  I don't want to install addon for youtube search. I just wanted to know if I can install the search engine for youtube as before.

  Exactly the same problem with my mac pro and panasonic plasma hooked up via hdmi. Worked fine before the update. Now, if I turn off the monitor, I have to reboot to get the screen to display an image, once it comes back on.

I connected my laptop to my TV via hdmi and it works absolutely fine, which is how I'M writing this issue right now. I tried to update the drivers for my graphics card, but that did nothing. It's just the backlight does not turn no more. is it far from accidentally turn the backlight on or off? If I have to completely replace the monitor or just replace the lighting? any suggestions?
