headphone splitter

I've seen ads for Add-ons that allow two sets of phones to be used on a player, so two people can share music.

What is the effect of this on the electronic system of the "rocket"? Is there a risk that the additional load will blow a component?

No doubt the extra demand will flatten the battery much faster?

see you soon

Thank you very much for your quick responses. They put my mind at rest.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook: microhpone does not work with jack 3.5 mm in the drop-down list

Hello! My laptop has a 2 in 1 combo (headphones and microphone) and I recently bought a new external microphone with a 3.5 mm jack plug, but when I try to use it with my laptop it acts as an audio output instead, and device if poster not can under my audio device management settings.

How can I use this external microphone without having to buy a splitter?

Forget it, I just bought a microphone/headphone splitter cable. Here is hoping that it works, cus, I spent a little over an hour on the phone with technical support only for the me saying "this is not something that they lead us on. I'll transfer you to a service that can help you. OH, BTW WHO IS GOING TO BE A CALL FOR $99.99! »

So, in short, I'll let you know if the Dispatcher works or not.

  • Taken WT310 of headset does not

I bought the Tablet 5 days ago, and 2 upgraded to Windows 10 days ago. All the drivers are up to date - 10.0.10240.16384, Audio Driver 6.0.1.7541. I show disabled devices, showing disconnected devices.
My problem is that it does not recognize a microphone plugged into the combined headphone/microphone jack. It does not appear as a recording device.
In fact, more than that, just about ANY device plugged into the headphone/microphone jack, either a microphone or an external speaker, completely puts built-in the WT310 Realtek microphone mute.

    Toshiba WT310106, part No.: PT134E001005EN

Help, please! I bought with the understanding that I could use an external microphone connected to the headphone/microphone jack. Thank you very much

My problem is that it does not recognize a microphone plugged into the combined headphone/microphone jack.

Did you use a microphone with a right sleeve?

The point is that the power socket that supports the headset and microphone requires special headphone jack or a microphone / headphone splitter.
Maybe this is not known to you that there are different types of Sockets: TS or TRS PLUG

Common headphone plug supports the TRS.
The headphone/microphone jack requires the use of SOCKET plugs.

I recommend you google for more details.

  • Y50 external microphone does not work do not

Bought the Y50 because it is decent spec for video editing (which works well), but - can not get the external microphone to work.

    Tried a headphones/mic adapter.

Tried all the different settings in Realtek HD Audio Manager

I tried Control Panel / its parameters - this allows me to use the ' Mic in towards the front (black), even if it's on the side of the laptop - the volume indicator shows a signal comes from the microphone. The other "Microphone" device also shows that it works for the built-in microphones. I can type each microphone independently to see the answer in each Panel.

But - I can't get any software on the laptop to record really any external microphone signal, what I need for the voice-over.

The Installer 'Configure your speech recognition' "Assistant configuration of the Microphone" show a small volume entry but repeat myself "the computer did not hear you clearly.

    Update

Feel a bit of a numpty - the microphone works now - whenever I tried to hear the recording of the test and I got the silence - that as a failure - I just needed to unplug the microphone from the socket to allow the speakers to play confused recording. Read white noise headphones - must deal separately with this!

Thus, the headphone splitter adapter is the key.

    Hello

Yes - as I posted in the update - separator solved the problem thanks.

  • INSPIRION 3543 - question about jack combo

Hi, I have a question about a laptop Inspiron 3543. He installed the combo input jacks, and I need to use the line of input and output audio.

Question 1: Is - it enough for me for this purpose a headphone splitter - 2 jack x ordinary?

Question 2: Is this laptop allows you to adjust the entry on the line in mic?

Sorry for the broken English, but I write with a translator: D

Question 1: Is - it enough for me for this purpose a headphone splitter - 2 jack x ordinary?

Hello. Jack combo on the Inspiron 15 3543 is intended to be used with standard stereo headphones, or with headphones (stereo headset with a built-in mono microphone).

In theory, a dispatcher or an adapter with a plug out of SOCKET (tip, ring, ring, sleeve) can be used with a combo Jack. A plug from SOCKET looks like this:

However, we have received many messages from people saying that the adapter did not work for them. Some people have posted and said that the adapter works for them.

Note that the entry of a combo Jack is mono. There is no way to make it be a stereo input.

    dayer41
Question 2: Is this laptop allows you to adjust the entry on the line in mic?

You can set the input mic in sound properties volume (Control Panel > Sound). Open the properties of the sound, and then click the recording tab at the top. Right click on the Microphone. Click 'properties '. Click the tab at the top levels to find the sliders to adjust the volume of the mic input.

It is similar to this image, except that you must click on 'Levels', not 'listen '.

  • Unable to get turtle beaches of audio recording.

    [Portable HP W / Turtle Beach x 12 & Windows 8]

[Helmet has the pink and green cables connected via a headphone splitter RadioShack]

[Audio still works and when I talk I can hear in the headphones]

I would first off the coast with I've been looking around for a while and seen a lot of similar questions to mine but none of the fixes I tried worked so maybe I have a fundamentally different problem then others.

My problem is that I want to record the audio of my turtle beach headset and that cannot be done through Camtasia, recording software I use, so I downloaded Audacity. Now when I watched "How to use Turtle beaches with boldness" he looked simple enough. Nominees only "Beaches of the turtles" in the Audacity record section. But... Who does not appear for me.

Also made no. WHERE on my PC is there any mention of the turtle beaches, although I can hear the audio very well, and Skype works perfectly with them. (Although the current headphones I use are ddifferentfrom those that I have Skype with they are the same exact type of Turtle Beach, I'm just a friend with him) Or maybe I just thought Skype worked perfectly and all the time it's just used my microphone internal?

But in all the videos ive seen beaches turtles would still be in beaches of turtles in the menu "device" and the sound. For me, I actually found what I believe to be the Turtle beaches: top left you can see the "helmet of communication"(ce même appareil est indiqué dans l'onglet"Lecture"dans le détroit ainsi) and those who are what I think are the turtle beaches, even so unlike other people I saw just "." , they are called Turtle beaches. And on the top right you can see the recording tab and it says "Currently unavailable" microphone with now, I'm not even sure if this is still the record of the beaches part turtle because when I tweak yesterday evening trying to solve this problem, they became just 'Unplugged' instead of unavailable and they were connected. I also tried turning off the other recording devices and I even uninstalled the stereo mix... It wasn't a good idea. But that is fixed now. I also tried affecting the default microphone and its properties of opening and stuff and there is a single tab "Général" tab it is no Advanced tab or whatever it is. And for the good of your time and the length of this question I'll take another screenshot.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? All I want to do is record my voice in the headphones, but sound not picked up and the reason why I'm here and not elsewhere as the Audacity forums is I am sure its a problem with my computer does not recognize it as a microphone or just not at all, personally, I don't know.

  • Satellite Pro R850 - 18K - use of the combined headphone/microphone jack

This laptop has a combined microphone/headphone plug, but I couldn't find on the helmets of the market with 4 Cinch works correctly. I have some headphones mobile with 4-pole, but if I plug it into the laptop socket, both internal microphone. and the headset. stop working.
    According to manual it work!

On my previous Toshiba I used 2 catches headset (red/green sheets), but if I connect it to the Pro 850, micro internal. will not work.

Can someone recommend, what type of headphones, I need to take care to be compatible with the model R850?
    -USB connection should be good?
-the so-called plug 4 pole should work, if not cell phone accessory?

If someone has already solved this problem, please advice me. Thank you.

    George

    Hello

Yes, according to the user manual, you must use a 4-pin headset to get the headset working.
If you use any other prang 4 pin two mic (internal and external) would be disabled.

    > On my previous Toshiba I used 2 catches headset (red/green sheets), but if I connect it to the Pro 850, micro internal. will not work.

I guess this pin 2 pin will not work in this case because the laptop supports only one taken headset.
So, what do you think about using a 4 - Pin to 2 x 3-Pin 3.5 mm Headset Splitter Adapter like this:

  • New adapter plug headphone 3.5 mm

I just bought the HP Envy x 2 laptop and it comes with the new 3.5 mm headphone/mic combo. What kind of card do I need to use the headphones a lot that I already have with this new. Why change the port and if you change it, why not put the new and old for a while?

Thanks for your quick response. It wasn't quite what I needed, but it put me on the track to find the part I needed a 3.5 mm male adapter that connects to the new port of HP and splits then try it in 2 3.5 mm female ports, one for audio / headphones and the other for a microphone: http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-MUYHSMFF-Headset-Splitter-Adapter/dp/B004SP0WAQ Best ASorkey

I do not think it is a matter of hardwear tho and am convinced that it can be resolved is so close to work, I'm sure there must be a setting or patch or codec sumthing that will correct the problem, but it's my first (LIRA) ask for help.

With frequent this problem or other similar appear from what my research has shown that I don't know that it can be resolved, or millions of laptops with drivers realtek audio hd are all defective.

My next try is an external usb sound card. I tried already but no stores in my area have them (Wal-Mart, the source, Staples), all had never heard what I was talking about. I saw on the web less than 5 dollars but have no confidence in the sites offering the devices. Has anyone bought from a trusted site.  could talk to the teak of microsoft but they wanted to charge me $ $50 so decided to save money to buy a card usb sound, if I can't solve the problem.

Sorry for any ignorance or typos and long reading but I hope someone can help with this problem

Check with the manufacturer of your system's support and their forums (if any).

Have you checked on the website of the manufacturer of the device for the latest drivers?

Realtek - HD Audio Codec Driver right side
    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/

Download - SAVE - will click with the button straight on and RUN AS ADMIN

NOTE: Often restore audio drivers to check the version after installing and restarting is
see if the version you have installed is there, otherwise repeat the installation - restart until it is. This may take
several tests according to the recommitments how much he makes.

  • No sound from front headphone jack

Just installed Creative blaster x - fi titanium sound card in my desktop HP P7 1234.  Everything works fine except no sound from the front headphone jack.  The jacdk worked until I installed the card.  I need the decision-making to use as another line for around the music of the pool.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

    Thank you

    Jay

If you install a card its additrional you can only use this smart - card ports on Board will be disabled.
You need to check if you can connect the ports of the façade to the new card - otherwise you will get a card where it would work.

Or simply use an audio splitter (Y-cable) to connect a second audio device to the new card.

  • Headphone Jack blackBerry Smartphones does not not with some devices

Most likely a shift of the impedance. The phone may be looking for a manager of specific impedance equivalent to special devices such as headphones. Most headphones for telephones are in the 40 ohms range 60 ohms. Some are falling in the range of 20 ohms. The device (car radio) may be loading high impedance and therefore the phone audio driver circuits do not recognize as an appropriate charge.

I've seen this kind of thing before. Try this...

get a simple audio splitter to allow two headsets on the same device. On the one hand, feed the car radio. On the other side to keep a helmet or headphones that work with the phone. If it works keep pushed headphones somewhere on the side.  This can make the circuits of telephone functions as if the same.

I've seen this kind of approach before...

  • How to use HDMI and plug headphones at the same time?

I'm running to a HDMI projector (via a HDMI-DVI adapter) for video and Composite (red & white RCA) using the socket for headphones and a splitter cable to a receiver of older Theater-in-a-box type for audio. But when I plug the HDMI, the headset turns off - no sound. I've seen people describe the ways to solve this problem for older versions of Windows, but I have Windows 8 and I'm unable to find. Thank you

    Michel,

Apparently, it is not possible to output sound via the HDMI and the headphone jack at the same time.  But if you want to watch the video via HDMI and listen via the headset follow these steps:
Right click on the speaker icon in the task bar > left, click playback devices > right-click on HDMI > disable.
    It works for me.
