address is set to auto detect, I have reset the router, reinstalled the drivers for the card wifi, without success. Any ideas?

    -Taylor

Only, I solved this problem on my Dell XPS, so I decided to share with the community.

After the call to Dell and discover my warranty had expired (a little more than one year) and knowledge it would cost me $129 to get a response from time, I decided to go look for solutions. I found a thread of 2009, attributing the cause to a thing of access network Mcaffee. I knew that's the question because I don't personally like the major anti virus makes (they tend to pull up of stunts like this) so I had ripped my PC McAfee, as soon as I started. But this thread has helped me understand how to solve this problem.

The problem seems to be an Agent of network access Protection on your system configuration (your start up programs). Make sure it is off. It wouldn't hurt also to try to disable the Internet Explorer ETW Collector Service (has a name shady so I nuked it too: P). this fixed my connection problem not identified immediately.

    Follow these steps (Windows 7):

    1. click on start.

    2. click on search at the bottom bar.

    3. type: msconfig

    4. press enter

    5. you should have a new window named System Configuration

    6. click on the Services tab.

    7. scroll down until you find: Network Access Protection Agent. It will be defined as stopped. It's normal.

    8. uncheck the box next to the network access Protection Agent.

    9. click on OK.

    10. restart your computer.

Your internet connection should work now. If this is not the case, repeat the procedure until step 6, and then follow these steps:

    1. scroll down until you find: Internet Explorer collector Service to ETW. It will be defined as stopped. It's normal.

2 uncheck Internet Explorer collector Service to ETW.

    3. click on OK.

    4 restart your computer.

If these two steps don't fix your problem, go back to the Configuration of the system (Services tab) and it look for any other Network Access Protection Agent, such as Macafee named ones or something similar. Please be aware that uncheck essential services can cause pc problems, so make sure you know what you're unchecking before you do. If in doubt, feel free to google it.

Another solution would be to temporarily disable your antivirus and firewall and see if that helps. If Yes, then you know where you need to focus.

Good luck and hope it works!

  • I am unable to connect with GANYMEDE + connection after the addition of aaa authorization network command

    Hello

I test an aaa authentication switch when it does not communicate to ISE, and I found a strange behaviour. After that I added the aaa accounting and authorization authentication controls and reloaded the switch I was not able to connect to the switch with the GANYMEDE login

The switch continued in cycles showing the banner give 3 times authentication failure message and then the cycle begins with the failed, banner and sign message

I removed the aaa authorization network command and I reloaded the switch and I was able to connect successfully.

could someone help me with this problem.

    Hi Nitesh-

This command (... aaa authorization network) has nothing to do with the admin authorization on the n basis (in this case, the switch). This command applies to the network connections such as PPP, SLIP, etc.

In addition, aaa authorization can be performed by Ray and not only GANYMEDE +. RADIUS is not too powerful and you can provide authorization command sets but you can always return roles and different levels of privilege.

Have you tested the above configuration syntax? I did and it works as expected!

Thank you for evaluating useful messages!

  • Wrt1900acs nine installed today - peripheral unknown offline appearing in the network map

Installed my new wrt1900acs today, began to connect devices, signed for the Smart Wifi Linksys. The network card correctly displays all connected devices, but there is a mystery device appear offline. I have used Parental controls to block access to this device until I can find more.

How would a device appear? It should be linked at some point?  The new router has only been for 3-4 hours.  I connected only 2 laptops, a desk and a phone to iOS. Have not connected my non - iOS wifes phone still.  There are also 2 other routers and networks connected to the same Comcast modem.

The mystery device is presented as "generic device" with only a name and a MAC address.  I was able to remove, but did not know if there was a simple explanation for it.

Yes it should have been connected or on the network at any given time.

Use the clear network adapter icon in the top-right corner of the user interface to allow the map to regenerate. I could take a few minutes.

  • Satellite A200-1The - peripheral unknown in Device Manager

I have the suite listed under question marks in my device manager:

    ? Multimedia controller
    ? Network controller
    ? Unknown device

I installed the sound and it works
I installed the network card and it works

    What are the above devices?

Stand by. Which operating system you are trying to configure?

Have you checked on the Toshiba download section if the installations Instructions document is available? If you follow this document you will install everything you need and everything will be OK.
Anyway, multimedia controller can be peripheral multicard reader, network controller is probably wireless card. I can't say what unknown device because I know not what drivers you have installed.

    Hello

a week after the purchase, I decided to replace the OEM Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional.
(I am a student and I need the professional version). Everything works perfectly except the safety edge. With the Windows OEM, it worked fine, but still it no longer responds.

When I open the Device Manager there is an unknown device. (Details: ACPI\TOS6205) I don't know what it is.

I hope I explained my problem properly. English is not my mother tongue...

    Hello

With edge, you mean the buttons illuminated on your laptop, right?
Well for these buttons, you need to install Toshiba Value Package added that you can download from the Toshiba driver download page. This package contains drivers for the illuminated buttons, FN keys, etc. then you need to install it:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

ACPI\TOS6205 must be Bluetooth device then install the software portal BT BT:

  • Listed unknown network device

Two unknown devices appear on my player network as 'EXPTRACKINGPC '.

    "

These network devices are automatically added as part of the Windows Media Player sharing features? The first one above is protected by password and I can't access the file. I don't like sharing media through Windows Media Player, how can I get rid of them?... .or is that a hack program that somehow got installed despite my security measures that have been taken? I can't find anything on the web dealing with these devices. Thank you

It looks like another computer on the network.  You could probably open a command and ping the PC name to see what IP address it has.  Perhaps even then go to your router and disconnect them from your network.

Some ISP problems (configuration errors) can also make your neighbor computers appear in your network.
