GBIC SG300 port - 28 p does not

The switch is configured for level 3 routing.  27 port has been used as a Transceiver fiber without any problems for several weeks. This week I tried to connect a second fiber transceiver to Port 28, and it wouldn't work.

Swapped the physical GBIC modules in the ports, and the situation remained exactly the same thing: 27 Port works, Port 28 would not work.

Connected to the copper part of the combo Harbour 28, she immediately connected and worked well.

Connected to an external Fiber Transceiver box to place the GBIC in Port 28, and immediately connected and worked well.

Swapped the new rider of fiber (28 Port) with the rider of fiber existing (Port 27), and the new connection came immediately and worked well.  The existing connection would not work when it is connected to the Port 28.

By "does not", I'm not able to ping on the connection.  The link light lights up and flashes.  Transmit/receive statistics show that if the data addresses on this switch, but the other side of the connection of Port 28, the watch switch Transmit traffic, but not receive traffic.

Any ideas what I should try next?   The only thing I can think is that there is an internal hardware problem in the fiber port.

Indigo, you don't have to pull it. The switch is authorized to advance RMA replacement for free. Simply call the support centre, open a ticket, they will go through a process of solving problems, and if the conclusion is that the switch is faulty, then a switch is shipped to you, once you receive the replacement, you can return the defective one.

  • Portege A600-133 - Slim Port Replicator III does not entirely

    Hello...

I just got a Slim Port Replicator III (model PA3681E-2PRP) and annexed a number of devices (a VGA monitor, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse), according to the user manual.

The unit, however, does well with my laptop (a Portege A600-133). Specifically, the laptop battery does not, the devices are not recognized and docking led remains off. However, the laptop turns on and off of the port replicator power switch, and the ethernet port also works very well.

    Clues?

    Thank you!

As my webcam, this one does not work too.

It seems that Satellite C75-A-12D PSCE2E 04804UGR was already pre-installed with the 64-bit Windows 8.1 System.

I would recommend you to get the system to point in time early (before the MS updates was installed). In case this isn't possible, use the Toshiba HDD retrieve and set the operating system to factory settings.

Then make sure that the webcam, but also two USB ports.
In case everything would work properly, perform the updates of the system of Ms.

  • RV-320 Port Address Translation does not

    Hi all

I have a really weird question that drives me crazy.  I have a somewhat complex configuration that goes something like: access provider Internet by Modem cable ==> internal ==> ASA5505 ==> LAN router.  Have a few servers on the internal network, I want to be able to access from the outside.

Everything worked fine until I decided to trade in my old router 1841 for this RV router, because it has faster WAN interfaces and uses less energy.  Initial Setup was extremely easy.  Port Address Translation is enabled by default, my internal clients can get out of the 'net without problem.  But no matter what I try, I can't access internal servers.

I contacted the support of Cisco.  They spent about 2 hours on my machine and ultimately told me that the problem is with my ASA (it is no longer under warranty).  But still I can disconnect the RV and reconnect the 1841 (or a former 1605, I still have) and all begin to operate.

To prove or disprove the ASA being the culprit, I decided to test trying to open an SSH session to the SAA itself.  Should not be double-nat, as the ASA didn't need to pass this traffic to another internal peripheral.

Once I try a connection (and it fails), I check the log "inbound" on the RV he gets 3 hits, indicating 'successful connection '.

Details of the journal are strange.  It shows the port as Eth1 and port out Eth0.  Seems to me this should be reversed, as I use as my ISP port WAN1 and WAN2 for my network internal.

The IP Source address matches the external IP I use; lists correctly inside the ASA

Most confusing are the MAC addresses.  The MAC Source does not belong to everything that I have, I would say.  I checked all the interfaces on the RV, the ASA and my switches.  The MAC (00:12:d9:54:a7:63) shows that belonging to Cisco.  My cable modem is a Cisco device.  But it shows a completely different Mac.  It is a mystery.  Then address MAC of Destination solved the WAN1 on the RV is interface * that * correct?

Please tell me where I can go from here.  I can't believe that this device cannot successfully perform a translation of port address / redirect.

    Thank you!

    Brian

    Brian,

Sorry about the way it had to go on the creation of personalized services, I didn't it would fail to ports known. I'll see if I can find someone here who can give advice on the installation of the ASA, although this would be a good idea to post your questions and config in these forums.

HDMI port does not work... tried updating the video drivers... only available drivers are for windows 7 64 bit... .my system is Windows 7 Home premium... .cant find drivers so please help

    Hello Daniel,.

The drivers that we post do not pay attention to the flavor of Windows 7 you are using.

They work in all versions (home premium, professional, ultimate).

Video drivers you are looking for are in the 7 64 Windows section you mentioned.

    Hello

    > I have the display mode to extend the desktop on the second monitor, and I think it sends the output SVGA mailed rather than the TV output
This could be the key; try to use the FN + F5 keys until you have to spend on TV and not on the external monitor.

  • Tecra A9 - Express Port Replicator: DVI does not

I recently bought a Toshiba Express Port Replicator for my laptop Toshiba Tecra A9 PTS52E because I need DVI to connect my external monitor to the laptop Tecra A9 has only a built-in VGA.

After you connect the laptop to the monitor I get no output on the external monitor, however. Descriptions of Replicator Port Express said that it has a DVI - D, my monitor has a DVI - D and the cable is a cable DVI - D single link so everything * should * work.
I don't get out Visual at any time, nor in the BIOS (I can't find any options BIOS based DVI as well) or the OS.

What is the trick to get this working? I have tested the monitor on the other workstations and the VGA out of the docking station works with other monitors as well, but unfortunately not via DVI with that I want to use.

Like many I know the on some series laptop Port Replicator DVI port unusable if the laptop doesn't supports this port!
For example, the Tecra M1, M2 can use the DVI - D port and Tecra S1 cannot use it!

  • Router WNDR3400 wireless Port status showing does not the wireless settings

    Hi all

Recently my SSID name is not recognized (2.4 and 5 GHZ). These had been configured manually. Looking at the Port of Wireless Router Status indicates that it is empty. I've reconfigured the Basic and wireless settings and I still don't see the SSID, etc. in the wireless Port. Example: The name (SSID) WirelessNet2G. In the wireless Port name (SSID) and any parameters are empty.

It wasn't a problem until a week ago, when my wireless connections said "out of range".

    Thanks for any advice.

Please close this post. Applies the settings default, and re-installed.

  • Ports USB R61i does not

    All started 3 days ago.

    I use a Lenovo Thinkpad R61i 8932-GCU 32bits of Windows Vista Business Edition (SP2).

Suddenly, the USB ports stopped working.

I checked the Device Manager, but everything was fine with the USB key. However, the Teredo Tunneling PseudoInterface had this small yellow triangles. (Status: this device cannot start - code 10). When I tried to turn it off, to see if there was any conflict, Microsoft Management Console (MMC) became unresponsive.

That same night, Windows Update is also became unresponsive during the installation of an update for the Ricoh SD card reader. When I tried to turn off the reader of SD cards, MMC has crashed again. I tried to uninstall the Device Manager USB drivers... MMC has crashed again.

I tried an another Windows Update, but he also became unresponsive while trying to create a Restore Point

I would really appreciate help on these issues

    Thanks in advance

    Philippe

I think you should think about resinstalling the operating system from scratch.
