Hacked? Malware? Virus? Help!

OK, so I have a 6 Iphone for a while now and all goes well until a few days ago my phone started acting weird... He plays his announcement of the app. I heard "Mobile Strike" of its announcement at random and I panic (especially in the middle of the night!) Even with the closing of the screen and no apps open it will play all kinds of its announcement of the app. Also when the sound play the phone hangs and does not answer after the end of the music. The phone will reboot itself then the cycle repeats itself! This happens randomly and sometimes very frequently... There is no picture, just sound... also speechless, just music about 5 ~ 10 sec.

I am on IOS 8.1.2 and I will update to the latest version... it is just too scary, and I hope that this difficulty he...

Connect the phone to iTunes and restore to the latest Firmware to remove these little unusual issues

  • Phone call suspect on malware virus. Should I have one?

I received a phone call from "Gary", who said he was from Microsoft and that I had a malware virus on my computer and it should be supported until my computer became free.  He took me to the beginning/right clik on my computer/manage/event viewer/application where a long list of files with the information/error/warning in the left column came with files etc in the other columns.  He said this had to be cleaned and he could do but my Windows Security had expired and I need to restore WS for $129 for 2 years or $199 for 5 and then it would be "clean" my computer for me that would take an hour or two.  I told him I had no money and asked his phone number call at the time where I did.  What I always if Microsoft wants.  Anyway, I went to the MS site and ran the malware software and nothing came as a threat in the analysis.  I have McAfee running and nothing comes it of scan either.   In any case... is this guy legitimate?  My computer has a problem of malicious and ready to come out of the blue screen program?  How will I know?  My computer seems to work OK, but he said that when I go on the internet that someone is trying to hack in.  I know that this potential is still there, that's why I run an antivirus program.  Some programs are better than others?  Help me please to clarify all this.  Thank you

  • iMac, blocked by malware.  Help please!

This morning I was using all my usual internet links (Facebook, hotmail and a hotel site), and suddenly a window popped up almost directly after my iMac froze & the window OS Support popped up immediately followed by another indefinable window saying my iMac was blocked and had been infected with malware and a virus.  I stop everything, including my internet connection.  I then rang the published phone number.

Earlier, I restarted my Mac & internet - same thing happens again so I rang the number again and it turns out not to be Apple, quite probably the company that owns the malware trying to get US $150 to remove malicious software and viruses.  They said they were resting in the States.

I'm not very good with the workings of the Apple - I actually have no idea what to do.  My AppleCare had expired and he is demanding $ 39 just to talk with the Apple Support!  I paid $99 for this AppleCare & have never used once before.

    Hello CK64,

It is probably just adware. It is becoming quite common.

I wrote a small diagnostic program to help show what adware is installed. Download EtreCheck from http://www.etrecheck.com, run it and paste the results here. EtreCheck is perfectly safe to run, don't request your password to install and is signed with my developer Apple ID.

If adware is installed, EtreCheck will help remove you, although you may need to provide a password. If you are not comfortable with that, just after the report of EtreCheck here and other AIDS can tell you exactly which files should be deleted and the way to do it.

WARNING: Although EtreCheck is free, there are other links on my site that could give me some form of compensation, financial or otherwise.

  • Norton/Security Essentials detects the Virus Help!

    Hello

Recently I got a virus that seems to create a temporary file inside the application data area. When Norton detects the file it deletes. I then restart my pc and discover in the process that it has a different file name, IE: (61e.exe) I do not know if the virus changes its file name and tries to trick the protector. I also tried to use Malwarebytes. It detects the virus, but does not delete to restart the computer.

Anyway, I can't seem to find the root of this virus and I was wondering if someone could help.

    Best regards

    Scott

It is strongly recommended that you run only one antivirus at a time program. In more than one program antivirus active in memory uses additional resources and may result in program conflicts and false virus alerts. Your best defense against computer viruses and malware is to keep your up-to-date virus definitions and run AV Auto-Protect. If you choose to install more than one anti-virus on your computer program, only one of them should be active in memory at a time. (The AV module, which is active in memory is called Auto-Protect. Other antivirus programs will have different names for this function.)
