Failure of the workaround:
Submit a new application or change the video driver.
No effect. Problem returns.

Steps to follow:
Even scrambled corrupted icons on the start screen of Windows, erasing some or all the details icon, but not the bottom area.
Results:
Again, scroll back he made come and go.
Just maybe 1 time per week on the start screen, everyday in browsers.

Hi Chris,

1. What is the Biostar mother board model number?

2. What are the specifications of onboard graphics card?

3. have you updated the BIOS and drivers from the chipset?

Check if the Biostar mother board model is compatible with Windows 8 by clicking on the link.

Since you mentioned the problem on different versions of Windows 8. Either the card mother or graphics card is perhaps not compatible with Windows 8, or you must update the BIOS and drivers from the chipset. Contact the motherboard manufacturer support to improve the assistance on the update of the BIOS.

Warning of the BIOS:

BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

If the problem persists, you will need to update your graphics card. For more information, see supported by motherboard Biostar.

    Hello

As I said on your other thread:

In order to write in the shared directory/documents, your application should request action "access_shared" and it must be granted by the user. Make sure you have

    access_shared

    in your bar - descriptor.xml.

Also note that the shared documents folder may not be the best place to write the application log data. There is one connects / in the sandbox to this effect, or the application directory data / directory if the information should be persisted. The documents/shared/folder is designed for documents that the user creates or interacts with.

  • Horizontal lines in all modes (boot, safe mode etc.)

Horizontal lines across my screen all... This occurs during startup, in POST, on the login screen in SafeMode etc etc...

    Example 1:

the PC will sometimes hang after POST, before starting Windows and occasionally asking me if I'd like to try to get it back, that does not solve the problem. If she manages to get to the standard login screen, after typing my password, the PC will crash.

I am able to boot in safe mode, but the lines are still there.

    Example 2:

This obviously isn't a problem of graphics driver that the problem persists in safe mode and when starting. I also tried on 2 different monitors, who work very well when hooked to other devices.

If someone could give me a solution or an idea where the problem may lie... I would be eternally grateful.

  • I had the virus 'file system' I ran most of MS who removed it... then the screen turned gray and all the icons and files have disappeared... I can't use restore even in safe mode

I had the virus 'file system' and ran the Microsoft Essentials who kidnapped... Then the screen turned grat and all my tyop desktop icons disappeared and my files... I tried to use the restore but it wouldn't return back or in SafeMode... also, I get a notice that the Task Manager is disabled? How can I turn back?

    Hi David McGeady.

    ·         You are able to open in safe mode Task Manager?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Scan the file system (CFS) auditor to repair corrupted files.

Description of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 System File Checker (Sfc.exe)

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310747

Method 2: It seems that the virus is still there. Performs a search using the Microsoft safety scanner.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: If bad sectors are found in the hard drive, then it could try to fix this particular sector. If you have any data on that, it can get lost.

Method 3: Create a new user account.

How to create and configure user accounts in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/279783

If the problem is resolved in a new user account, and then follow the article on how to fix a corrupted user account.

Where settle this on Vista Home Premium? Impossible to find.

    Hello

Control Panel - Power Options - Choose top left when turn off display

Also check the power Plans - change plan settings - check those and advanced settings
Reset to default values if necessary and then set as you wish.

Control Panel - personalization - screensaver

I hope this helps. Rob - bicycle - Mark Twain said it is good.

Start my computer, it will default to the CTRL ALT DEL screen.  After graduating in the login screen I enter the password.  Windows will start and then the screen starts flashing and the screen say Logging Off, then restore the screen to the CTRL ALT DEL I can boot into safe mode.  All other functions will not work.

    Thank you

I guess you wanted to ask how to solve the problem. If then all in Safe Mode you can use system restore to set up Windows to a point when the problem did not exist.

  • Why all my open windows minimize when I move another window on the screen?

    Hello

What happens is that when I move a window on the screen all my other windows minimize, as this half the window sometimes disappears or appears another window on top.

I am currently running Windows 7, it is aware of the updates. I ran virus checks. Also, I found a way to stop it from happening by unchecking the "use Visual styles on windows and buttons" in the performance options, however my PC should run with this setting is enabled, and it has been for more than a year.

If it helps, here are the basis for my PC specifications:

    i5 - 2500 k

    8 GB RAM

1 TB SSHD (this is where the BONE is)

    HARD DRIVE 500 GB

    160 GB HDDGTX 770

    OCZ ZS 650W 80 + Bronze

All the drivers are up to date.

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks in advance,

    Alex

I don't know why I didn't try this earlier but I changed the theme to one of those aero preset instead of one custom I made, has so far prevented the problems I had with the windows tearing and glitching. Im not sure what caused my custom aero theme to cause a lot of problems.

    Hello and thank you all,

So I have a dv61149 windows7 running with a broken screen, the screen has not been a problem so far that I have an external monitor via VGA. Now I have to do a cover of the factory, but I don't see what I do once my computer reboots into recovery!

HP Recovery Manager says his will reboot in recovery environment, very cool. but I'm sure theres buttons to hit after the reboot... so. pWnd?

Thanks for the reply but I fixed it myself. I could not buy a new screen. obviously. so I disassembled the laptop computer and completely deleted my screen. now when I boot, the computer can't find it so it automatically sends out video via vga. I see same BIOS now.

Hope this helps anyone else with this problem. take apart seemed to be a huge task but it wasn't bad at all, my computer pretty much had like 15-20 screw the rest just broken into pieces and broken back together, it was pretty easy.

    using HP DV6 1149WM

    Good luck

  • Ink Deskjet F4580 HP60 horizontal lines, tried all possible solutions

I have a HP Deskjet F4580 (old, I know) who has been sitting in my closet for about a year. I just bought a total amount of new ink for it (and probably paid more ink than the printer's worth), but while the black ink works fine, color ink does not work, send me white lines through the bands of color on every possible test or diagnostic page that I could possibly print. I cleaned the cartridges, clean the contacts, reset the printer, run the Print nozzle cleaning and run alignments. I'm on the tipping point of dreaming all violent means that I could possibly throw this printer in a way that would make the $75 I spent on ink is worth it. ALL suggestions are welcome, but I have all my scowering prowess tech past the internet for clues, so please do not suggest a forum search. What baffles me the most, is that since several cartridges do not work, I guess that the problem to be with the printer itself, but the black cartridge works fine.

    Thank you all,.

    Ryan

I would say that the troubleshooting steps described in the paper here.  When you print a diagnostic page as on the solution six are there lines across the three colors in the same place?  If yes the problem is almost certainly an electrical contact between the printer and cartridge or a failure.  To remedy this, I suggest to clean the contacts of the cartridge and printer as shown in the document here.  (It is a different model, but the procedure is the same.)

If this does not resolve the issue please scan and post you printed the diagnosis page.  Black information serial number in line 11. privacy.
