• Help with audio.

  There is no audio on the timeline in Premiere Pro CS6. The music video plays well before the first import. You hsve of suggestions as to what could be the problem?

  If you have waited for the sponsor to happen and still do not see a waveform (and you have removed the clip and tried to import again... and again... and again once), you have the same problem, I got last week.

  I tried to create a DVD compilation for a member of the faculty who retire and received a bunch of clips (most H.264).  About half of them came in just peachy with audio intact.  Others wouldn't matter with audio no matter what I tried (even if they have played very well in the QT interval).  Because my back was against the wall, I just exported the QTPro aiff and m. as well as video first and had on my life.

  The final draft was delivered, I spent some time trying to diagnose the problem.  As near as I can tell, there was some corruption wave in the header files that would not be imported.  Windows Movie Maker threw a fit irritate on each of them (although FPC 7 does not seem to mind).  GSpot gave a warning that I did not quite understand.

  (Just like experience), you can try resaving them in QT Pro (will not transcode, it will just rewrite the header information).  Also, see if you can import other H.264 files.  And, of course, look at this bar in line; It is very, very important!

  It seems that the sound has stopped working suddenly. We will analyze and identify the cause of the problem.

  He would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question.

  1. What is the brand and model of the computer?
  2. are you aware of changes to the computer before the show?
  3. do you receive any error messages?

  This problem normally occurs when the audio drivers are corrupt. We will perform some troubleshooting steps and try to resolve the issue.

  So I have an audio spectrum I want to stop when it gets to a certain height in the computer and not just go on the top and out of sight.

  I thought maybe I could do layer that covers the audio spectrum, but not the other objects in the model.

• Need help with Audio conditional

  Hello again! So from the outset in a course, after a few slides of intro, I have a slide tri to direct users to other parts of a course (autonomous learning directed manner). However, I have an audio narration that plays at the entrance to this slide (slide no audio, it plays by advanced actions). I'm trying to find a way so that once they have seen this slide once on hearing and audio first, any time that they get referred to this yard slide, they hear no audio again. How this could be done?

  What I've tried: I tried two things, first of all I created a variable called Sort_Audio. Sort_Audio would be assigned to the output of the previous slide, a value of 10. At the entrance to the slide of sort, a tip action would check if Sort_Audio is equal to 10. If this is the case, it plays audio (and clears that another variable that is not related, I just need to do two things, I combined the). I have on the output of the triage blade a tip action that resets Sort_Audio to 0 so that when a user gets referred to this yard slide, it would theoretically not featured audio. Problem is in the first place for a reason any, it will play not even audio first.

  The other thing I tried was quite similar, but instead to assign values to the slides, I tried cpInfoLastSlideViewed and he equalled in the name of the previous slide, but also do the same for cpInfoPreviousSlide. None seemed to work.

  I have demonstrated this workflow many times (DevLearn 2012, recently on an eLearning Guild online forum).

  You use any of the Exit event.  Have a user with a value variable initial (I used 0). Create a conditional action:

  IF v_visit equals 0

  Play the audio clip

  Assign the v_visit with 1

• Help with audio slideshow

  Photoshop Elements 8.0 to create a slide show.   After the addition of audio, magazine show several times with no problem.  Then began to question to see play and audio and then audio will cancel and slide show continues.  Is gone before and exported for Premiere Elements 8.0 and audio played throughout in the review.  Exported to DVD.  Plays very well on DVD player, but when I try to play on computer, drive Windows Media audio (music) time for a while and then fires.  If I stop and close the player and open again see picks it up had stopped and appropriate music playing, but only for a while and then turns off.  Make several copies of this DVD for others to play.  Some will use a DVD player, some will use the computer.  Which ' understand.  Need help.

  Have you tried to play the DVD on another computer to see if it's your computer or DVD?

  The fact that he plays very well on your DVD player makes me think it might be something wrong with your computer.

• Help with Audio using the DD Realtek Audio Manager

  I recently bought a new computer and tried today for the first time to record audio to one of my movies.
  
  On my old computer, there is no problem, but now that I bought a gateway that has this installed Realtek HD Audio Manager, I can't save.
  
  When I click on the audio button, the guest comes telling me that he will have to establish levels of microphone.
  
  Usually when I talk, it turns green and everything is correct.
  
  Now, nothing.
  
  Is there something with this software Realtek or the passage system which does not allow me to register?

  I'm not sure how to put it in terms you understand fully, but I'll try.

  When the computers are made, there are certain pieces of equipment which perform the tasks we ask them. This material is provided by different manufacturers. For example, you use a computer brand Gateway, but the internal circuit and the equipment are supplied by different manufacturers. Then gateway buys components from all over the place. And in this case, the manufacturer of the audio component is called RealTek. Audio material can be hard connected directly to the motherboard or it could be a separate and external expansion card that connects to the motherboard via a slot.

  Any hardware component normally requires a component of special software called a 'pilot' to help the operating system (Windows) understand how to work with the material. The driver can also reside in a few different places. It can be supplied on a chip on the motherboard or the expansion card, or it can also exist as a file that is installed in the operating system. Or it could be a combination of the two.

  so, in this case, RealTek is the manufacturer of a specific type of audio material. Unfortunately, no version of Captivate include how to work with the material provided by the manufacturer. The really unfortunate part of all this is while Captivate has problems with it, other software happily works just dandy and won't complain a bit.

  So the answer to the part of your question, is that if you remove any aspect of your software from RealTek, kill you also probably the audio capabilities of your computer. In other words, that no sound would work under Windows or any other software. Regarding the installation of other software that would work, you would seek to eventually buy an extra sound card. Disable the RealTek hardware and install the new card and its associated drivers. And even then, there is no guarantee that it would work with Captivate or even Windows. (My son continued his tail for a literally weeks trying to make a sound card to work in an old PC)

  As you can see, taking that approach is much heavier and more involved that it would be just maybe start Windows Sound Recorder or Audacity, record your audio clip and save it. Then in Captivate, import it into the project.

  What a pain that you would have to work this way? You're talking about. But until developers can so why some material works and some does not, it is what we are facing. For what it's worth, we see a similar problem with Captivate not reliable detection and work with a Headset Microphone that connects via the USB port.

  That player would not work in Flash Catalyst. The way the third component works is in the HTML containing for the audio player file, you add the path to the mp3 file in the FlashVars parameter. This information cannot be used in Flash Catalyst. You might want to look at this article on creating custom controls Media Player in Flash Catalyst CS5 to build a nice audio player in Flash Catalyst.

  AND you don't know that your the earphone volume is turned up... so on a callus of phone through the earpiece, press on the SIDE of the case volume key...

  If so, still no sound, you need to take it back to the seller for repair or Exchange.

• Problems with audio/video streaming with USB devices on zero clients

  Hello:
  We are using view 6.1.1 in our environment and problems getting audio/video streaming to work well with the USB headsets, with zero customers.  Helmets are Jabra Link 360 and customers zero Samsung NC241.  Helmets are used as well for the phones to Jabber and also as audio device by default.   We started with the audio driver Teradici and everything seemed to work well, except that users could not answer calls on the headset itself with the button on the headset.  They were able to answer the calls of Windows though and the part worked fine.  In order to get the physical button to work, we had to first fill the USB receiver they use on the zero clients so that Windows will see as the device Jabra 360 and not the audio device Teradici.  Then we had the EHCI USB mode on them as well, and after that he started to work very well.  However, the helmets also serve as the audio device main as well as the communication (phone) device, with audio streaming continuously throughout the day.  With the current configuration, audio streaming will cut in and out during the day, and audio/video is not always to stay in either phase.

  I also applied the registry in this KB hack, VMware KB: improvement in audio quality when you use speakers or USB headsets with a desktop VMware view Horizon 5.2 , which helped clear up Crackle that we originally with the part phone headsets.  But there is still the issue of streaming audio.

  I wonder if the effectiveness of the bridging USB is not as effective and also is there a way to make this work better?  I read that the use of the pilot Teradici is supposed to help with audio/video problems, but do not know how that can be applied to USB devices as we use.  I've been reading upward on Teradici audio/video settings, but do not know where to go from there.  I was hoping that there are some best practices to use USB headsets with a view, but so far I'm not finding anything useful.

  We were finally getting help by the people of Cisco after validation in the here and even open a support ticket with VMware, which was open for more than a month without will.  Where others try to implement similar, here are our findings:

  • Zero clients combine traffic USB and PCoIP.  It is not good when there is a lot of audio/video/USB traffic, especially the USB headsets that also carry audio softphone.  In our case, the USB traffic was so dense that it was causing audio and video become troubled and freeze and eventually cause the pcoip_server service to break in the virtual machine itself and cause the client disconnect.  The fix?  Don't use customers zero with USB phones software, they are not just designed for this type of solution.
  • Thin clients are much better designed for USB softphones.  In our case, we used the Cisco VXME client, which is the method of support for the use of Windows thin clients with the client of the Horizon.  There is integration between the two products that isolates the VOIP traffic out of the virtual machine and keeps it local on the client itself.  Regular audio and video traffic still go through the virtual machine using Teradici or VMware RTAV driver.

  Hope this helps others who may run this question.  One thing we did not try was a wired headset using the AV sockets on the zero client and Teradici audio driver.  This can work, but our needs here were the headphones must be bluetooth, so we were forced to stick with USB.

  First uninstall Sophos. Anti virus apps are not necessary and may cause problems. Remove the bittorrent as well. It can be a source od malware.
