  I have a satellite pro 4600 and during operation normal and with out any warning the computer hangs the mouse does not move, numlock won't turn.
  And then with any alert the computer will work fine again.

  I noticed that the CPU fan is not working at all and never turns on (it helps: p)
  So I think it is perhaps that the CPU is heating or something for a long time these lines.

  Is there a program that can test the CPU fan or what I can do to fix this?

  The fan should start to turn and cool devices inside the laptop if the temperature rises to a certain level.
  If the cooling module does not work then it s very risky and not advisable to use the laptop! The processor and/or motherboard can damage!

  Usually, you don t need to install additional applications to control the use of the fan.
  The Toshiba laptop uses a Toshiba saver that controls the CPU and cooling for example method.

  Without this software, but also the cooling module should work! So if you think fans don t work properly you must contact the guys from technician to control the laptop!

  If three of the computers connected to the kvm switch are having the same problems, but not the others, it seems that it could be the switch kvm itself. I suggest try to connect a keyboard to the computer directly, if it works, try to reconnect the switch, ensuring that all connectors are properly attached. You can also try to use another port of the switch, anyway - if it works with the keyboard connected directly to the computer - the problem is most likely the switch and not the computer/os.

  From the information provided, I found something that caught my attention:

  event 1014, events dns client:

  Name resolution for the name of flashservice.adobe.com has expired after none of the servers configured DNS responded.

  We had problems with Flash player since the last update. For reasons I can't explain included on Adobe finally release this 'novelty' that basically makes a request to flashservice.adobe.com that never get an answer (the domain does not exist). The event shows your machine is trying to achieve this t area and finally the request is aborted by Timeout.

  This may be related to your problems, maybe not.

  To work around the problem, you can add flashservice.adobe.com in your host file and that it points to 127.0.0.1 in this way the process not be waiting for always a response which only you and take the next step.

  My Windows 7 Home Premium hangs (blue screen) to the 'Starting Windows' screen after reboot. I did hidden, but now I need to install drivers for my webcam and every time that I turn on "automatic driver installation" update of windows server, it installs not only the WebCam drivers, but also this «HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor» update Which brings me to the crash at the next restart of Windows. The only way is to return to the system restore point.

  I use a laptop "HP Compaq 6715 b" . I had Vista prior to this (it was preinstalled with HP all the "stuff"), but after upgrade (reinstallation) of windows 7, upgrading from windows found all the drivers (and graphics and sound and even the biometric device drivers), but is now something wrong after every update "HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor" . Why? Or at least I can make him 'banned '?

  Have you checked with HP on any problems with this software?  Here is a link for download of HP for the software.  You should also check that your BIOS is up to date.  I found some info on a wire of HP on the Data Protection sensor Mobile works is not propely.  This thread can also give you some other ideas.

• keyboard and mouse freeze, hang, do not work

  again, the question was better but once again tonight.

  I have windows xp pro, acer power non-portable pc, ps2 requires laser (not wireless) mouse.

  at random times and programs, they will work and the mouse may hang and then keyboard. Sometimes I can take the mouse out of the back and use it in another form. Sometimes he stop and go in that direction or not responded on the card, even if the light is on. I heard today 3 beeps of the tower and the keyboard and the mouse has frozen.  If the keyboard is blocked so the only thing I can do is turn it off and restart.   I finally found a solution for the mouse freeze problem which has been a pain in the A * because I bought the wireless mouse and used with my Windows 7 laptop. Try it to see if it works for me.

• Mouse/keyboard does not respond, system hangs

  I have a Touchsmart IQ816.  Sometimes the mouse and the wireless keyboard are block and the system seems to hang.  I see the blue light that comes when I type or move the mouse is turned on and will not turn off.  The touch screen sounds like I'm not the touch, but nothing happens on the screen.

  I don't know if the lock to the top is locked wireless receiver and nothing works on the screen because there is no entry or if the system itself is locked.

  Someone at - it ideas?

  Mouse freezes and won't spend. I have to restart my computer to get it working again. I sometimes get a message USB Port not recognized when it arrives , but not always.  Computer makes a noise like a USB port is connected when this happens.  Problem occurring each session on the PC and is VERY annoying.   The sad truth is that the mouse freeze problem is back. I searched the forum for other solutions, but so far without success.

  I am currently using MS Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 and just to make sure that the problem is with the mouse, I inverted this mouse on my other laptop which works also on Windows 7. Mouse freeze problem is replicated, which never happened before for my other laptop.
  Conclusion, until Microsoft is able to solve this problem, I opted for Logitech. I bought a Logitech M235 wireless mouse last night and keep your fingers crossed that the mouse freeze problem will disappear.
  Life is too short to be stressed more mouse freeze problem.

  Hi, when I try to install vista that Home Premium 32 bits on the computer of my son, through the installation of loading files with the gray bar at the bottom, then goes to the screen language selection, at this stage, I can not select anything using the keyboard or the mouse. There is no cursor visible. Keyboard and mouse both work fine in the bios and on other machines. Have used other keyboards and mice on the machine in question, but that makes no difference. Tried another copy of vista, no difference. Tested on Windows 7 install and everything works fine!
