Get Windows only not authentic on a Windows 7 computer.

It's impossible. I just received this message today. I bought my computer EQUIPPED at BEST BUY, five years ago. It happened not in the five years that I have owned my PC. It's horrible and you're wrong.

I bought my PC fully charged to a trust to avoid retail chain of garbage like that. Such a horrible accusation. It came with disks or something like that. You don't think it's strange that suddenly everyone has this problem today?

  • Group residential remote station sees only not all drives on the primary computer

    Hello

I have a Windows 7 Homegroup work with a desktop and laptop.

Since my laptop I can see and access the various folders and files on the main drive of my desktop computer. However, I can't see or access various other drives, I have attached to my desktop.  I do not use the notion of "libraries". I need access explicitly the drives and folders.

SOLVED!  Readers attached to the main unit (office) (for example, h :) were not visible under homegroup in the portable navigation pane, so I guess that they could not be found when I had no access (in Word) via \\{MainMachineName}\h:\{RequiredFile}.)

It turns out you need to omit the colon after the drive letter, while to a local drive, you need colon. Simple as that!

Can't see how to disable "Response required" flag!

  • "Peer not authenticated" with RDS by using SSL configuration

We have a remote ColdFusion 11 server, and I'm trying to configure ColdFusion Builder 3 on a Windows 7 computer.  I have this connection RDS in HomeSite with a SIMILAR configuration, but I get a "peer not authenticated" error in ColdFusion Builder on the same computer, the connection to the same server with HomeSite with success.

I have seen references to AdminServerComponents_WWEJ.zip and have that downloaded and installed the files in ColdFusion11, but when I run 'adminstart' I get:

'jrun' is not recognized as internal or external, command an executable program or batch file.

There is no "jrun.exe' on this server.  So can I assume that this folder and the procedure are not necessary for ColdFusion 11?

I can't find all the answers anywhere on how to get this working with ColdFusion 11...

Thanks for any help, that all the world can offer.  -bg

After a very successful remote with Charlie session (including diagnostics and troubleshooting skills are beyond amazing), we got this sorted out.  It seems that HomeSite approve the SSL certificate on the web server, but ColdFusion Builder does not work.

We had export the SSL certificate of the website (external) that we used as RDS host (save it in a .cer file) and import it into the certificate of ColdFusion Builder (C:\ColdFusionBuilder3\jre\lib\security\cacerts) store on my PC running ColdFusion Builder using the keytool JDK program.

Problem solved.  I couldn't EVEN understand it on my own...

    Thank you, Charlie!

I bought a new laptop without an operating system installed. Then, I asked for a computer shop install Windows 7. In the properties of the computer system, he showed his & OEM Windows 7 has been activated. I could install Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Live Essentials, which indicates that Windows is authentic. But after that I installed Windows 8 dual-boot with Windows 7, Windows 7 not genuine. Office Tournai black screen and it says: "Windows is not genuine". I tried to download Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and installed. Windows transformed in real dos, but they gave me 30 days to activate Windows 7. The computer shop didn't give me a product key. • Build 7601, not authentic Windows. Can I change OEM Retail?

Windows 7 Home premium OEM worked very well on my PC at home built for 6 months or more. Then I started getting warnings that the version is not authentic. I bought the software from a reputable supplier and I thought that you had to use OEM on a new PC. I did research as much as I can on the subject, but I am reluctant to pay again for a commercial version. Can't understand why MS would allow sales OEM versions to the public if they can only be used by certified computer manufacturers? Is there something I can do? I don't mind paying a small fee if I committed a mistake, but not the entire cost.

Windows vista laptop, but the activation code on the bottom is for windows xp pro, what I can do

You have an Acer laptop, Packard Bell Windows Vista computer running?

Packard Bell OEM Windows can only be used on machines from Packard Bell.

If the label says XP, then the machine was initially delivered with XP,

and the one who sold you the machine will rip you off with an illegal copy of Vista.

If you can, get your money back.

If not, you will have either to reinstall XP, or get a legitimate copy of something more recent.

  • How can I fix the windows 7601 build bug not authentic?

Like many people, I seem to have contracted the problem to build 7601. My copy of Windows 7 seems to think that it is not authentic.

    How can I fix it?

I have absolutely no reason to believe that my copy of Win7 is not genuine. He is come pre-installed on a Compaq Presario that I bought in TESCO for several years and until a month ago, never threw to the top of the screen "not true." The Unit came with the sticker on top which included the series product key.

I have read other discussions on this topic and they all seem to contradict each other and also seem to be quite old. They mention an update uninstall then advise against it. A related to a patch from Microsoft that no longer exists.

I found online a tutorial that showed me how to operate the SLMGR-REARM in the DOS window. It worked for the first three times that my copy flaked out but of course, then stopped.
I then discovered a tutorial that showed me how to reset the key "reg" to allow the RESET to work again. It worked only once. Since then, I was unable to fix it. In any case, it is all to treat the symptom, not the cause.

When I finally got the license to operate properly, I checked for Windows updates, but my Windows updater told me that there is no available update and that my Win7 was completely up to date.

Of course, I can't check the updates now that Win7 thinks that it is not authentic.

I recently did a hot-swap to my HD of the Compaq Presario mentioned previously in a new machine. I used the method prescribed essentially disconnect all my drivers and put Windows in some sort of fashion 'sleep' before the Exchange. I forgot what it's called but it's a feature of Windows designed to minimize problems when hot-swapping. 7601 the problem seems to start a month or two after that, and I wonder if this is the cause.

I had a number of profiles corrupted demanding a restoration of the profile in the registry as well, but they date to before the hotswap and return at the beginning of the year. I suspect bad sectors on the disk and wonder if it is maybe the cause also.

While 7601 is does not interfere with my day-to-day work day on the machine (other than the annoying popups to warning), I want to fix because it is just gauling, knowing that it's really a genuine copy of Windows 7.

I will continue to trawl through the other posts to build 7601, but if there is a solution to current day, I would be grateful to hear it.

    Wayne

Well, after reading a load of complex technical solutions, install this, delete, change, etc. Someone suggested I just go in the key product Activation and it worked. Don't know for how long but I'll scan for bad sectors on the disk hard where the information is to be corrupt.
