  I have a problem with my HP Envy TS m6 sleekbook... When you start at the beginning it shows manufacturing programming mode is unlock mode... in fact it's not a problem coz its without impact on my work... bt I don't like it... so how can we solve this problem... as is here no center of hp's close can I do on my own?  If Yes, then please write the steps to do this

  Updated to win 10 to win 7pro. In Device Manager, it indicates a problem. (Dell Latitude E6420). My Manager of the cd/dvd device open device and reads "hl-dt-st dvd rom dv30n. I guess I am missing a driver. Any ideas? Anyone knows that it is?

  Plan to reinstall win 7. Your model is not approved for the upgrade by Dell and may not have suitable win 10 drivers. Wait to get the win 10 on a new computer.

  You can try the Device Manager, right-click on the cd player, update driver to let windows find a driver win 10.

  This computer over 3 years, I decided to add a dvd player/burner. When I did it was no problem

  with the video but the sound is distorted and basey. I thought that the dvd was at fault and has returned. Bought

  another of different sources and make (listed above) and had the same problem. After some checking, I found

  I didn't have a dvd decoder installed and purchased and installed one of intervideo. Same problem! now, I ran that all listed troubleshooting of microsoft and dell for the dvd and audio/sound problems. Triple checked

  all drivers. Still the sound is distorted, cd end play and all other sound sources. Someone at - he a clue

  Hi, my cd/dvd drive used to work fine, now when I put a cd or dvd it does not and will not play. I've done all the suggested troubleshooting (cleaning filters, uninstall and re-install drivers, ran several troubleshooting tools and I either get a code 10 or simply "insert disk in drive" little matter how many times I install Disc. re - install my player appears under properties PC said work very well, and I can hear the light but no sound or I'm at my wit's end pic.) , can someone tell me what would be directly tell me if my drive is simply grilled or if it's a driver problem which everything suggests it is, I tried re-installing new drivers directly from the manufacturing and tried several cd / DVD that works on other devices or is known to have worked on my drive before this problem. I am running vista family 32 premium, which is installed at the factory, my PC is a HP pavilion a610t, I would be grateful for any advice...   The first thing that I would recommend before you do the radical and re install Windows or upgrade to Windows 7, is to make sure that you have backed up your files. Make sure that you have a separate player and follow the steps described in this article.

  To be honest, it sounds like the drive has gone wrong at this stage. Normally, this sounds like it would be a driver problem, but if you have uninstalled them and are 100% sure that you have installed the good and still no joy, so I think we can exclude.
  Have you tried several discs in the drive, correct? It is not just a problem with the special CD that you use right?
  I would say your best bet is at this time to try another drive on the machine, especially if you do not want to go through the hassle of reinstalling Windows. You may be surprised how well they come these days. The last of them, that I bought on Amazon (I think) was a little more than $25 in the United States.

• Why do my colors differ with Win DVD maker?

  Here's the long version... I use Windows Movie Maker 2.6.  I have a bunch of photos I shot in raw (Pentax K10 - D) and edited in Photoshop. In the middle of the process, I thought I'd be a good idea to calibrate my monitor, so I downloaded the software and calibrated using an old HueyPro.  When I put in place the film in MovieMaker, the colors looked really good.  After putting on the DVD, the colors are off. in particular, the uniforms are disabled.  They should be a dark blue.  On the DVD, they have much lighter air.  (All the colors are a little off, but the Blues seem to be particularly affected.)  If it helps, the DVD is just as bad on the PC and TV ;)

  I'm sure it's a question of color profile.  However, I'm over my head on how to solve this problem.
  In the System32\spool\drivers\color folder, including the color profile Huey.  Adobe also has its own wsRGB.icc and wscRGB.icc to (c:\users\Steve\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows).

  but you have to start over. Personally, I think

  Applies to Windows 7, but may apply to other versions of Windows as well.
  Software recovery disc creation creates a set of system recovery discs using DVD blank, recordable (DVD - R or) DVD + R. HP recommends to use blank DVD + R disks. Use a label of the brand from a manufacturer that trust you, because the recovery DVDs is very important. You need about 2 blank DVD + R discs. Disc Creator software program indicates how many discs are needed early in the process.

  NOTEnly DVD-R and DVD + R discs are compatible with the program of creation of recovery disks. The following disc types are not compatible with the program of creation of recovery disks: CDDVD-RWDVD + RWDVD-R DLDVD + R DLDVD-RW DLDVD + RW DL

  @rleigh... You can't use DVD + R DL (double layer) discs to create recovery discs. These discs are not supported for this operation.

  @Starry... You cannot use DVD DL or RW to create on a HP/Compaq system recovery disks.

• Windows media player won't recognize DVD

  My media player can read and play a CD from the CD but when I insert a DVD, nothing happens. Furthermore, I recently installed a software AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 to burn DVDs and would like to know if this new software is the cause of the problem. When I insert a DVD, the AnyDVD does not analyse it and Windows Media Player will not play it (or he acknowledges in the DVD player). And when I try to clone using CloneDVD2, the dialog box says "unable to read video files" and "the device is not ready."   Update your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM driver:
  1. click on start and then click Control Panel
  2. click on system and Maintenance
  3. under Device Manager, click on devices and equipment display
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
  4. develop CD-ROM/DVD-ROM
  5. click on your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive, and then click Properties
  6. Select the driver tab
  7. click on the Update Driver button.
  8. Select search automatically a updated driver

  Windows will now look for an update for your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drivers locally and on the internet and then guide you through the process of installing the driver.  If it is impossible to find a driver, you can go to website CD-ROM/DVD-ROM from the manufacturer of your and download all the drivers updated.

  To find the manufacturer and model of your CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive:
  1. click on start and then click Control Panel
  2. click on system and Maintenance
  3. under Device Manager, click on devices and equipment display
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
  4. expand devices CD-ROM/DVD-ROM

  I had strange current bug.

  I burnt a dvd using a dvd image I created with yet.

  This image was perfectly fine, I checked it with an imagesoftware. each button was existing and accessible.

  After the burning process, I checked the dvd using my pc. everything is good.

  then I tried it on a conventional dvd player, which is actually a bluray player. and suddenly, one specific button among over 30 more was not more callable.

  using the slider on the remote it just jumped to the next on the menu button and ignored this specific one.

  My guess is that you had never properly set real NAVIGATION button.

  On a computer (including playing a DVD using a software/DVD drive emulator), you can select a button by pointing and clicking. You can't do that on a DVD/BD drive. You must go arrow arrow from one button to another.

  In still, look at the visualization of menu and activate the button routing.

  It is possible that you have exceeded the max button (36 for 4:3; 18 for 16:9), but I think you want to see other issues.

• Half frame of slide shows - DVD burning slide

  I created a slide show in Photoshop Elements 10.  I then clicked on exit to begin the process of creating a DVD.  When the show transferred to first Elements 10, only the lower part half each frame dia appeared and thus produced a slide show DVD with only the bottom half of the frame.  I then tried to burn a new DVD of slide show that I had burned successfully on a previous occasion.  By clicking again on the production and following the menu, I had the half frame again when I arrived for the DVD burning program in first Elements 10.  Can someone give a help?
