Help: A power supply using labview programming

I recently saw entrust the task to our diet TDK Lambda with Labview programming work. It is IE to be able to set the voltage of 16V to 18V and adjust it back by 1 V every minute for an hour. No idea where to start, because I'm a bit lost?

a bit of code to help you get started...

of course, this reinforces the tension only and not launch into it...

  • A non programmable power supply with LabVIEW + additional programming hardware

My company is interested in the use of LabVIEW to automate a non programmable DC power supply. The instrument in question is the U8001A device, but the idea must be the same, regardless of the manufacturer (the instrument was purchased while I was hired, or I would have opted for one with SCPI commands if that's a thing for power supplies):

    http://www.Tequipment.NET/AgilentU8001A.ASP?source=googleshopping&gclid=CMn-rPzAks0CFZM6gQodMu4McQ

We have two connectors that would be plugged into the power supply and in the 'brick' that holds some sample we want to warm up. This has worked well for our initial target, but we are now interested in time these events alongside 1-2 other instruments that we are exploited (for example a-ohmmeter for quality control), where we can control all this through LabVIEW. Say, only allowing the power reaching the sample at intervals of 5 seconds, with widths of 1-2 seconds impulse.

I'm sure I'll need a multifunction data acquisition device, and I already have my eyes fixed on the purchase of the NI USB-6501 (link below). My main question is about any additional material which is necesasry, if only a debate of ideas cenceptual on what I'm trying to accomplish. I can do everything I plan only through the acquisition of data, or are there other necessary materials, such as doors? What type of material is suitable for it? I apologize if this is the wrong sub-forum for this topic, as seems to be the subforum of material more appropriate upon publication. Thanks for your time!

Not even an analog command on this power supply... Range of tension and how much power do you need?  You may be able to make an operational amplifier circuit, but find out who can handle that many likely power won't be easy.

Honestly, I say just to bite the bullet and get a programmable power supply.  It will be cheaper as you try to make a personalized tour to adapt to a peg in a hole square circle.

  • What equipment I need another for the purposes of the on/off switch, adapt output voltage/current using labview program

This is my first time to use labview, I want to use the program to control the DC power for the start/stop it or set the output to program automatically.

Now I had the (supply) instrument, got a computer with labview. I know that I have to buy a GPIB cable, making a connection between the instrument and the computer. But I do not know what to buy? Cable GPIB or GPIB controller. Confused.

    Thank you

A GPIB cable, by itself, will do nothing. You need a GPIB controller connected to your pc. With the NI USB-GPIB-HS controller, you can connect directly to a single instrument and no need for a separate cable. If you go with an internal controller to a pc (i.e. PCIe), you need a cable to connect the controller to the instrument.

You can also check if the power supply has other options such as Ethernet or USB remote control.

  • Using Powershell V3 to change the status of the power supply using WS-Management through iDRAC (PE r.620)

    Hi all

I've been playing with WS-Management on the DRAC with PowerShell V3. I wanted to try to see if I could do the simple things. The task that I started has get and change of power on a PowerEdge r.620 State. I thought it would be fairly easy...

Theres a lot written on this topic, but the examples from here

    http://en.community.Dell.com/TechCenter/systems-management/w/wiki/4374.how-to-build-and-execute-wsman-method-commands.aspx

    and here

    http://en.community.Dell.com/TechCenter/Extras/m/white_papers/20206146.aspx

both use WinRM in their examples

I find it quite difficult to understand how I would achieve the same results using WinRM, but using the new v3 PowerShell cmdlets (get-CimInstance, New-CimInstance, Set-CimIntance, Invoke-CimMethod, etc.)

I'm ok, get the basic information from the DRAC using these commands, but I must admit that I am a little lost in how to manage things from the endpoint reference (EPR). Each example of WinRM speak back EPR, then using those of the WinRM method call, but I just can't see how to do this with the new PowerShell commands

IM asking if someone did or has examples of how do?

It would be great if the authors of these documents could provide examples in PowerShell v3

  • Laptop HP COMPAQ power supply used on

So I was waiting for my laptop at the end of the updates and I was about to turn on again when it suffice to stop and gave me an orange light on the side where the charger goes, instead of a blue light.

I don't know what its from. It doesn't. When I press the power button, the orange light flashes.

Tilted on its side when you perform updates because I wanted no more heating.

    that could play a role.

I tipped it on its right side. He lost for a good 20 minutes.

    Any help?

    Thank you

Try to remove the battery. Plug in the power adapter and press the power button to see if it lights.  If your laptop doesn't work with only the adapter connected, then either your power adapter, connector dc where the adapter plugs into the computer laptop or systemboard itself may have failed. You can test the connector when it is plugged by moving it gently to see if there is no change.

Is your laptop still under warranty?

It have tilted on the side would have no effect

  • Investigation of the APT software and LabView programming

    Hello

I'm new to LabView programming. I am currently using LabView 8.6. As you can see in the attached files, I wrote some code to synchronize the movements of axes X and Y of two controllers of Servo DC T-Cube using LabView programming. Now I'm tracing some Move_Absolute_Position data on graph XY in LabView. After that I sketched a movement of positions of engines, the graph only draw for the current position and erase previous data. Is there a way to track all the data on the chart? If you could give some examples, I would appreciate it.

    Best regards

    Jack

    There are no attached files.

To draw a story xy, the easiest would be to use the 'build xy graph express VI' and configure it to not erase the data between calls. You get this express VI if you place the xy graph in the express palette on the front panel.

    Hello

    Thanks for reminding me.

It comes in 2011 to LV and I used a model of power dc to start.

I adapted only Initialize.vi and set up output.vi and you need to test only those.

I have briefed the correct settings of series.

    Place it in instr.lib

I would really like to see the State, but it is not a detailed instrument.

    Hello

If the Camileo H30 and I got this camcorder with battery and adapter supporting USB mini jack.
The s AC adapter camcorder supports the release of 2A and 5V
    Its model DSA-10 p-05

Google for this model, maybe you could get one from some dealers online
Otherwise recommend that you check the other adapters supporting these values.

  • HP 8200 elite CMT: can I use an external power supply for AMD Radeon HD graphics card 7770?

I have HP 8200 elite CMT CPU in which 320 watts PSU is installed. I want to use AMD Radeon HD 7770 requiring more power (minimum 400 watts power supply) for maximum performance. Will be this harm to my PC?

  • Power supply for use in the UNITED Arab Emirates

    Hello

I just bought a Time Capsule of the airport and an Apple TV (4th gen).  I'm moving to Dubai for work and I intend to take with me.  I can't find out how to replace the power supply for use in Dubai (plug type G).

    • Can I just buy a travel voltage converter?
    • What is the frequency difference (US is 60 Hz and UNITED Arab Emirates is of 50 Hz)?
    • Could I just buy a 'EnergyPal travel Charging Station ETCS04' and connect directly?

    Thanks for any help!

The airport Time Capsule and the Apple TV work on 100-240 Volts and 50/60 Hz automatically, so they'll work pretty much anywhere in the world if you have the map of the right ankle.  A voltage converter is NOT necessary.

You can buy the cards you need to any store from the airport, luggage, in Dubai store, etc., most of the hotels the.  If I remember correctly, Dubai uses the same type of plug that she used in the United Kingdom, as well as should work as well.

    http://www.Amazon.com/Ceptics-grounded-Universal-Plug-adapter/DP/B0080R95XI/ref= sr_1_1? ie = UTF8 & qid = 1455557366 & sr = 8-1 & key...

I do not think that the higher 5 GHz channels are permitted in Dubai, so be sure to put the time Capsule to use a lower numbered GHz 5 channel... 36, 40, 44 or 48.

    (2) when I run the laptop on battery, I can turn off the phone by pressing the power button or by clicking the windows locked. But as soon as I plug the power supply whenever I want to stop the laptop, the laptop just restarts. Does anyone have any ideas?
