My HP m7580n lost its information system
I lost my information system and now I can't use the recovery discs, say spywary PC my PC is not allowed to run on this computer too. Also, when I run a check of updates of drivers on pcpitstop it shows my computer to an ASUS instead of a HP. I've heard of a tattoo of the motherboard that may be lost, but I found no answers to that. Does anyone know how I can fix it. Thank you
Thanks for all the info. I see now it's hp or windows which is at the origin of the restore disks do not to work, because I have so much updated. I thought that the motherboard was the only thing that was needed to keep a hp computer. I wish just that since I bought it, I wouldn't have to go through this when I update my computer to get more life out of it. They make you buy new. For now, I'll get a full copy of XP pro, which is not oem so I for several years without this problem and build my own system too. No more horses. IM starting to see the advantage of building your own model.
Thanks for your help...
PS. It was a good article.

Cannot access my information system
Hello.
I have a laptop Acer Aspire which worked OK until a month ago.
Started with each time that I turned to my computer that has started making the automatic updates that took about 30 minutes. And then when I turn back on it tells me that the updates were not properly installed.
SO I tried to access Windows Update to check and then realized that it does not open. I click on the symbol for windows update and a window appears and closes before you click on anything.
Same thing happens when I try to access my Information System, click on the symbol and a window appears and closes.
What can I do? !!Toni
Hello AntoniaC,
Try to start your system in safe mode:
- Restart your computer if it is running.
- Press and hold the F8 key for 3 seconds after your computer powers initially on.
- Once you see the Advanced Boot Options menu (or beep) you can stop.
- Up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.
- Select Mode safe mode with networking and press ENTER.
- You should see drivers loading, it may take a few moments.
- You should then be at the Welcome screen.
- Connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges. Now, you download (free) MalwareBytes from here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?tag=mncol install, Update then do a scan of your system in safe mode, to ensure that it is indeed clean! Once the scan done remove anything it finds. Simply restart your PC to see if your problem has been resolved!
If your system is clean, then run this analysis of Auditor system in SafeMode below files:
1. click on Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click on command promptand select run as administrator.
2. click on continue or provide credentials admin if prompted.
3. in the command prompt window type the following, sfc/scannow (yes he's a space after sfc), and then press ENTER. This analysis may take some time to complete. This will replace missing/corrupted system with the right files from Microsoft files.
Hope this helps you. Let us know anyway. Make it a great day!

Information system.
Popular management files moved or missing.Do you know when this problem started? Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started. Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points. If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two. NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.
If the system restore does not work, do a startup repair, boot from the disk Installation of Windows Vista genuine (or one that you can borrow from someone) or a recovery disc. Here is the procedure: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html. You may need to change the BIOS to do first the CD drive in the boot sequence to boot from the CD. To do this, hold the screen that tells you the key F to push to enter the menu start or start of installation. Push it quickly. Make the changes, save your work and exit. Put the CD in the drive and reboot. When you are prompted, press any key to boot from the CD.
If you do not have a floppy disk, you can make a bootable recovery disk by using http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ with burning software like: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html and, of course, a blank CD.
If this does not work, try to start in safe mode (repeatedly hit F8 key so that the start and go in safe mode with networking). Then we will check some of your system files:
Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run. It will scan and try to correct some of your system files. If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.
While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run. It will scan and try to solve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a cause.
If it does not, then thanks for posting any repetitive error message in Event Viewer on startup (Start / Control Panel / administrative tools / Event Viewer). Here's how to use Event Viewer: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic40108.html.
If this does not work, you will need to do a repair/system upgrade using the Windows Vista Installation disc authentic (you own or that you can borrow from someone). Here is the procedure: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html as well as the upgrade from an earlier version of the Windows section of the following: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918884. Although this will not affect your data, settings or programs, you should always back up your data before you start just be on the safe side. If other procedures do not work, it is almost certain to work. You can have a lot of updates to re - install (including all you need to remove service packs). If the version on system with SP1 or SP2 preinstalled cane and the disc is an earlier version, then you will need to do a slipstream drive as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/151606-vista-sp1-slipstream-installation-dvd.html.
I hope one of these procedures can solve your problem. If this isn't the case, after return and we will try something else. Return message anyway so we know how it turns out.
Good luck!

Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install

I just sent my laptop either served by hp, it's a hp Pavilion g7-1350dx.
He was 3 months old when I got him but had been having the problem since just after the first month of use, the customer service representative told me to try to stick a paper clip in the slot where the fan was and he moving a little and it always had fine, however, I thought I should have the fan replaced anyway I did a lot of research on this topic and it seemed to me than the g6 and g7 pavilion models had the same problem and have been released without enough control of the quality of the tests on the system (90 b) fan, someone else had this problem?, I'm very nervous about how far the service technitions will have to disassemble my laptop to replace fan , (if they replace it in all) after reading on the web about other experiences with their own problems with hp notwbooks, it scares me a little bit to say the least. Does anyone have advice for me? One last thing, I want to say is, I read on the web somewhere about someone who claims that he used to work in one of these places of repair hp and everyone had a strict limit for each cell which was being repaired in just one hour, (anyone know if there is any truth to that?) and that most of the workers have been paid only $9 an hour all this makes me very nervous
ZufiThe fan needs to be replaced and must be complete enough to access removal. The fan is on the bottom side of the motherboard, so the motherboard must be pulled to get to the fan. Here is the Manual:
Most of the repair of a certain facilities type of expectations of production employees, and these are unpaid jobs. You can opt to take it to a local store, but they are responsible for clearly and you can or can't get an experienced repair tech. A very experienced technician could do the repair in less than 2 hours and maybe more nearly an hour so the time constraint is not as much of a problem you can think of. Personally, I would send in warranty repair.

I thought that I understood that I could set up a file.sys page on any available partition on Windows, if I wished, for example, to create more virtual memory or move a file to another drive. However the changes I make to my computer are not appearing in the system information, after a reboot - why is - this?
I have successfully configured internal auxiliary training to take on a pagefile.sys when you use the system advanced settings in the computer file system properties. Page created on the auxiliary drive single file memory is equal to once and a half the size of the physical memory of the computer.
As I had created a larger file of the Page on the auxiliary drive, I then decided to reduce the Page file on the boot up to 300 MB drive. When I did make changes, I clicked on the set then OK and then I rebooted the entire computer.
After restarting the computer, I tried to check system information for a summary of the changes I had made to the file Page and virtual memory space and I was disappointed to see that the pagefile on the auxiliary drive does not show upward. Information system had just recorded space Page MB 300 in C:\pagefile.sys file, and there is no trace of the larger Page file that I created on the auxiliary drive. How is that?
If I go back to the virtual memory window in advanced system settings, it clearly shows I changed two files Page. Yet in Information System shows only the boot Page file drive. How is that?
I always use Internet Explorer with only 300 MB Page file space, and it works really faster than the default virtual memory allocation, however the system soon slows down after opening about 5 instances of Internet Explorer and the system starts asking to close application windows down to save memory. So why does the system not switch to use the Page file on the auxiliary drive?

MS Info
I need to send a file Ms Info to Wb tech support so that they can help me with the game on steam download. Whenever they open the file it says it gives the following message "information MS cannot open this file. The file may be corrupt or incompatible with this version of the information system. "I tried to open it too and had the same error message how can I send a file not corrupted for them?
Information MS cannot open this file.
They should use Notepad to open the file when it is a txt file.
Another way to create a portable system information file is to select the hotkey Win + R, type msinfo32 , and press ENTER . Click file, Save and name the file. This method creates a file with an extension of nfo file. Perhaps the recipient expects the file in this format.

Hello
I've had my laptop for 2 or 3 years, and the sound was always very well. Yesterday morning my computer came suddenly with the sound with a red X icon. She was not dumb, and yet no sound came. The sound options show that no audio or recording devices are installed (for disabled AND disconnected devices). There is no 'of sound devices or video game"in Device Manager. Information system shows no information (empty) under its device. However, in Device Manager, under system devices, "High Definition Audio Controller" has a yellow caution icon and cannot start.I have not installed a new OS or anything recently.I have a Dell Inspiron 1545Windows 7 Home PremiumService Pack 1 (6.1.7601 Build 7601)Pentium Dual-Core CPU64-bit operating systemI tried:- Relocation and reactivation of "High Definition Audio Controller". I rebooted. No change.
- Go to the Dell website, download audio drivers for my label service and installation. We decompress in the drivers folder and nothing happens. One will be unzip, try to take me by another plant for IDT Audio and then say 'the hardware found is not supported by this IDT' and is abandoned. I rebooted. No change.
- Install drivers in safe mode. I rebooted. No change.
- In administrative tools > Services, I found "Windows Audio". He had started and was on "auto". Six of its dependencies (3 parents, 3 children) had started and were to "automatic".
- I looked at the system restore. There was a "critical update" this morning here. I restored to a point before update and restarted. No change.
- Looked in the BIOS for an option on the sound, but could not find one. Restore the BIOS default and rebooted. No change.
- Ran Microsoft Fix It I rebooted. No change.
- By clicking on the audio task bar icon runs the diagnostic window thing. It detects a problem with the description: "material changes may not have been detected.
- Put on the headphones. Nothing changes.
I'll probably have to do a fresh install, am I not?I would be very grateful if you could help, thanks.JeromeRight, I fixed it myself.
So I uninstalled "High Definition Audio Controller".
But this time, instead of just turning it back on and let it install it himself, I clicked on "Analysis of the hardware changes" (under the Action). He finds that a new device called PCI something under other devices. Then I open up Windows Update and click on search for new updates (it also analyzes the drivers) and I think it just automatically reinstall "controller Audio high definition" and then there was no problem of yellow warning sign thing.
If it does not, simply play in Device Manager with looking for changes on the hardware and the update of bollocks.
If you're still stuck, try "Add inherited harware" (this will install an OLD device), click Advanced, click on "sound devices" and video games, wait a while, find a suitable device and continue the process...
